Chapter 1927
The Divorced Billionaire Heiress
The door is not shut.
Lumi sat on the balcony rocking chair, holding her favourite half-height big teddy bear in her arms. On
the table next to her was a computer and a cellphone.
The computer stock market has been soaring all the way, which is very objective.
Kirsi paused; she was familiar with Lumiâs habits.
When Iâm in a bad mood, I like to look at the stock market because it shows that money is still flowing in.
Itâs also a coincidence that whenever sheâs in a bad mood, the stock market must be doing well. But now
itâs her dearest sister who makes her feel bad.
Kirsi walked over with a heavy heart, step by step.
Lumi shifted her gaze to the side and noticed her: âDo you no longer need to film?â
The tone suggested that nothing significant had occurred.
Kirsi paused before responding, âI asked for leave. I wanted to come here yesterday, but the scene was
not filmed, so I couldnât leaveâ¦â
This matter was also surprising to her.
Kirsi, who has always been one, was unable to enter the state for an extended period of time while
filming.
Even the director was taken aback, and the people next to her were constantly watching the fun, which
was nothing more than a mockery of her work ethic.
It was the first time she had lost her cool. But she couldnât stop herself.
The scene was shot until 3:00 a.m. and lasted only a few minutes.
She couldnât come over at the time, so she had to squint in the car for a while.
I saw what Lumi had posted on the Internet early the next morning, and it was already in full swing.
Kirsi felt the burning sensation of slaps falling on her face despite the fact that she was not mentioned in
a single word.
Lumi never rubbed her eyes with sand. She refused to listen to an explanation. Perhaps she knew,
without explanation, that nothing could change.
Lumi only smiled softly when she heard it: âYouâve always been so committed; it appears that nothing is
more important than your filming.â
Kirsi understood what she meant and simply walked over to the opposite chair. She paused and then
said, âBecause I have nothing but filming,â
âWhat do you want to say?â Lumi asked.
âBefore I decided to become an actor, I overheard my father and Aunty Louisa discussing Lumi in the
future. You get everything in the house, and I get nothing. You interned at the company, and I interned at
a company owned by a friend of my fatherâs. You know, this is the job they found for me? That uncle As
soon as he went up, he touched me, and I didnât dare to say anything.â Kirsi chuckled lightly, as if
recalling a haunting but tedious memory.
Lumi smirked slightly âWhy donât you try it? Why would Dad be unconcerned if you said it?â
Kirsi smiled as she looked at Lumi, âBecause even if I said it, it would just be a change to another
company, and I would still be rejected.â
âAre you overthinking?â Lumi rolled her eyes in silence. âAre you planning to exact revenge on me?â
Kirsi paused, lowered her eyes, and stated calmly and indifferently: âI have no intention for vengeance on
you. I simply wish to state that it is because of you that I have never disliked anyone in the Makinen
family. I am willing to become an actor and fight for my own career., is to completely cut off relations with
the Makinen familyâs interests in order to avoid becoming a thorn in Aunty Louisaâs eyes.â
Lumi snorted lightly, clearly not saying anything about her thoughts. âI understand you have low self-
esteem, but you are the one who first treated yourself as an outsider. I have nothing to say after so many
years if you are unbalanced because of a minor difference in treatment.â
