~Chapter 2: Bite me

I ran; I didn't think I would get far but I got at least 3 blocks before he caught up to me ; jumping on top of me and pinning me down, I grunted in surprise and pain.

"Why did you run?" He pierced into my eyes with his Deep eyes.

I stayed silent ; wanting to say a few choice words *cough* but my body not allowing me.

He put his head to my neck and breathed in ; marking my scent in his memory.

"I'm sorry if I scared you, I wasn't sure how to approach you once I found you were human" He hummed into my ear gently.

Then I found my voice, "C-Can you let me up?"

"Are you going to run again?" He said kissing behind my ear and down my neck. I shook my head and he let me go and stood to his feet.

"What's your name?" He smiled a fangy grin as he helped me up; tingles shooting up my arm.

"Reese" I looked at him and immediately felt self conscious; trying to distract myself from it I asked his name .

"Karta Mannings" he snaked his arm around my waist and pulled me closer to his chest. His large chest engulfing my entire frame. His Warmth and Buzzing feeling spreading throughout my body.

"Let's head back to the festival grounds and get confirmed he smiled through his words and kissed my cheek releasing my waist and taking hold of my hand.

We got back 5 hours ago and the first night was about to end. Sadly I was confirmed as a carrier; I wasn't sure how to feel and I was nervous and my stomach was turning. Karta was introducing me to his friends but all I could think about was what was to come in a few hours. It's tradition to form a bond with your mate the night of finding them.

"Reese!" I heard my brother yell.

I looked over and to my surprise I saw a 7 foot beast of a man next to him and a lovely mating mark on his collarbone. One look at the man and anyone can tell he's a Werewolf.

"Congratulations Ritz; finally mated" I said simply and looked at the man who nodded and introduced himself quietly as Bandeo Grames a Beta of another territory.

As soon as I introduced myself I felt heavy and it was hard to breathe; I looked at my brother who had a shocked expression peering behind me. I turned to see Karta; Bright Purple Eyes and pheromones going crazy. Unbonded mates that found their mates are super Territorial.

Somehow...

Just somehow...

I know this won't end well for me.
