Chapter 59

Dead?!

Destined with Fate ♡

Author's Pov

The atmosphere in the room was intense, every second ticking by with a weight none of them could ignore. Advika, Vivan, Ranveer, and Agam stood together, their expressions hard, their minds set on one goal—ending Raghav’s game once and for all.

Vivan looked at each of them, his voice firm. “We’re not going in blind. Raghav is expecting Advika alone, which means he’ll have his guard down. That’s our advantage.”

Agam nodded. “We’ll be positioned nearby. The moment things seem off, we step in.”

Ranveer’s fists clenched. “If he lays a finger on my sister—”

Vivan’s eyes burned with a dangerous promise. “He won’t live to regret it.

Ranveer let out a long breath before giving her a look. “Just tell me one thing—why didn’t you ever tell me?”

She bitterly said,“As if you were here to know what is happening in my life".

There was a silence between them some unsaid things of them which are telling something is off in their relationship too.

Agam break the silence and said"We should go now"

With one last glance at each other, they moved.

The trap was set. But none of them knew—they were walking into one too.

The night air was thick with tension, the darkness illuminated only by the dim flickering streetlight near the abandoned warehouse. Advika stood in the center, her fists clenched, her eyes burning with rage as she faced the man who had ruined her life once before.

Raghav smirked, his arms crossed as he leaned against the old wooden crate. "I knew you'd come," he said, his voice laced with arrogance. "You never could resist a fight, could you, Advika?"

Her jaw tightened. "I'm not here to play your games, Raghav."

"Then what are you here for?" He chuckled, stepping closer. "To kill me? Is that what you planned?"

She didn't flinch. "If that's what it takes to end this, then yes."

But before she could make a move, everything changed in an instant.

A sharp whistle echoed through the air, and suddenly, Raghav's men emerged from the shadows. Advika's heart pounded as strong arms grabbed her from behind, twisting her wrists and rendering her motionless.

"Advika!" Vivan's voice roared from the darkness as he and the others rushed in.

The warehouse exploded into chaos.

Vivan lunged at Raghav, his fist connecting with his jaw, sending him stumbling back. Agam and Ranveer fought off the goons, their punches landing with precise force. The clash of fists and grunts of pain echoed through the space, but Advika could only focus on one thing—Vivan.

She struggled against the grip of the men holding her. "Let me go!" she screamed, thrashing against their hold.

And then, Ranveer struck one of Raghav's men, causing a ripple effect that loosened the grip on Advika just enough for her to break free. She ran toward Vivan, just as he turned to her, his hands reaching out.

"Are you okay?" he asked, his voice urgent, scanning her for any bruises.

But before she could answer, her breath hitched—something wasn't right.

She saw it.

The flicker of movement behind Vivan.

The cold glint of metal catching the dim light.

Raghav, lying on the ground, barely conscious, his fingers wrapping around the gun that had fallen beside him.

Everything slowed.

The gun rose, the barrel aimed directly at Vivan's back.

"VIVAN!"

Without thinking, without hesitating, she moved.

A loud bang tore through the air.

Pain—searing, white-hot pain—ripped through her body.

Her vision blurred as she stumbled back, her breath hitching. She barely registered the way Vivan turned, his face draining of color as he caught her in his arms before she hit the ground.

"Advika?" His voice cracked, his hands pressing against her wound, warm blood seeping through his fingers. "No, no, no, stay with me!"

Her lips parted, a weak smile forming despite the agony. "I told you ...till my last breath I will ask for your forgiveness"

Vivan's eyes burned with emotions too raw to name. "Why would you do this?! You—You were supposed to be safe!" His grip on her tightened, as if he could keep her from slipping away.

She let out a weak chuckle, her fingers brushing against his cheek. "Because… I love you."

And then, the world faded to black.

The rhythmic beeping of the monitors was the only sound in the cold, sterile hospital room. Advika lay on the bed, pale, fragile, with wires and tubes connected to her body. The bullet had torn through her, leaving her in critical condition.

Vivan sat beside her, his hands clenched into fists, his jaw tight. He had never felt this helpless before. Advika—the strongest person he knew, the woman who fought against everything thrown her way—was lying there, unmoving.

He reached for her hand, his fingers brushing against her cold skin. "You promised," he whispered hoarsely. "You promised me you'd be fine."

His throat tightened as he watched her, every second stretching into eternity. The doctor had said the next few hours were crucial. He had never prayed for anything in his life, but right now, he'd give anything just to see her open her eyes.

Agam and Ranveer stood outside, watching through the glass window. Ranveer had been quiet. Agam sighed, glancing at Vivan. "He won’t move from there."

Ranveer crossed his arms. "He shouldn’t. She needs him."

Inside, Vivan leaned closer. His voice was low, broken. "I don’t know if you can hear me, but you have to wake up, Advika. Not for me. Not for anyone else. For yourself. You’ve fought so hard. Don’t stop now."

A soft knock at the door made him look up. The doctor walked in, checking her vitals. Vivan's gaze never left Advika.

"She's stable for now," the doctor said, his voice cautious. "But we have to wait."

Vivan gave a stiff nod. He didn’t trust his voice.

The doctor left, and silence settled again.

Vivan exhaled shakily, resting his forehead against her hand. "I love you, Advika. Please... come back to me."

