The Backstory On My History Teacher (teacherxstudent)
Part of me just wanted to come up with an excuse as to why I couldn't go over to Hayden's. Other than the obvious that is.
"Dash you can just stay here, he has to understand that you're under a lot of pressure as well," Rose tried reasoning with me again.
"I can't just let him deal with this on his own. Yes it hurts like hell but I need to make sure he's okay and where we stand. I'll be back in a little bit."
"Okay," she affirmed and went to go find Sean while I made my way quietly over towards Hayden's house.
Missy's car was gone from the driveway which relieved a huge worry that had been building up inside. Of course... There was always the fact that she might be getting things to move in.
Oh don't be stupid Dasha, he just professed his love for you. She's out of the picture for the most part, my mind reasoned with me.
But I still hesitated at the doorstep to ring the doorbell and go inside. What was I so afraid of? Rejection? Realizing that I wasn't completely his anymore? The fact that he could leave me to become a parent?
The door opened as I began to ring the doorbell. Hayden seemed to look beyond exhausted and yet relieved to see me.
"Hey," he spoke cautiously as I made my way in and took in his appearance. He literally had gone through hell and back within twenty-four hours.
"Why don't you freshen up and maybe get some sleep? I'll make some food for us and you can eat when you wake up," I offered gently.
He hesitated, "I don't want to leave you."
"I'll still be here Hayden," I rubbed his knuckles gently with my thumb, "go get some rest okay? I'll make some sandwiches and then join you."
He slowly made his way upstairs while I went to the kitchen and looked for the bread and some cheese. Grilled cheese sandwiches sounded good to me.
While I began to assemble the sandwich, I tried clearing my head of everything that was going on. He loved me... That was still hard to grasp in a sense and as much as I wanted him to say it again, this probably wasn't the right time.
Taking the sandwiches off the stove, I placed some potato chips on the plate and carried both up to his bedroom. Hayden was laying on his side but I knew he wasn't asleep.
Setting the plates down, I crawled into the bed and wrapped my arms and legs around him. With him being so tall and me, well not so tall, I felt I was trying to hug a telephone pole that was on steroids.
"Baby," I kissed his shoulder as he shifted slightly and curled himself around me.
"I didn't mean to bring you into this," he murmured softly.
"Honestly," I began and kissed his forehead, "this is slightly easier than someone finding out that we're together on campus."
Hayden said nothing as his eyes searched mine. He seemed to be assessing how upset I was over the situation but I knew it wouldn't be as much compared to how he was holding up.
I traced my fingers along his chest and looked back at him, even with the unexpected news I was still deeply in love with him. Hard to believe huh?
"I love you Hayden Blaze."
Hayden blinked twice as he brought his lips to mine and kissed me gently. "As I love you Dasha Watkins. Stay with me and we'll figure this out?"
"How can I leave you when you told me you loved me?" I whispered quietly, my voice was going to betray me any second now.
"It was a shitty way to express it I'll admit," he sighed and trailed his fingers along my back, "but I really love you Dasha. I don't care... not in a bad way, but that kid... I don't love her anymore. You're my main focus, not her."
"Did she mention anything about wanting to get back with you...?" I asked cautiously.
He shook his head, "no she's with someone else now. I'm not sure if he's taken the news well either... but I just wish it wasn't mine and hers..."
"Would you rather it be ours or nothing at all," I bit my tongue as soon as I realized that I asked that outloud.
Hayden's breathing stilled for a moment. His green eyes pierced through me and I felt my heart race again as he spoke, "ours."
Oh shit... he wants kids! With me! Could I give that to him? It's only my freshman year at college!
"Dash," he kissed my nose, "don't worrry love I'm not expecting that from you. There's plenty of time for that okay?"
"Okay," I let out a huge sigh and felt his hands begin to wander on me again. "Do you..." I trailed as I felt myself peeling off the rest of whatever was on me at the moment.
"Yes," he breathed and wasted no time in kissing me deeply before sliding himself in. Oh God, the second time around felt even better!
"Hayden," I moaned his name loudly as he bent down and sucked on my collarbone. I was in heaven!
"I love you baby," he thrusted harder into me as I continued to thrust back. I knew he did, and whatever would happen we would face together.
**Figured I could upload a chapter here :) no this isn't the end, still have some chapters left so yay! Would love some ideas though ;) and I'll dedicate the next chapter to someone if they can provide some insight on what they want to see. Thanks guys!!**
