Chapter 11

Jennie's POV

I'm starting to get anxious because it's been days since I've last heard from Lisa. That afternoon where we are supposed to hangout, Lisa didn't showed up, so as Rosѐ and Jisoo. I guess didn't she tell them. Lisa texted me that she has some emergency that day but after that, no more news about her.

"Jennie! Over here!" Rosѐ yelled as soon as I enter the cafeteria. My eyes automatically scanned the place for a certain blonde girl, but she's nowhere to be found. I sighed frustratingly and went towards Rosѐ's.

"What's with the smug face?" Rosѐ asked.

"Yeah right. You look like a mess." Jisoo said worriedly.

"Haven't you seen Lisa yet?" I asked.

"No. She's not even attending our classes." Rosѐ replied.

"What the fuck happened to that monkey? It's been three fucking days! I swear I'm gonna rip out that bangs of her if I see her." I gritted my teeth due to anger.

"Hey calm down. Maybe she's just busy." Jisoo caressed my arm trying to calm my nerves. I smiled at her and nodded in response.

"So, I was thinking about joining a club, do you have any suggestion?" Rosѐ asked.

"Hmm. What do you like the most?" I asked.

"Eating!" She replied confidently. I laughed at her response, this girl is really something.

"There's no such club where you will just eat Rosie." Jisoo said and pinch the latter's cheek. If I didn't know these two, I'll probably think that they're a couple.

"Tch. Bummer." Rosѐ pouted.

"I wonder what club Lisa will join. She mentioned to me that she's interested in a certain club." She continued.

I think I knew what Lisa is talking about. I closed my eyes and massage my temple trying to remember what club Lisa is pertaining to. But it's no use, I can't still figure it out. I roamed my eyes around the cafeteria hoping that I can find some clues.

A certain poster at the wall caught my attention. I narrowed my eyes as I tried to read it from a distance.

"Dance..." I muttered which caught the attention of the two.

"Are you saying something Jen?" Jisoo asked.

"Dance!" My eyes widened and a wide smile formed from my mouth.

"Dance? What? Do you want to dance?" Rosѐ said with confusion written all over her face.

"No. When is the audition for the dance club?" I asked.

"Uhh... Tomorrow?" Rosѐ looked at Jisoo asking for confirmation about her unsure answer. The latter nodded which made me smirk a little.

"I think I know where to find that monkey." I said and quickly stand up from my seat.

"Yah! Where are you going?" Jisoo shouted.

"Just come with me!" I yelled back. I saw them hurriedly got up from their seats too and run to my direction.

Lisa's POV

"I'm so tired!" I said and lay down the floor with my arms open widely.

I can feel the sweat dripping all over my body. My shirt is also soak in sweat and since I am the only one who is here at the dance studio, I decided to take it off for a moment.

It's been days since I started practicing here and today I need to work double because tomorrow is the audition for the dance club. When I told my parents about the club, they instantly rent this studio for me. But little they did not know, I haven't been attending my classes.

Aside from the fact that I don't want to mess up my performance this coming audition, I also been avoiding any interaction from Jennie that's why I don't go to school. I've been trying to ease up my mind by neither seeing nor talking to her. Because if I didn't take a break from her, I might ended up to be one of her most hated person.

I glanced at my phone which is unexpectedly quiet today. The three girls have been continuously spamming me, especially that kitten. She even threatened to rip my bangs out. I must really got her mad. But I'm just doing this for our own good.

"Holy mother of Jisoos!"

I was startled by a high pitch voice whose owner is no other than, chipmunk. But what shock me the most is that, she's not alone. The three of them looked at me with wide eyes before flashing a knowing smirk out of their mouth.

"What a nice body you got there Manoban!" Jisoo wiggled here eyebrows.

"Yeah. Look at those abs." Jennie said. It is just my imagination or did her eyes really turned dark for a split second?

"I've seen that body of yours every morning but I'm still amazed." Rosѐ said which made the two look at her with their jaw dropped.

"What? We've been jogging every morning and she's always wearing a sports bra as her top." She continued.

"Yah! What the heck are you doing here? How did you guys even know that I am here?" I quickly putted my shirt back on.

"Why are you getting dress? Yah. You're ruining the view." Jisoo said.

"You sounded like a gay." Jennie said. Disgust is written all over her face before pointing back at me.

"And you!" She went towards me wearing her deadly glare.

