"I'm married, asshole."

"It doesn't mean you're not allowed for bromance," Sidharth said with a mischievous grin, attempting to embrace Naksh once more.

"What the heck is wrong with you?" Naksh shouted, pushing him away in frustration.

"I'm gay for my life saviour," Sidharth shot back defiantly.

Janvi and Shivay were thoroughly enjoying the unfolding drama, seemingly content to just watch as spectators. Aahan, on the other hand, remained focused on his little one, indifferent to the pointless commotion.

Left with no other choice, Pihu stepped in, outraged by her husband's discomfort.

"Even if Naksh were interested, he'd have far better options than you with his striking looks. But he's not, so keep your distance from my husband, unless you want another visit to the haunted house without your 'life saviour'," she warned, fixing an icy glare on Sidharath.

At the mention of the 'haunted house,' Sidharth backed off from Naksh, a flicker of fear appearing on his face.

"Quite possessive, aren't we?" mocked Shivay and Janvi, breaking into laughter, but Pihu paid them no mind as if they weren't even there.

"You're the cruellest," Sidharth muttered, walking alongside Shivay.

Pihu couldn't help but smile as she replied, "Believe me, you've only seen a fraction of my cruelty."

Pihu felt a strange sensation near her neck, making her turn around to find her husband staring at her with a self-satisfied grin.

"What's up with you?" she inquired.

"You called me handsome. I mean, I know I am, but coming from you, it's like the cherry on top," he responded with a mischievous smile.

Pihu rolled her eyes in exasperation. "And I thought you had a little brain cell because I said those things to protect you," she retorted.

Her husband simply pretended not to hear her, wearing a playful smile on his face.

Pihu couldn't help but quietly mutter "idiot" under her breath as she walked beside Janvi. As she approached Janvi, she immediately noticed that Janvi's phone was incessantly ringing, signalling an incoming notification.

"New lover boy, huh?" Pihu teased, glancing mischievously at Janvi.

"Nope. My father has been nagging me since morning," Janvi responded irritably, although there was a hint of something different in her tone. Pihu studied Janvi's face for a moment and then suggested with a smile, "Just put the phone on mute." She nodded encouragingly.

Meanwhile, Aahan sat calmly next to Mrunali, exchanging occasional glances with her as they sat in comfortable silence, whose gaze was fixed on something in the distance. With a resigned sigh, he got up and walked toward the direction Mrunali was staring at, returning with something in his hand which he then passed to her.

Mrunali looked at him with a quizzical expression, her big puppy eyes filled with confusion as she received the bag from Aahan's outstretched hand.

Mrunali's eyes widened in disbelief as she peered into the bag, revealing the delightful surprise of a colourful ice cream that she had been admiring from afar just moments before. Her face lit up with joy, and a grateful smile spread across her lips as she realized Aahan's thoughtful gesture.

Mrunali modestly lowered her head, attempting to conceal her blushing cheeks, while recalling her twin's words: "Aahan is a man of action, not words." And now seeing it from her own eyes, a satisfying wave of pleasure engulfed her heart. She realized that a small act of kindness was worth far more than the empty promises coated in false sweetness.

"Thank you," she whispered softly.

"Eat it before it melts," he said with a faint smile, though it went unnoticed by Mrunali.

As Sidharth caught Mrunali enjoying her ice cream, he shot Aahan a disapproving look and asked, "Why didn't you get some for us?"

"Because she's a girl," Aahan replied nonchalantly.

"Toh ye dono kis angle se mard lagri hai. Inke peda hone pe v doctor ne yehi kaha tha ki ladki hai." He said pointing at Pihu and Janvi.

(So from which angle these two are men? Even when they were born, the doctor had said that it was a girl.)

Aahan brushed off Sidharth's comment as if he hadn't heard it. Meanwhile, Pihu and Janvi, engrossed in listing "100 reasons not to trust men," gave him a look that said, 'Bitch, we don't need a man to buy us ice cream.'

Sidharth was feeling ignored by everyone, and he couldn't contain his frustration. "I...-" he started to say something, but then his phone began to vibrate. He checked the text message and let out an audible growl in annoyance.