The air inside the warehouse was thick with the scent of blood and sweat. Raghav was barely conscious, his face bruised and bloodied, his body hanging limply from the chains that held him up. His men were lying unconscious or dead around him, victims of Vivan’s wrath.

Vivan stood before him, his eyes dark, devoid of mercy. The man who was always in control, always calm, was nowhere to be seen. This was a different Vivan—a man who had been pushed too far.

He crouched down, gripping Raghav’s hair and forcing him to look up. "You thought you could take her from me?" His voice was eerily quiet, filled with pure, deadly rage. "You thought I wouldn’t come for you?"

Raghav coughed, blood spilling from his lips. He tried to smirk but failed. "She came for me first," he rasped. "I just—"

Vivan slammed his fist into Raghav’s jaw, cutting him off. His knuckles split from the force, but he didn’t care. "She is lying in a hospital bed because of you," he snarled. "Do you have any idea what that means?"

Raghav chuckled weakly. "She wanted revenge, didn't she?"

Vivan's expression turned deadly. "Yes. And now, she'll get it."

He stood up, wiping the blood off his hands onto his shirt. "You’ll stay alive," he murmured, his voice chilling. "But just barely. Because she deserves the final blow."

He turned on his heel, walking towards the exit. Agam and Ranveer were waiting outside.

Agam raised an eyebrow. "He still breathing?"

Vivan gave a cold smirk. "Barely. But Advika will fix that soon."

Ranveer exhaled, glancing at the warehouse. "Let’s just hope she wakes up in time to do it."

The dim light of the warehouse flickered as Raghav, bloodied and bruised, leaned heavily against the wall, struggling to stay conscious. His vision blurred, but he managed to make out some figures and approaching them.He came , his partner in this crime , the main men behind everything. That men's goons captured vivan's mens.

"Get me out of here," Raghav rasped, his voice barely a whisper. The pain in his body was excruciating, but he knew one thing: he had to survive.

The man looked down at him with a cold, calculating expression. "I didn’t expect you to be in this bad of shape," he said, his tone laced with amusement. "

Raghav's gaze hardened. "Just get me out of here. I’ll repay you, whatever it takes."

The man scoffed, bending down to unchain Raghav. "You better. This is going to cost you."

With a grunt, the man helped Raghav to his feet, supporting most of his weight as they moved quickly toward the back exit. The blood from Raghav's wounds soaked his clothes, but there was no time to care. They had to move fast.

Once they reached the car, the man threw open the door, shoving Raghav into the seat. He slammed the door shut and slid into the driver's seat, starting the engine with a roar. The tires screeched as they sped out of the warehouse, leaving behind the destruction and chaos Vivan had wrought.

Raghav let his head rest against the seat, his mind racing. "Vivan's coming for me," he muttered, the words bitter in his mouth.

The man glanced over, a dark smile crossing his face. "Vivan’s a fool. You think he can stop you now? We’ve got plans—bigger than his petty revenge. You’ll be fine."

But Raghav’s eyes were distant. He wasn’t sure about anything anymore. The man had helped him escape, but the path ahead was uncertain. Vivan, Advika... all the people he had wronged were closing in. And no matter how far he ran, he knew the consequences were only just beginning.

As the car sped down the empty road, the low hum of the engine and the occasional screech of tires were the only sounds that filled the air. Raghav's mind was still clouded with pain, but just then the mystery men's phone buzzed Without a word, he reached over and picked it up, swiping to answer.

Raghav glanced at the phone, his curiosity piqued. He had a feeling this call was important, though he didn’t know why. The mystery man’s expression was unreadable as he placed the phone to his ear and listened.

“Yeah?” the mystery man said, his voice low.

On the other end of the phone, the voice was frantic, filled with emotion and barely contained panic. “Raghav... it's over. Advika... she’s gone. She... she didn’t make it. She’s dead.”

The words hit Raghav like a sudden blow to the chest. For a moment, time seemed to stop. His heart skipped a beat. “She’s gone?” he repeated, his voice coming out hoarse, the shock making his mind spin.

The mystery man turned his eyes to Raghav, sensing the change in him. The call continued, but Raghav’s focus was entirely on the words he had just heard. Advika, the one person who had stood in his way, had finally lost. She was dead.

Raghav let out a shaky breath, almost a laugh, but it came out more like a gasp. “She’s... dead?” he asked again, as if he couldn’t quite believe it. But deep down, the satisfaction was already sinking in.

“Yes,” the voice on the other end confirmed. “She took her last breath. It's all over.”

Raghav’s lips slowly curled into a smile, but it was dark and twisted. The relief in his body was instant, like a weight had been lifted off him. Advika, the woman who had been a constant thorn in his side, the one who had fought so fiercely—was gone. Finally.

“She's really gone,” Raghav muttered under his breath, his voice a mix of disbelief and satisfaction.

The mystery man glanced at him, noting the sudden shift in Raghav’s expression. The man had seen many sides of Raghav, but this? This was something different. Something darker. There was no more fear in Raghav now. No more anxiety. He was free.

“Finally,” Raghav said again, his voice is steady now. “She thought she could take everything from me. Thought she could play her little revenge game. But in the end... I’m the one who won.”

The voice on the other end continued, but Raghav wasn’t listening anymore. He was lost in his own thoughts, replaying the events that had led to this moment. Advika was dead.

As the car continued down the dark road, Raghav let the reality of the situation settle in. He had won. And nothing—nothing at all—could stop him now.

Is this the end?!!!!!
