14: Peter
Her Wolf [Teen Wolf]
Sky looks around through all the players after the game in search for Stiles. He still hadn't shown up. Her and Scott make their way through their celebrating team mates and cheering supporters who have ran into and around the team in the locker room.
Sky pushes herself up to her tiptoes, trying to spot her best friend, "Stiles?" she shouts.
"Has anyone seen Stiles?" calls Scott.
Scott turns around and bumps into someone, Sky wincing as she watches him and Allison stare at each other for a moment before she decides to excuse herself to avoid the awkwardness.
Sky hastily steps away, grinning when she spots Ariel with her back to her, seemingly searching for someone. She quickly creeps up behind her, jamming her fingers into Ariels side and laughing when she yelps in shock, spinning around to glare at her.
Ariel pushes her back, "You're such a little shit, Skylar."
Sky snorts, "Yet here you are, looking for me?" she smirks.
Ariel rolls her eyes, "You're insufferable," she mutters.
Sky's smirk slips into a real smile, "We won the game, though," she says, sounding pleased.
Ariel smiles back at her, "You did. You were great," she steps forward, intending to kiss her quickly but pauses and wrinkles her nose. "You're all sweaty," she comments.
"That tends to happen when you exercise."
Ariel steps away, patting her chest, "And you stink," she tells her.
Sky frowns, "No, I don't," she steps toward Ariel, but the girl continues stepping away. "You're being evil again," she accuses.
Ariel's eyes dance with mirth as she moves through the door behind her into an empty locker room, "I would never be evil to you, Skylar," she says with a wry smile.
Sky shakes her head, "That's a lie and you know it --" she pauses when she hears a familiar heartbeat, tilting her head. "Scott?" she wonders, moving into the room.
Ariel looks at her in confusion but follows her to the other side of the lockers, where Scott was staring at Derek,
"-- the hell have you been?" Scott was asking him. "Do you have any idea what's been going on?"
Sky stops next to her brother, "We can't help each other if you keep disappearing," she tells Derek. She frowns when she sees his odd behaviour, becoming wary and pushing Ariel behind her.
They jump when a hand reaches into an open locker in front of them and pulls out a lacrosse stick.
A man now stands next to Derek, his presence radiating power and intimidation that makes them tense in realisation. This was the Alpha, Peter Hale.
"I really don't get lacrosse," Peter drawls holding the stick in his hands.
"It's was you -- " starts Scott, piecing together who he was. Sky clenches her jaw as she stares at the Alpha.
Peter carries on, ignoring him, "When I was in high school, we played basketball. There's a real sport. Still, I read somewhere that Lacrosse comes from native American tribes and that they played it to resolve conflict. I have that right? Hm. I have a little conflict of my own to resolve, Scott, Sky. But I need your help to do it," he tells them.
Sky can't help but let out a low growl as she speaks, "We're not helping you. Not with killing. Not with anything."
Peter tilts his head at her calmly, "Well, I don't want to kill all of them. Just the responsible ones. And that doesn't have to include -- " He looks at Derek for help.
"Allison," he supplies, before glancing at Ariel. "And --"
"Don't you fucking dare!" hisses Sky. Derek pauses, staring her down, but she stares back in challenge.
Scott looks at Derek in disbelief, "You're on his side? Are you forgetting the part where he killed your sister?" he asks.
Derek turns his attention to Scott, "It was a mistake," he answers emotionlessly.
Scott scrunches his face up in confusion, "What?" he says.
Derek shrugs, "It happens."
Sky scoffs, "It happens? It happens?"
Peter looks between them, "Sky, Scott - I think you're getting the wrong impression of us. We really just want to help you reach your full potential." he tells them.
Sky glares at him, "By killing our friends?"
Peter looks at her, "Sometimes the people closest to you - can be the ones holding you back the most," he says, glancing at Ariel.
Sky growls and Scott holds his arm out in front of her as he speaks, "If they're holding us back from becoming a psychotic nut job like you, I'm okay with that," he tells him.
Peter steps forward, flicking his claws out, "Maybe you could try and see things - from my perspective," Without warning, he lunges forward before they could react and sinks his claws into the backs of their necks, causing them to fall and cry out in pain as they're hit with flashes of Peters memories.
