*Isha's PoV*

"Tu kuch batane wali thi hume?" Krtika asked, taking her seat in front of me.

I nodded. "Kya?"

"Umm... voh ki-" I was just about to say when Rhea chipped in. "Kya? Kya baatein ho rahi hain? Mujhe bhi batao."

We three glared at her. "Kya hua? Aese kyu dekh rahe ho tum teen mujhe?" She innocently said.

"Voh yeh hain ki main Krish ko janti hu."

"Us mein kya? Voh toh hum bhi jaante hain." Rhea chipped in again while eating her food.

"Meri puri baat sunegi tu?" I looked at her, and she nodded. "Ab bich mein maat bolna."

"If you guys don't know then let me tell you ki main pehle idhar rehti thi like when I was 6 or something or jab main 9 saal ki thi tab main yaha se shift ho gayi." They all looked at me to continue. "Jab main 6-7 Saal ki thi tab main Krish se milli thi."

"Arey yeh toh acchi baat hain," Kritika said.

"Par usse main yaad nahi hu." I Sadly said.

"Aese kese tu yaad nahi hain? Aesa hain toh hum usse puch ke aate hain." Anaya tried to reassure me.

"Nahi, puchna maat." I stopped her from asking.

"Kyu?"

"Actually jab main unse milli thi at that time we were friends aur tab hum dono ne ek promise Kiya tha."

"Kesa promise?" Anaya asked while Kritika looked at me with curious eyes.

"Ki jab tum dono bade ho jao ge tab tum dono shadi karoge ek dusre se." Rhea continued as I looked at her with widened eyes.

"Tujhe kese pata?" Kritika raised her eyebrow at Rhea.

"Aesa sab serial mein hota hain, jab male lead aur female lead chhote hote hain tab voh log ek dusre se promise karte hain ki voh dono bade hoke ek dusre se shadi karenge aur jab bade hote tab kar bhi lete hain." Rhea explained.

"Tu aaj kal kuch jyada serial nahi dekh rahi?" Anaya said to Rhea.

"Arey voh mummy dekhti hain." Rhea looked at Anaya.

"Par idhar serial nahi chal rahi, idhar hum vaastavikata ki baat kar rahe hain." Anaya glared at Rhea. "Aap apne serialo ki duniya se bahar aaiye."

"Hum kiski baat kar rahe hain?" I asked, mixed up while Rhea gave her a confused look, and Kritika gave her, 'What in the world are you saying?' Look.

"Vaastavikata, yani ki reality. We are talking about real life, not serial life. I meant that."

Anaya described.

"Sidha sidha, reality nahi bol sakhti tu?" Rhea said irritated.

"Chup ho jao tum dono, Ishu you tell us tum dono ne kya promise Kiya tha?" Kritika shutted Anaya and Rhea.

I stayed silent.

"Are you going to say anything?" She raised an eyebrow at me.

"Vohi joh isne bola." I pointed at Rhea, who blankly stared at me.

"You mean you both promised to marry each other?" I nodded, while Anaya laughed.

"Accha mazak tha." I stayed silent instead of correcting her that I was not kidding. "So you are saying the truth."

I nodded.

"And even though I met him yesterday, I have started taking interest in him," I confessed.

"Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!! Love at first sighttttttttt." Rhea teased, wiggling her eyebrows.

Just as they began to tease me relentlessly, a deep, soothing voice interrupted me from behind, "What are you guys teasing her about?"

Anaya turned around with a shocked face, whereas Kriti and Rhea looked behind me with widened eyes.

I didn't have a reason to look behind as I already knew the owner of the voice. Krishna Mehta.

He took a sit beside him as other boys joined. Jay bhaiya sat beside Kriti, in front of Krish. Beside Jay bhaiya, Karan bhaiya was sitting and beside Krish, Yash bhaiya was sitting.

Krish looked at me with his pretty eyes. "Hey again." He whispered. "I am upset that you left me alone in the morning to deal with Aditi ma'am."

I gave him apologetic eyes.

"So why you all were teasing Ishanvi?" Yash asked.

"Voh toh hum Ishanvi ko chida rahe the kyuki she has a crush on- mmhhm " Kriti covered Rhea's mouth her hand before she could reveal anything further.

"Kya kar rahi hain tu?" Rhea said once she removed Kritika's hand from her mouth.

The boys looked confused. "What?" Krish asked.

"I heard Ishanvi-crush- something like that," Karan stated.

"Arey voh toh humari Isha ko kisi pe crush hain." I glared at Rhea when she revealed this.

Hearing this, I noticed Krish's movement stopped for a moment; then he continued eating.

"Kis pe? Ladke pe?" Yash bhaiya inquired.

"Nahi! Ladki pe hain." Jay bhaiya asked. The boys seem more interested in my crush rather than the girls.

