Chapter 3186

Lucas hung up the phone, and her eyes suddenly moistened.

Hazel stood next to Lucas and asked, “Lucas, what’s wrong?”

Lucas: “My mother passed away. You go play with your elder brother and the others! I’ll go to the

hospital.”

Hazel: “I’ll accompany you! Auntie was fine just now; why did she leave suddenly?”

The two walked towards the car, completely forgetting about Hayden and Joanna.

Hayden and Joanna felt a little embarrassed when they saw them getting into the car and leaving in a

hurry.

Joanna: “Husband, let’s go to the hospital to check it out! It seems that Lucas’s mother passed away.”

Hayden: “Yeah.”

The two stopped a car on the side of the road and followed Lucas’s car.

Lucas rushed to the hospital and first saw the doctor and Mr. Hogan.

Mr. Hogan said in a flattering tone, “Lucas, I originally came to the hospital to see your mother, but

Lucas: “Are you sure she was dead before you came? I was here today, too. When I came to see her,

she was clearly alive!”

Mr. Hogan: “Everything I say is true! If you don’t believe me, ask the doctor!”

“I don’t ask the doctor!” Lucas said this and looked at the nurse huddled in the corner. “Aunt Boily, how

did my mother die? Was it before he came here or after he came?”

The nurse was so frightened that she didn’t know what to say.

Mr. Hogan glared at the nurse angrily: “My son asked you, what are you talking about? When I came

here, I didn’t see you at all! Are you hiding and playing outside?”

The nurse immediately answered Lucas: “When your father came, I went to the water room to fetch

water. I didn’t see when your father came nor when your mother passed away. I’m sorry! I don’t want

this month’s nursing fee!”

After the nurse finished speaking, she quickly left the ward.

Lucas took a deep breath and walked to the bedside.

Isabela’s body was still warm, but she would never be able to open her eyes again.

“Lucas, don’t be sad. Your mother has been living in pain since she got sick. Now that she’s gone,

maybe it’s a relief for her!” Mr. Hogan comforted Lucas.

“What nonsense are you talking about?” Lucas roared, “Get out right now! I don’t want to see you! My

mother doesn’t want to see you either!”

Mr. Hogan: “Why are you yelling at me? It’s not me who killed your mother. Your mother died of illness,

and it had nothing to do with me!”

“Why did you come to the hospital? My mother doesn’t want to see you at all! You are definitely the one

who made my mother so angry!” Lucas said angrily, “Get out of here right now! If you don’t get out,

don’t blame me for attacking you!”

Mr. Hogan was afraid and immediately took two steps back: “Don’t I want to help your mother handle

her funeral? If you don’t need my help, forget it! After your mother’s funeral is settled, I will talk to

Hazel’s family to meet.”

“Get out!” Lucas yelled.

Mr. Hogan exited the ward.

Hayden and Joanna happened to come over.

Mr. Hogan looked at them both and quickly recognized Hayden.

“You are Hazel’s brother Hayden, right? Hello, I am Lucas’s biological father.” Mr. Hogan reached out to

shake Hayden’s hand.

Hazel heard the sound and immediately ran outside the ward.

Hazel said, “Brother, please ignore him!”

Hayden nodded, then passed Mr. Hogan and walked to Hazel.