"You guys enjoy, I have to go," he said abruptly before swiftly disappearing into the crowd. He didn't bother waiting for anyone to reply because he already knew that nobody cared about his presence.

"Now what should we do?" Janvi asked looking at Mrunali's ankle in concern because Mrunali was very excited about the arcade but now she wasn't able to walk.

After a brief pause, Shivay suggested, "Let's divide into pairs and I think Aahan was capable of taking care of Mrunali. Right?"

Despite his calm tone, there was an unmistakable underlying threat in his words. It was clear that he was conveying, 'Dare to hurt her and you will see worse.'

Shivay was soft-spoken, he would choose peace over violence but that doesn't mean he doesn't know violence. His years of dedication in the gym were not just for show-off. Those veiny hands are capable of choking you to death. Aahan tried to remain poker-faced, but he couldn't shake the unease caused by the hidden threat. 'A calm sea is more scary than a wild one because its unpredictability makes it more terrifying.'

Shivay's suggestion was met with unanimous approval, with nobody raising any objections or proposing a different course of action. Even Pihu, who was not entirely pleased with the pairing, chose not to argue, recognizing Shivay's reputation as a responsible and thoughtful member of the group. It was clear to everyone that when Shivay made a decision, it carried significant meaning and consideration.

As Janvi cleaned her hands with a tissue, walking alongside Shivay, she couldn't help but voice her admiration. "From when did you become this commendable?"

Shivay seemed puzzled. "What do you mean by commendable?"

"You just tell us what to do," Janvi pointed out.

"I didn't exactly give orders; I simply made suggestions. More importantly, it's necessary," Shivay explained.

"In what way?" Janvi's curiosity was piqued.

"Agnihotri's uncle sent us here to strengthen the bond between us, not just to work on a group project. Everyone needs alone time with their partners. We can't keep burdening them with our hospital responsibilities when they have capable sons and daughters," Shivay reasoned, his tone serious.

"I love how you included 'daughters' in the end," Janvi remarked, reflecting a hint of pride in her voice.

Before Shivay could reply to her, a deep, resonant voice called out Janvi's name, causing both of them to turn around. A tall, slim, and well-dressed man walked confidently in Janvi's direction, wearing a broad, warm grin as he approached.

Janvi greeted him and then Shivay got to know that this person was 'Yash'.

While Shivay was not the overly jealous type, he was perceptive enough to recognize this so-called Yash's romantic intentions towards Janvi.

"Long time no see," Yash said while shaking Janvi's hands.

Meanwhile, Shivay, standing in the background, couldn't help but mutter to himself, "If you don't leave her hand in one second you're not gonna be seen for a long time in this world."

"Janvi managed a small smile and gently withdrew her hand from Yash's grip, replying, "It's been quite a while."

Noticing Shivay's presence, Yash inquired, "What are you doing here?"

Janvi gestured towards Shivay and explained, "Oh, I came with him." However, Shivay didn't even attempt to acknowledge Yash with a smile, Greetings are far from expectations.'

Janvi couldn't help but wonder to herself, 'Did he exchange his soul with Bhai Aahan?'

Shivay was taken aback by Janvi's response. He couldn't believe what he had just heard.

'When did his Princess summon the soul of Annabelle?' his inner soul screamed.

"Let's go." Yash beamed in happiness which forced Shivay to think, 'Should I erase his existence?' However, he couldn't bring himself to disagree with Janvi's decision, and he refused to leave her alone with this "beast."

With no other choice, Shivay trailed behind them, feeling like a tiger without its claws.

As Yash and Janvi entered the cafe, Yash took a seat beside Janvi, much to the evident displeasure of Shivay. It was clear that Shivay was struggling to contain his anger to raise his head from his neck as Yash engaged in a flirtatious conversation with Janvi, much to her evident amusement.

Shivay's clenched fists and icy glares spoke volumes about his jealousy, something that Janvi found rather intriguing. She had never seen this side of Shivay before - the usually gentle demeanour was replaced by simmering anger and a palpable intensity. With each glare and every clench of his jaw, she could sense the hidden beast within him. The contrast between his calm exterior and the fiery emotions brewing inside him was both intriguing and intoxicating to Janvi.

