Chapter 877 - Slapping Shen Yunya

After hearing what Shen Yunya said, Xi Lin didn’t panic. She simply stared at Shen Yunya coldly. “He Lian and I have been close since we were young. It’s natural for us to reminisce about old times since he was about to go back. However, due to our current status, we agreed to have a chat at the West Partial Palace. There’s nothing wrong with that.”

The anxiety she had earlier disappeared completely. She was now calm. She mustn’t admit what happened that night just because of what Shen Yunya said. She wasn’t that foolish.

“It is understandable for Princess to deny such a thing. However, you must not let your guard down. Concubine found out that what happened that day was caused by Feng Tianlan. It was all part of her plan.” Shen Yunya didn’t push Xi Lin. She had her own reasons for being here today.

She wanted Xi Lin to hate Feng Tianlan. She wanted them to kill each other. She wanted Feng Tianlan to be betrayed by her close friend once again. She wanted Feng Tianlan to know that she was no match for her even after being reborn.

Xi Lin sneered as she stared at Shen Yunya. “Common Consort Ya wants to instigate my relationship with Tianlan? Save it.”

She thought about what happened that day. Shen Yunya had initially schemed against Tianlan. However, Tianlan left early and it was Xi Lin that had overheard the news instead. Besides, she liked He Lian, therefore she wanted to go take a look. Even if they had only gotten to chat privately it would have been good enough.

However, who knew that when He Lian saw her, he would be very surprised. He hadn’t expected her to be there. Then, in a blink of an eye, the drug in He Lian took effect, which had led to what happened next.

She wanted to investigate this. However, she was the one who lost her virginity that night, which wasn’t a good thing to be spread. Therefore, she decided to just let it be and keep it as a memory.

“Is Princess willing to believe a person who was once your love rival rather than Concubine, who has been your close friend for more than ten years?” Shen Yunya looked at Xi Lin with an aggrieved expression. Xi Lin replied faintly, “That’s right.”

Fortunately, Xi Lin didn’t trust Shen Yunya. Otherwise, she wouldn’t know how she would have dealt with Tianlan. Tianlan would be the one who would feel hurt in the end.

Shen Yunya was quite speechless. She then continued, saying, “What Concubine has found out is all true. Princess can carry out an investigation as well. You will definitely find out that all of this was Feng Tianlan’s scheme.”

She didn’t dare to talk too much about the details as she was afraid that she might arouse Xi Lin’s suspicion.

Xi Lin stood up and gave her a mocking look. “He Lian and I were just chatting like a couple of old friends that night. However, you keep mentioning that there was some kind of ploy behind it. Are you so unhappy to see me happy?”

“My name is not for you to tarnish.” Xi Lin walked towards Shen Yunya and stared at her with cold eyes. She then raised her hand and gave Shen Yunya a brutal slap across the face.

Shen Yunya’s legs were already wobbly from kneeling. After getting slapped abruptly in the face, she fell onto the ground. Her hair ornament fell and half of her hair drooped down.

Xi Lin bent over and grabbed Shen Yunya’s chin with force, causing her to look up. She then said in a sarcastic tone, “Shen Yunya, I have never enjoyed seeing your hypocritical face ever since we were little. Now that you have become my brother’s concubine, you should do your part. I will settle all my scores with you sooner or later.”

She wanted Shen Yunya to pay for all the suffering that Tianlan had gone through.

“Princess, Concubine is your real friend. Concubine is feeling worried for you and is afraid that you might get cheated by bad people.” Shen Yunya wasn’t angry at all. She spoke in an extremely aggrieved tone.