"Ouch! You're hurting me Nini!" I yelled as this kitten pinch my ear so hard.

"That's still not enough for ditching me and for not answering my calls." She said and let go of my ear. I looked at the mirror and saw my ear is slowly turning red.

"I thought you're going to rip out her bangs?" Jisoo said casually which made me gulped.

"Oh right, thank you for reminding me." Jennie said and was about to reach for my bangs but I quickly shielded my forehead with my both hands.

"No no no. Not the bangs!' I yelled which made the three of the burst out in laughter. I breathed deeply, I was relieved because I really thought Jennie would do such a thing.

"Oh God. You're really funny." Jennie said while wiping out a tear because of her laughing so hard. I offered her her my unused water bottle which she gladly accepted.

"So, care to explain how you guys find me?" I asked once again as soon as the sound of their laughter died.

"Ask Jennie." Jisoo said, still catching her breath.

"Yeah. She's the one who drag us here." Rosѐ said. I looked back at Jennie and waited for her response.

"Okay. Since you've been MIA for three fucking days, I was starting to get anxious I've been looking for you everywhere. I even went to your house but every time I got there, your always not home. I'm starting to get worried. But when Rosѐ mentioned earlier at the cafeteria that you've been interested at joining a certain club, which is the dance club, and knowing that the audition is tomorrow, it crossed my mind that you must been preparing for your performance so I quickly drag them here since this is the only dance studio I know that is near to your place." Jennie explained.

My jaw dropped at her long-ass explanation. She even said it without breathing. Wow.

"Okay..." I said. I went back to my things and put it inside my bag. I'm done for my practice today.

"So, care to explain why you're not answering my calls and why you're not attending the class?" Jennie said which made me froze in my place.

Fortunately, she's facing my back because if she's not, I'm sure she can see how nervous I am.

"Lisa." She said coldly which made me flinch. Oh no. Just by hearing the tone of her voice I can tell that she's really mad right now.

"I've been busy practicing."

Lie. I was avoiding you.

"Is that true?"

Of course it's not.

I turned around to face her and force myself to drift away the nervousness from my system. I straighten up my posture and let out a confident smile.

"Yes. Why would I lie to you?" I can feel my heart ache for lying to her.

"Yeah right. Anyway, why don't you show us your performance?" Jennie asked. I get my back pack and lean closer to her. I saw her stiffened when her face is just inches apart from mine. Oh, how I love to tease this girl.

"No." I said and pull away, it took me to so much strength to stay on my feet and to control myself from tasting those lips of her.

"Guys? We're still here. We're also your friends." Jisoo said and rolled her eyes on us. I laughed not only by what she said but also because I saw Jennie how dumbfounded she was.

"Y-yah! Where are you going?" Jennie stuttered as she held my hand to stop me from leaving.

"Home. I'm done for today. I don't want to burn out and miss the audition tomorrow."

"No. We're not leaving until you show us your routine." She crossed her arms and put that bitchy look of her to threaten me.

"Stubborn Jennie. Why don't you just wait for tomorrow?" Rosѐ said.

"She's excited to see how good her Lili is. So excited that she cannot calm her ass off." Jisoo said and both of them giggled.

"Will the both-" Jennie haven't finish what she's saying because I lift her up and carry her on my shoulders. I admit, she's kinda heavy for a small bean.

"Yah! Put me down!" Jennie yelled but I chose to ignore her.

"Come on chicken, let's get some ice cream." I said.

"Only if you're paying." She replied.

"Sure. It can also be the way for me to compensate for not talking to the three of you this past few days."

"Yay! Free food!" Rosѐ squealed and been carried away so much that she pulled Jisoo for a hug. I narrowed my eyes when I saw a tint of blush forming at Jisoo's cheeks when the chipmunk suddenly pulled her for a hug. I smell something fishy about this two, but I don't want to assume things, for now.

"Put me down you monkey!" Jennie struggle to get out from my grip. She keeps on hitting my back for me to be force to put her down.

"You'll stop or you wouldn't get any ice cream?" I said in a serious tone. Jennie suddenly fell silent and behave by hearing what I said. I smile widely knowing how much this kitten can't resist her favorite food.

"Look at Jennie, so whipped for ice cream." Jisoo giggled.

"Ice cream monster." Rosѐ said and cling her arm at the latter. Jennie gave the duo a glare which clearly doesn't affect them.
