Jimin's POV
I hissed as Jungkook ran his thumb over my slightly swollen eye which had morphed into a blackened-bruised mess of an eye overnight.
"I'm going to kill him," Jungkook growled, standing up from his bent-over position.
I quickly reached out and grabbed his arm, pulling him back to the bed. He gave me a hard look but sat regardless as I looked at him, unamused. "I'm fine, Kookie," I let out a little laugh, looking down at the sheets.
"You know how much I love you, don't you?" He asked, reaching out and placing his index finger under my chin to lift it.
I nodded and smiled softly, but then wincing at the pain that traveled to my eye.
Jungkook frowned and let his finger drop, his stern face showing more and more these days.
An abrupt knock at the front door grabbed Jungkook's attention as he got up from the bed and padded downstairs to answer it.
I got up as well and slowly made my way down the stairs to listen in on who it was.
"They're here, Alpha." Taehyung's voice sounded.
"Who?"
There was a moment of hesitation. "Donghae Yang and his advisors."
Jungkook thanked Taehyung and closed the door, turning back to the stairs and he spotted me instantly.
"I need you to stay here while I deal with this," Jungkook said sternly.
I nodded and turned away, acknowledging that I shouldn't go.
"Hey," Jungkook called, making me turn and look over my shoulder at him, "I love you. Talk through the mind link if you need me, okay?" He asked.
I nodded and smiled softly, "I love you too, Alpha. Be careful."
A small grin spread across Jungkook's face as he turned back to the door and left, locking it behind him.
I sighed and walked back up the top few stairs, walking into our bedroom. I took off my clothes and slowly crawled into bed, turning to lay on my side as my thoughts began to consume my mind. Why is Donghae here? What does he want? Is a fight going to break out? I shook my head of the thoughts and closed my eyes, unable to withstand the tiredness that washed over me, I fell asleep quickly.

The sound of glass breaking within the house and Jungkook screaming in my head woke me instantly. I sat up, frantic and wide-eyed as Jungkook cried in my head, Jimin! Jimin! Please answer, are you okay?
Another sound of glass breaking downstairs made me panic as I quickly got out of the bed and ran to the window, tearing away the curtains to reveal a full-on war outside. Panicking and deciding to hide for now, I stumbled back to the closet, closing the door quickly.
I'm here, I'm still here. What's going on? I asked, terrified as I heard things clattering downstairs.
They attacked. You need to hide.
I closed my eyes tight and held myself against a corner. The moon goddess was quiet.
I'm coming for you. Jungkook whispered in my head. Stay put.
The sound of heavy footsteps walking up the stairs made tears come to my eyes as the sounds of picture frames lining the staircase shattered on the stairs.
They were looking for me. He was looking for me. I was next. The memory of Donghae's words sent a chilled shiver down my spine.
I looked up and noticed Jungkook's clothes swinging lightly from my earlier movement, his scent wafting over to me as an idea ran quickly through my mind. Hurriedly, I grabbed the clothes and buried myself under them, hoping his scent would cover mine.
The bedroom door slammed open abruptly, making me jump as a few tears fell down my cheeks.
I slapped my hands over my mouth to try to cover the small whimpers that escaped my mouth as my entire body shook and the hairs on my arms and the back of my neck stood on end. I listened sharply for any sound that happened outside of the closet, but only heard footsteps walking around slowly.
"I don't think he's here, Alpha." An unfamiliar voice sounded. The word 'Alpha' made my blood run cold. Donghae was in my house, in my bedroom, right outside the closet.
My eyes scanned the darkness, finding no light, only emptiness in the closet. The room and all was quiet for what felt like an eternity.
"It reeks of him in here." Donghae's voice spat, making my nerves go crazy. It was as if someone was raking nails down a chalkboard, or running a fork down a plate.
"Did you check the bathroom?" Donghae asked, his footsteps walking past the closet quickly to enter the bathroom.
"Yes, Alpha. Nothing." The other voice said, standing in place.
"Very well. Check the other houses. He may have fled to another one to throw us off. I'll stay here and look around. Maybe I'll find something actually useful." He growled, walking past the closet once more to continue rummaging through our things.
The other man walked back down the stairs and the sound of the front door slamming filled my ears. I closed my eyes and shuddered at the thought of the evil man just outside my door.
He's in the house. I whispered to Jungkook through the mind link.
Stay where you are. I'm almost there. Jungkook replied instantly.
I tightened my hold on his clothes, the mound of pants and shirts covering me in a pile.
Jungkook's scent calmed my nerves, but I still listened closely as the sound of Donghae rummaging through our nightstands filled my ears. He huffed, obviously finding nothing.
I listened with strained ears as a high pitched ringing of nothingness echoed back to me.
No footsteps, no rummaging, nothing.
The closet door burst open, making me jump but immediately tense up to be still.
I froze, falling absolutely quiet and stopping my breathing as I tried to make myself smaller under the pile of Jungkook's clothes on the right side of the closet.
"I'm not that dumb, you know." Donghae's voice said, almost bored sounding.
His hand reached into the pile and grabbed my arm, making me scream. I kicked and flailed as he dragged me out into the room, his tight grip making me cry out for Jungkook.
Thick, fat tears rolled down my face now as I screamed bloody murder. "Let me go!" I wailed as he picked me up almost effortlessly by my left bicep and tossed me onto the bed.
I tried to back away, but he grabbed my ankles and dragged me towards him, an evil smirk spreading over his face.
"I can see why Jungkook likes you." He said climbing on top of me. I hit and clawed his chest and arms, trying to get him off desperately.
"Jungkook! Jungkook!" I screamed, my face red and wet with tears and fear as I squirmed underneath Donghae in a hopeless attempt to get away. Donghae growled and slapped me hard across the face, making me whimper and shut up as I turned my face away from him.
"Alright, I've had my fun. Come on, princess." He snarled, grabbing my wrist and pulling me off the bed behind him once more.
As he dragged me down the stairs by my wrist, my body banging against the sharp angles and glass shards from the picture frames that were knocked off earlier, I cried out in pain. He only tightened his grip at every bump until we finally came to the bottom of the stairs leaving a trail of my blood behind us.
"Jungkook!" I managed to scream one last time as he led me out of the front door and into the snowy forest.
Jungkook's black wolf emerged from the gravel path, his wolf's eyes wide with fright at the sight. He sprinted to me as I screamed and cried out his name.
Donghae reached down and grabbed me hard with one hand on my chin, my lips pursed. "Shut the fuck up!" He spat and let go, red fingerprints visible on my cheeks. He continued to drag me into the forest as Jungkook getting closer and closer till two wolves jumped in front of him.
I could only watch as they held Jungkook back, Jungkook swinging and trying to avoid their blows as Donghae only led me deeper and deeper into the forest.
Jimin! He screamed through the link, horrified.
While he was distracted, one wolf clamped down and bit him on his hind leg, grounding him down. The other quickly charged forward with opened jaw. Jungkook swung to the right, sharp canines missing his throat by a hair.
"Jungkook!" I cried.
The forest grew denser until there was no longer any sight of Jungkook and the wolves, nor the crescent of homes. The sounds of the war faded out, the silence and snow and trees now engulfed us completely. I stared back into the distance, hoping Jungkook would be here at any second.
Tears ran down my face as Donghae continued to drag me, approaching a large black SUV parked in the middle of the forest.
"Up you go, princess." Donghae groaned, heaving me into the back seat, then following behind and sat beside me. I whimpered and scooted as far away from him as I could, pressing myself up against the other side.
Donghae just rolled his eyes at me and commanded the driver, "Drive."
