Chapter 5

I occasionally leaned over to Alaric to ask him questions about the packet. I kept trying to peek over at Alaric's answers. I got that his favorite color was red too, his favorite animal was a dragon, he prefers his bed lying down and his special abelites went on for miles...I felt embarrassed only having one. One of his abilities was cancelation which...made a lot of sense now. Alaric was also a year older than me and a winter baby. After i was done filling out the sheet i quickly tucked it into my pocket before Alaric could get any peeks. I tapped my foot watching out the window.

Id glance back at Alaric to see him stealing glances at me. To which id quickly look away blushing. "So...Was being a little what you were scared of?" i hummed nodding. It felt shitty knowing the role he did'nt want was far more serious then mine. "It's understandable, this community can be... intimidating if you've never been induced to it." I shook my head talking glances over at him. "No...actually my mother and father are apart of it. I just...don't like being away from my family. Unfortunately vampires are dead but still have emotions..." He chucked to himself patting me on the back. "Isn't that the truth, it'll be okay. If you need me I'll always be right there." He looked down at his hand with his folded up paper in his hands. "Both my mother and father are the same, though they bicker...quite a bit about it. My father chose my mother and." He went back to looking out the window. "Well we're meant to teach them the ways...but I wasnt comfortable with that. I want my sub to have a choice in who they want to be with." I nodded smiling up at him. "I think thats wonderful Alaric." He looked back down at me his eyes wide in surprise. "Your very kind dessert rose." I blushed at the nickname looking back down.

"We're almost there, want me to take your paper?" I looked down at the papers in my hands. "S-sure, just don't peak." I handed it over at him and he winked smirking. "I promise." I rubbed my face trying to get the red creeping up my cheeks to go away. The bus stopped promoting me to look outside. A giant castle lay just beyond fog and trees. The Gothic style of the castle felt oddly comforting. Home I repeated in my head. This will be my home for the next 2 years. "Alright students, please start coming to the front one at a time. I will take your interview packets and ms.donnavan will lead you into the school to the cafeteria to eat lunch and will separate you into Dom's and sub after lunch is over. She will give the subs a tour and I will give the Dom's a tour. You will receive your class schedules and head back to the cafeteria to eat lunch. Once we get everyone accounted for you will go to your rooms to change and relax (as I'm sure those outfits are stuffy.) you will head to the cafeteria for dinner once meal time is called over the intercoms. You may dress in whatever you like. Once dinner is over you will head to the auditorium where we will sort out Dom's and Sub's for pairing. Alright let's get this amazing day started!"

Students began filing out of the bus seat by seat. Once the line got to our seats Alaric grabbed me by my hand and began leading me out of the bus. He handed both mine and his interviews into ms.dawn. She whispered something to Alaric just audible to me. "You think you found the one?" She glanced at me with a large smile. "That's up to her, she has a choice." I blushed looking away. Alaric wants...me? I felt so nervous holding his hand now. "Well whatever she decides id love a little niece." She said winking and ushering us off the bus. Alaric looked down at me smiling. I quickly looked away biting my lip. "You heard us didn't you?" I nodded walking next to him into the parking lot. "Hm...well I don't mind, it's still up to you. They will select a Dom for you and if you...don't like them then you always have a choice." Suddenly I was whisked off my feet by a light giggling voice. "Lilly!" I looked down from where I was being a bear hugged to see Zander. I giggled ruffling his white hair. "Hi zandy! I didn't expect to see you." I hugged him back tightly. He made a phht sound. "Me? Not a little. You must have forgotten me." He made a pouting face before lightly placing me back onto my heals.

"And who might this be rose bud?" I looked up at Alaric smiling. "This is Zander, I've known him since we were in diapers." Zander punched my shoulder. "Speak for yourself." I blushed looking back down at Zander. Zanders littlespace was 2-4. I very well knew he wore pull-ups. When he first tried them he showed me telling me not to judge him. I of course didn't. Alaric looked down at us amused. "Everyone please gather to ms.donaven. she will take you in." I saw a teacher just a little further ahead near the doors. She wore a pencil skirt and flowy blouse, with clacky heals. Her black hair was tied into a bun with a pencil sticking out. We all began to walk towards her grouping around us. She checked somethings off on her clipboard. "Okay we have...Brookwood highschool, Lincoln private school aaaand Menton tech...oh and...homeschooled? She pointed to Alaric and he simply nodded. She put another check before turning around and opening the doors.

"Welcome to silver divinitys school for Dom's and Sub's new students!" She smiled brightly reaching her arm up to the banner above the door. "Welcome new students."