"Sab janna hain aapko?" Kriti rolled her eyes at Jay bhaiya.

"Haan, aapko kuch?" Jay bhaiya back fired.

"Voh ladka humare school ka hain?" Yash bhaiya question, I nodded.

"Um... guys chalte hain, break khatam hone ko aaya." I want to get out of here before they could investigate more on my crush who is sitting right beside me.

And surprisingly, he is quiet for a long time.

"Arey ruk ja abhi time baki hain, pure pe pure 10 min hain." Rhea said. "Mujhe khane de mujhe bhug lagi hain."

"Pure din dhusti hain." Anaya said to Rhea. Rhea muttered something in an alien language while chewing food.

"Oyee Krish bhai!! Aap kabse chup bethe ho?" Kriti questioned to Krish, who was eating food silently.

"Aaj subhe se bichare ka din kharab ja raha hain." Yash uttered.

"Aesa kya hua?" This time Anaya asked.

"Subhe subhe bhai saheb late ho gaye, fir Aditi ma'am ne pakda, uske baad late aane par aur baat karne par Vikas sir ne daat sunai, uske baad homework na karne par isse class se bahar nikala aur class ke bahar principal ne daata isse." Jay bhaiya explained, shaking his head while Krish stayed quiet.

"Bichare bhaiya!!" Rhea pitied Krish.

Yash bhaiya patted Krish's back. "Hota hain! Hota hain!"

As our table got engaged in conversation, I noticed something.

My attention was on Jay, who was stealing glances at Kriti, his expression softening. How his face lit up when Kriti laughed or smiled, though he masked it quickly. How he cared for her, he discreetly handed Kriti his handkerchief when a piece of food fell on her. How he intentionally teased and argued with her, to which Kriti playfully rolled her eyes, unaware of his intentions.

On the other hand, Krish sat beside me quietly, clearly uninterested in their talk.

*AUTHOR'S POV*

Yash bid farewell to Karan at his doorstep, then headed towards his residence, the afternoon sun casting a warm glow.

He stopped on his track when he noticed a small box beautifully decorated on his doorstep with a small on it.

He looked left and right, then checked the surroundings to see who left it there, but there was no one.

"Again?" He sighed.

His eyes narrowed, suspicion creeping in. He cautiously picked up the box in his hand and examined it for clues. The note attached read: 'For Yash, With Love.' His mind racing, Yash wondered if someone was playing some prank on him.

Yash's eyes widened as he uncovered the box. The box was filled with rich, velvety chocolates.

He picked one chocolate unsure if he should eat it or not. Soon the chocolate found itself melting in his mouth.

"It's good. But who made this?" He questioned himself.

He took the box of chocolates and the note with him inside the house. Before closing the door, he once again checked to see if someone was there.

A figure far from his eyes, smiled to itself satisfied. "He ate it." The figure's eyes lingered on his house for some time before leaving from there.

A tiny figure stood alone in the middle of the road, alone, her small frame shaking with sobs. Her face was covered by her tears. Her arms clutching a faded white teddy bear tightly to her chest. Her tiny hands grasped the teddy seeking comfort.

If you get lost somewhere, go to an adult and ask them for help. That's what her parents said to her but when she is lost today, there is no one to help.

"Hey! What are you doing here alone?" She looked at the owner of the voice crying.

"I-I am-m lo-ost." She sobbed.

"Here, take this." He handed her a chocolate ice cream. "Stop crying! I will help you find your parents."

"Really?" He nodded as tears stopped streaming from her eyes.

"Can you open this?" She asked him to open the packet of ice cream.

He sighed. "Give it." She handed him the packet, which he opened and gave her back.

"Let's go!" His small hand held her tiny hand, which was grasping the teddy, while her other hand was holding ice cream.

"How old are you?" He asked as they both walked taking small steps.

"I will turn 7 next month."

"You are a small, little girl." She frowned at the name as they both looked almost the same age.

"How old are you?" She asked.

"Eight." He proudly said.

"You are just one year older than me." Her voice raised. "Then why are you calling me a little girl?"

"You are still small." He teased.

"Lookkkkkkkkk!!! My parents!!! Over there!!!" She exclaimed while pointing at two adults who had concern and fear written on their faces. They were asking others to help.

She left his hand and ran to her parents. "Mummaaa!! Papaaaa!!" Her parents ran to her and embraced her, patting her head as they heard her voice.

"Mera baccha! Are you okay?" Her mother kissed her forehead as tears fell from her eyes.

"Mumma! Don't cry, I am fine." She wiped her mother's tears with her tiny hands. "He helped me; he even gave me an ice cream." She showed ice cream to her mother, who smiled.

"Who helped you, dear?" Her father asked.

"He!" She pointed in one direction, but there was no one standing.

Her eyes wandered here and there to find his sight; however,, there was no one.
