Chapter 1624 Just Take Care of Yourself

Mr. Anderson originally did not want to eat together. After all, this was Clayton’s first formal meeting

with the family for dinner.

However, since Floyd said so and with Nicole’s enthusiasm, everyone did not mind, so it would be bad

if Mr. Anderson refused.

Mr. Anderson simply responded and added a set of tableware for himself before he sat down.

Nicole also drank a lot. She clinked glasses with Grant a few times, and he did not refuse.

After Grant drank, he turned to look at Aida. His eyes were so gentle and bright. There was an

indescribable warmth and affection that was never to be seen on a normal day.

Clayton sat here and suddenly felt that he aspired to this life. He felt as if he had become a part of their

family.

Kai drank the most. His words were unfiltered as he babbled about everything, so much so that

everyone wanted to beat him up to relieve their anger.

Kai came over with a glass of wine and put his arm around Clayton’s shoulders.

“What are you talking about? Do you believe that I’ll throw you out the window?”

“Go to hell!”

Kai was driven away by Floyd.

Nicole was laughing with one hand supporting her face. She looked a little drunk.

Clayton could not help but pour her a glass of water and carefully held it to her mouth. He coaxed her.

“Come, open your mouth and take a small sip…”.

Nicole obediently bowed her head and took a small sip. She did not drink much at all.

Clayton was helpless when he saw her giggling happily. He wondered what she was so happy about.

She was not even so cheerful after escaping death.

“Are you that happy tonight?”

He whispered and patted her back, fearing that she would be uncomfortable.

Nicole’s eyes glimmered as she nodded. “Very happy!”

Clayton frowned slightly. “Why are you so happy all of a sudden?”

He took a tissue to wipe her mouth.

Nicole hooked her finger.

Clayton’s face was slightly red. He looked around and saw that everyone was doing their own thing,

and no one noticed them before quietly putting his ear next to Nicole’s lips.

“What is it?”

Nicole spoke in a small voice.

“I’m going to be an aunt! My sister-in-law is having a baby!”

It was only less than three months, so it was not good to announce it to everyone.

However, Nicole could not help keeping this kind of information and excitement to herself. She must

find someone to share it with. She felt even happier than earning millions of dollars.

Clayton faintly froze, then looked up at the couple.

Across the table, Grant was gently cutting steak for Aida. He cut a small piece and put it to her mouth,

dotingly asking her i f she wanted to eat it.