Ariel rushes forward as she shouts Sky's name, kneeling beside her. She doesn't even notice the Hales slipping out.
The twins stir a few moments later, opening their eyes with a groan, gold fading to their matching brown.
"Oh, man. Never want to do that again," mutters Sky.
"I'd be worried if you did," Ariel says quietly as she helps her up.
Stiles bursts through the door, "Guys, we have a huge problem," he tells them.
"Really?" Sky says dryly, wincing at the pain in her neck.
Scott glances up at him from where he was pulling himself up, "Trust me - We know."

The next afternoon, Sky was sitting on her bed, cackling at the text message she had just received from Scott. He had gone out to give Allison the necklace back. Allison had thought she had lost it so he was going to pretend he had found it, giving it back to her like he wasn't the thief who took it in the first place. But as it seems, Allison definitely wasn't expecting him whilst she was hanging out in the woods with Lydia, and proceeded to tase him to the ground. That should teach him not to sneak up on a hunter.
Chris Argent had also tried to corner Jackson to question him about the marks on the back of his neck earlier in the day, which meant Sky had to join Stiles and her brother in swooping in and saving him before he could reveal anything.
Sky locks her phone and tosses it to the side when she hears a knock on the door. She listens, hearing a familiar heartbeat. She moves downstairs and swings the door open, smirking at the girl on the other side,
"Hey, pumpkin," she greets.
"Hey," Ariel scrunches up her nose. "Pumpkin?" she questions.
Sky hums, "Yeah, you know," she waves a hand in Ariel's direction. "Orange hair," She bites her lip to keep in her laugh, knowing the effect she was about to have.
Ariel's jaw drops in outrage, narrowing her eyes angrily, "Skylar McCall," she takes a deep breath. "Did you just call my hair orange?"
Sky blinks innocently, "Is it not?" she asks.
Ariel scowls, pushing her into the house, "It's strawberry blonde!" she hisses. "How many times do I have to tell you?"
Sky closes the door, "Oh, sorry. It must have been the way the sun was hitting you," she pauses, unable to stop a snort from slipping through. "Making you shine like the bright pumpkin you are."
Ariel narrows her eyes, "You're treading on thin ice, Skylar," she warns.
Sky spins around, "I'm going to get a snack," she says as she moves toward the kitchen, looking back over her shoulder with a teasing smile. "I'm suddenly craving cheese puffs."
She ducks as a shoe comes flying at her head,
"You better run, McCall."

"Are you still mad at me?"
" ... "
"Seriously?"
"You've brought dishonour on your family --"
"Oh, come on --"
"-- on you--"
"Ariel --"
" -- and on your cow."
Sky groans, looking to the girl who had pointedly ignored her as they watched movies on her bed.
She shuts her laptop, "No more Disney films for you."
Ariel scoffs, "First, she insults my hair. Now, she's taking Disney away from me. What next, sacrificing my first born?" She mutters.
"You're being dramatic," Sky deadpans.
Ariel glares at her, "I'm being deeply affected by your mockery," she corrects.
Sky flops back in exasperation, "Oh, my god, I'm sorry, okay? Can you stop now?" she exclaims.
Ariel puts her hand to her ear, "What was that?"
Sky huffs, "I'm sorry," she grumbles.
Ariel grins, "Thanks. Now, come here."
Sky eyes her suspiciously but moves closer.
"Open your mouth," orders Ariel.
"Why?"
Ariel frowns, "Do you want me to forgive you or not?"
Sighing, Sky opens her mouth wide. Ariel's lips twist into a smirk as she lifts up her hand from the bowl of chips it was in and messily shoves a handful into Sky's face.
Sky splutters, dust and crumbs landing all over her top, "Ariel!" she growls.
Ariel smiles, satisfied, "Okay, now you're forgiven," she tells her.
Sky stands up from her bed, shaking the crumbs onto the floor and wiping her face. She looks down at her top and sighs, moving to retrieve a clean one from her drawers.
After finding one, she pulls her t-shirt over her head and throws it at Ariel. The girl catches it with a smirk as she watches appraisingly.
