Chapter 1929
The Divorced Billionaire Heiress
Lumiâs expression remained unchanged. She cocked her head and gently curled the corner of her lips.
âYouâre just telling me about your love story? Itâs fine now; when we divorce, you can be with him openly.â
Kirsi took a breather and pursed her lips: âSister, you know Iâm not like that. Thatâs what I mean; Iâm here
to convince you not to divorce.â
Lumi chuckled softly and sipped the rose tea on the side:
âFirst and foremost, you should know that I am not a person who is easily persuaded.
Second, youâre my sister, but when you married, you kept your relationship so secret that you believed
you could be right after breaking up with him? You were his lover, you agreed not to sleep with him.
âHave you gone?â
Lumiâs words were tinged with impatience and disgust, as if she couldnât take it any longer.
Everything around her is her favourite decoration, but she is now only cold.
âOr do you think this is a common occurrence in your circle, so I donât mind?â
âAre you disgusting, Kirsi?â
Kirsiâs face faded as a result of Lumiâs words. Lips are bloody and pale.
Lumi had never said such harsh words, and she had never been willing to say them to Kirsi!
âI understand Samuelâs romantic nature, and I can accept that he doesnât love me, but I canât stand your
past. I canât stand you behind my back. You said you didnât contact him after we married, so I must have
had a lot of friends before. What happened the second time I saw you go out to social events together?
Do you want to tell me itâs a coincidence as well? Donât think of others as fools, Kirsi. Do you think this is
acting? Would you like to clear things up because there was a misunderstanding?â
Lumi has never said so many harsh words in her life. Her every word pierced Kirsiâs heart.
Kirsi didnât think it was a big deal and assumed Lumi would forgive her as before. However, until now It
was only then that she realised there is no such thing as a cheap thing.
Kirsi sat stiffly, her lips white, and she didnât know what to say. Of course, no matter how she explained
Lumiâs appearance, she would no longer believe it.
âSister, whatever you think, what has happened cannot be changed, but what I havenât done, I will not
admit.â Kirsi stated, stood up and gave Lumi a long look. Her eyes were filled with complex and profound
emotions.
It would be wonderful if Lumi could be the same as before and forgive her for talking and laughing. Ah!
Lumi, on the other hand, didnât even raise her head to look at Kirsi.
Kirsi paused and exhaled deeply: âIâm leaving Makinenâs house; Iâm not welcome here anyway, so Iâd
better leave as soon as possible. Iâll come whenever you need me in the future. Sister, Iâm sorry I hurt
you.â
She drew the corner of her mouth and looked at Lumi with red eyes before turning around and leaving.
Lumi sat motionless, not even raising her eyelids.
Camden sighed as he entered. âCome in and talk to you, but I persuaded her to rest first. Let you think
about it first. weâre all here for your own good but there arenât many noble children who donât care; is it
better to change one? â
