Callum's POV

I arrived at Natalia's house and rang the doorbell. The kind old lady opened the door and smiled at me.

"Good day ma'am." I said politely and she smiled even wider.

"I'm glad you're here. Natalia is up in Skylar's room!" She said enthusiastically.

I thanked her and went up the stairs.

I paused in front of Skylar's room door and before I could do anything, it went opened.

"Callum!" Skylar greeted smiling. I smiled back at her, both hands in my pants' pockets.

"Where's Natalia?" I asked.

"She's in my bathroom." She replied sheepishly and I raised an eyebrow at her.

"I'd like to see my mate." I said curtly and she pushed me out the door.

"She'll meet you downstairs okay? Just give her sometime to calm her wrecking nerves." She said and quickly went in before shutting the door on my face.

I stared at the door speechless at her outrageous behaviour.

'Mate, mate. We need to see our mate.' Azure danced in my head and I sighed.

I stood at the door for what felt like hours before I heard approaching footsteps and my mates peculiar scent.

The door opened and my eyes fell on my mate. She looked smaller. Her beautiful brown orbs seemed a thousand shades darker. She also added more weight or maybe it was the baggy shirt she had on that got me wrong.

She wasn't looking at me. She seemed scared.

Why was she scared though? Did she think I'd snap at her for abandoning me for three months?

As much as I wanted to snap at her right now, I was happy to see her. I've missed my dear mate.

"Lia." I whispered and held her chin up so she was staring at me. I felt those familiar, sweet sparks at our contact.

"My baby Lia." I said watching her eyes start forming tears. I pulled her into my embrace, taking in every breath of her heavenly scent. For some reason it seemed stronger.

"I... I'm sorry Cal. I'm really sorry. I shouldn't have... I'm so sorry, I was ju-"

"Shhh, that's alright baby. You don't have to explain right now. It's alright. Just calm." I said patting her silky hair softly.

She was holding onto me real tight as if never wanting to let go. Her tear streaked face was now nuzzling on the crook of my neck.

I missed her a lot and it seemed she felt the same.

Pulling her away from me carefully, I wiped her now puffy cheeks and she pouted cutely.

Damn she was so cute

I crashed my lips on hers, kissing her hungrily. Every single moment now I wanted to savour.

After we pulled apart to catch our breaths, she gave me the most shocking news ever.

"I'm pregnant."

I didn't let my mate spend any more second in her house cos I took her back home.

Mom and Angeline were at the front porch waiting for us.

"Oh Talia!" They yelled each taking turns to hug Natalia.

We went in after minutes of hugging and crying and I just watching them, smiling.

Asher and Caleb also took turns to hug Natalia.

'Alpha, Lucas finished him off.' Asher told me through our mind link and I nodded.

It was good to know that hypocrite Sebastian was now gone from our lives and wouldn't cause trouble for my mate.

*Two months Later.....

It was another beautiful morning and I woke up to see my beautiful mate sleeping beside me. I cupped her warm cheeks and she fluttered her eyes open.

"Good morning beautiful." I said smiling.

"Morning handsome." She replied and we both laughed.

We both got up and I looked at her worriedly.

"Are you sure you're okay?" I said. She nodded and immediately went into the toilet.

I've been noticing changes in her like her slow movement, morning sickness, fatigue and she became very picky with food. She'd have weird cravings and request for me to make them.

As much as I was looking forward to being a father, I hated the processes. But it was very nice caring for my mate.

"Don't come back home late today." She said for the eighteenth time today while adjusting my tie.

"Don't worry baby. I'll be back early. Otherwise who'll care for you and our little one?" I said and placed a kiss on her lips before leaving.

"Take care." She called after me.

"Sure."

After the meeting with a neighboring pack's Alpha, I shook hands with him ready to leave when my Beta called me.

"Yes Ash?"

"Alpha. The Luna went into labour." He said rushed and my eyes widened.

"What? Okay I'll be right there." I said and sped off in my car.

I got to my pack soon and went straight to the pack's infirmary.

"Cal." My mate breathed on seeing me entering the ward.

"Alpha you're here." Doc Pedro said. "We're getting ready to deliver the baby." He finished and I nodded.

I was more worried about Natalia who was finding it hard to breath. I couldn't bear seeing my mate in so much pain.

In a few hours, the baby was finally born.

My heart was filled with a new emotion on the sight of my tiny baby boy. He looked so small and cute. A child so full of innocence.

My mate was moved back home the following day and a party was set to be held in two weeks to celebrate the birth of my son who we named Liam.

A mixture of mine and Natalia's name.

I didn't think having a baby could bring so much happiness to the entire family. He was a child everyone loved.

It was the welcoming party of Liam and everyone was eating, drinking and dancing. Having the best time of their lives.

The party stretched from afternoon till dusk and yet guests were still aplenty.

I was talking to some guests from other Packs while discreetly searching for my mate. I really needed to see her right now.

"Thank you gentlemen." I concluded the conversation and left after seeing Natalia talking to mom and Skylar.

"Hey girls." I beamed and took a sleeping Liam from Natalia. Mom was watching me, smiling.

"Callum hey." Skylar greeted back.

"You done with talking to your guests?" Natalia asked and I hummed. I handed the baby over to mom and blew her a kiss before pulling my mate away.

"Cal, were are you taking me?" Natalia whined and I pulled her closer to my body.

"You'll find out." I whispered in her ear.

When we were away from the crowd, I scooped her up in my arms, bridal style and smirked as she gripped my shoulders, worried I might drop her.

"Cal what's this?"

"Hush baby." I placed a chaste kiss on her lips as I walked into the house and led us straight to our room.

I dropped her on the bed and caressed her soft hair.

"Let's have some fun baby." I whispered in her ear and she pushed me away while sitting up on the bed.

"Seriously Cal? We've got guests downstairs." She said panicked.

"And who cares? They're celebrating our baby. We might as well make another one." I said and pinned her on the bed and kissed her passionately.