Sky rolls her eyes, "Perv," she mutters.
"Admirer," corrects Ariel.
Sky smirks, moving closer to her, "Well --" she murmurs, moving herself on top of Ariel and pushing her down. She may or may not have used a little extra strength to pin Ariel's hands down as she wiggles underneath her.
"Sky, get off me, you fat lump -- Ow!" Ariel breaks off as Sky bites her neck, not hard enough to really hurt but enough to leave a mark.
After a few seconds, she moves back and sits up, "Admire that," Sky tells her with a grin.
"You are so dead --"
The bedroom door opening startles them as Allison comes into the room, eyes wide when she sees Sky straddling Ariel with no shirt on.
"Oh!" Allison squeaks. "Sorry. Wrong room," she backs away. "I was looking for Scott," she mutters, shutting the door quickly as she leaves.
Sky blinks, looking back down to Ariel, who stares back for a moment before they burst into laughter.
"I hope we scarred her for life," Sky decides.
Ariel giggles, "She was so embarrassed."
Sky grins, getting up and grabbing her clean t-shirt, slipping it on quickly before sitting back down next to her girlfriend.
She frowns when she sees the mark she made on her neck was bruising already. It wasn't supposed to be that bad.
"I'm sorry, I bit you too hard," she mumbles.
Ariel squeezes her hand, rolling her eyes good-naturedly, "It's okay. Should we go and see what Allison wanted?" she wonders.
"No need," Sky replies, "I can hear Scott talking to her," she tells her. Ariel nods.
Sky picks up her hand, kissing it quickly, "C'mon," she murmurs. "I better walk you out. You have dinner with your mom remember?"
Ariel sighs, "Yeah."
The two get up and make their way out of the door, walking towards the stairs and nearly crashing into Scott.
"What the hell?" asks Sky.
"Peter--" bursts out Scott. "He's taking Mom out for dinner."
The girls widen their eyes, "Is Stiles here?" Sky asks. Scott nods.
Sky pushes him forward, "Well, go! Make a distraction and get her away from him!" she exclaims.
"But Allison's --"
"Screw Allison!" hisses Sky before calming herself. "She's fine. I'll make sure she leaves," she tells him.
Scott hesitates but ultimately goes, rushing to get to Stiles's jeep.
Sky takes a worried breath, "He better make it," she mutters. Ariel rubs her arm reassuringly.
Allison appears in the hallway after a moment, "Hey, guys," She greets as she awkwardly steps out of Scott's room. "Sorry about before," she says.
Sky pauses as she pulls her thoughts from her Mom and remembers what she's talking about, "Oh," she mumbles. "That's fine."
Allison nods, saying a quiet goodbye as she walks past to leave.
Sky's eyes trail after her until she's gone, "Awkward," she whispers.
Ariel clears her throat, "I better go, too. See you tomorrow?" she asks.
"See you tomorrow," Sky sighs, watching her go before scowling to herself. She pulls her phone out to call Scott, wanting to find out where he was heading so she could help, only to receive no reply.

An hour later, Sky got a text from Deaton telling her Scott was hurt, so she immediately rushed to the animal clinic. She walks in to see her brother on the table with a bandaged wound.
Scott starts to stir as Deaton walks in, smiling at them in greeting.
Sky moves to help him sit up, "Where am I -- " he starts to ask.
"Animal Clinic," answers Sky.
Deaton nods, "You're fine. And I've given you something that should speed up the healing process. I also called your sister," he says pointing to Sky. Scott smiles sheepishly at her before looking back to Deaton.
"But you're a vet," he points out, confused as to how Deaton knew about him and why he helped.
"He's obviously a little bit more than that, Scott," mumbles Sky, grabbing Scott's hand and helping him stand up.
Deaton nods, "That's very true -- and 90% of the time, I'm mostly treating cats and dogs," he tells them.
"Mostly?"
"Mostly."
"Awesome!" declares Sky before reaching up and smacking Scott upside the head. He hisses in pain.
"You're such a stupid idiot, getting yourself hurt," she says. "Let's go home. I've had several angry texts off mom about what you did with Peter."
"Great."