Janvi was deeply engrossed in her thoughts when she was abruptly jolted back to reality by an unexpected touch on her shoulder. Startled, she turned to look, only to be further shaken by a loud, jarring bang on the table that reverberated through the cafe, causing her whole body to tense and her heart to race.

Her eyes widened as she locked gazes with Shivay, whose intense stare was filled with a mix of anger and frustration, sending a shiver down Yash's spine. The surroundings seemed to crackle with tension as she watched the muscles in his arms tense and the veins in his fist bulge as he clenched it even tighter.

The untamed beast within Shivay was triggered by Yash's sudden touch on Janvi's shoulder, causing a surge of fear and trepidation to course through Yash as Shivay's anger erupted. It was a terrifying display of unbridled emotion that would have struck fear into anyone's heart, but to Janvi, it ignited something else entirely - a fiery, passionate intensity that she found impossible to resist, especially when it came from Shivay.

"Look, Moron, I don't give a fucking about who you're. But if you even breathe near to my girl, I'm going to shred you into a million pieces. And don't dare to think of it as a warning because it's not, it's a promise to you."

Although the words were spoken in anger, they carried a weighty threat. Shivay's eyes bore into Yash's soul, leaving no doubt about the sincerity of his warning. The intensity of his emotions was evident, as he vowed to take drastic measures if his girl's safety was compromised.

Yash dashed out of the bustling café, desperately attempting to salvage whatever was left of his dignity or perhaps evade a potentially bruising encounter. Meanwhile, Janvi found herself grappling with an overwhelming urge to stifle her laughter, yet her amusement swiftly transformed into sheer astonishment when Shivay ensnared her within the circle of his arms.

With their faces mere centimetres apart, any slight movement threatened to culminate in an unexpected kiss. Janvi's heart fluttered in the face of Shivay's intense gaze, her breath catching in her throat. His warm breath washed over her parted lips, his rhythmic chest gently rising and falling. The scintillating sight left Janvi feeling flustered, rendering her momentarily breathless, all of which she attributed to Shivay's irresistible charm.

This marked the first occasion Shivay had touched her without permission. The intensity of his touch seared her skin, enveloping her heart and body in heat. Her mind was messed up and her heart was pounding in her chest. Her body stopped moving like she was under some magical spell.

Of course, the magical spell is love but her bishy ass will not accept it so let it be.

Shivay inclined his head towards Janvi's ear, their cheeks brushing against each other. Janvi was acutely conscious of the warmth emanating from her cheek as it met his. As the proximity intensified, she felt a sudden dryness in her throat, accompanied by a weakening of her body.

"Is it fun to tease me like this princess?" His voice was low and deep sending shivers down her spine. Out of instinct, she closed her eyes, a gasp left her mouth and she clenched her piece of cloth. This is the first instance where Princess Word isn't associated with feelings of tenderness, reverence, or admiration, but rather intimacy, igniting a warm swirl of heat in Janvi's stomach as her heart rate quickens. She mentally scolds herself for entertaining such filthy thoughts, but the feeling of Shivay's warm breath serves as a persistent reminder that she can't shake off.

Shivay gazed at Janvi, his eyes filled with a mixture of determination and longing, knowing deep down that she may not respond. "I adore you, my Princess, and I treasure every word you utter. But if you continue to play with my emotions in this manner, I wouldn't hesitate to make you Mrs. Wagh in an instant," he declared, his voice unwavering.

Janvi couldn't suppress a nervous gulp, fully aware that Shivay's words were not mere empty promises. Even though Aahan, Naksh, and Vedika had all been subjected to arranged marriages, Janvi was not exempt from her father's expectations. In Mr. Agnihotri's eyes, Shivay seemed to be the most suitable match for her, and there seemed to be no better alternative.

The only thing preventing this inevitable union was Shivay himself, who respected Janvi's aspirations and prevented the marriage from becoming a reality.

With a gentle, swift motion, Shivay released his hold on Janvi, who was still in shock. As he looked at Janvi's face with a smile, he murmured, "Cute"...

"Now let's go, princess. Others are waiting for us," Shivay said calmly.

And here came back gentleman Shivay.

He then went to pay the bill, giving Janvi some time to recover from her shocked state.

Janvi's face was still flushed red as she placed her hand over her chest and muttered, "What the fuck just happened?"
