Chapter 2428 Wait for You to Start the Party

Eric proposed to redo Chance’s birthday party.

Chance was elated when he heard this.

The venue of the party was a large villa that Eric owned.

Eric asked Chance to invite his friends and classmates. It did not matter how many people he invited.

The first person Chance invited was Levi, and the second was Selena.

The other invitations were sent out by Mitchell.

The next day, Selena thought that she would wait for Eric’s message.

“But you didn’t tell me where the party was...”

Eric was silent for a while.

Selena took a deep breath. ‘F*ck him! I’m not going! He’s such an arrogant b*stard!’

She gritted her teeth and said, “I don’t, because I don’t want to talk to you!”

Selena hung up the phone. She always acted faster than she could think.

Eric’s face turned dark with anger. Selena made up her mind not to go. Anyway, she was merely a

guest and not an important one at that.

Why did Eric say that they were waiting for her to start the party? Eric probably said this to fool her in

order to make her feel guilty.

Selena would be a fool to believe it!

Eric’s face was glum. He turned off his phone and looked at

Mitchell, who was walking toward him.

“Go to the bar and pick up Selena.”

Mitchell paused. “Ms. Nelson has a car...”

“She doesn’t know the address. That idiot doesn’t even know how to open her mouth and ask!”

Eric cursed and went to the front hall.

Mitchell was speechless as he thought, ‘I think Eric just didn’t make it clear when he invited Selena...’

Eric never had to invite anyone to a party before, so it was not surprising that he would make mistakes.

Mitchell sighed, did not say anything, took his car keys, and went to pick Selena up.

However, Keith did not bring a female companion. Instead, he brought a five or six-year-old girl with

him.

The little girl was cute. When she smiled, her canine teeth were obvious. She was also wearing big

brand name children’s clothes.

Keith loved her very much. He walked up to Eric with a smile and showed off his daughter.

“This is my daughter, Melody. Isn't she pretty?”

Keith sighed. “She was sick before. Livia was taking care of her at home every day. I was also

tormented. Now that she’s better, I want to take her out more often. It’s so boring to stay at home all the

time!”

Eric nodded. He heard about it before, but it was not a serious illness, so Eric did not visit Keith. He

only asked Mitchell to send over some gifts.

“Why didn’t you bring Livia along? Aren’t you afraid that she’ll get bored?”

Keith glanced at him, put his daughter on the ground, and said with a smile, “Melody, go play by

yourself. Don’t wander too far...”

Melody nodded happily and disappeared in a flash. Keith said seriously, “It’s not that you don’t know

what happened before. Livia doesn’t want to see anyone from your family. Stop mentioning her in

public...”

Eric raised his eyebrows. He remembered seeing Nathaniel picking up women in the bar and shook his

Keith glanced around and saw that the children were circling Chance. Some people were taking care of

them.

Levi really stood out in the crowd. He had the same facial features as Grant. He was flawless, calm,

and steady at a young age. However, his smile was innocent and harmless.

Keith clicked his tongue. “Why didn’t Nicole’s little princess come? I wanted my daughter to make

friends with her!”

Eric rolled his eyes at Keith and pursed his lips.

“Clayton treats her like treasure and refuses to let her come because he’s afraid that something will

happen to her.”

However, Clayton was generous in picking out a gift. It was almost the same value as the necklace that

Eric gave Nicole last time.

Clayton gave Chance an antique vase that was just as valuable as that necklace.

Was this intentional?

Clayton was such a fussy fox!

Keith laughed. “Right... She almost drowned the last time. If this happened to my daughter, I wouldn’t

let her come either.”

Eric glanced at him coldly, and Keith instantly shut up.

Soon after, Jayla came in an extravagant dress. She looked at Eric nervously.

“Mr. Ferguson, according to your request, I’ve asked my company’s employees to come and help out.”

Eric nodded. “Thank you.”

“You're welcome. This little favor is nothing. Let me know if you need anything.”

Jayla stood there excitedly.

In the past few days, Eric had indeed let go of the Jennings family.
