Chapter 8
The Agnihotri's
"WHAT THE FUCK...?"
"Why is it that everyone in this house yells for no apparent reason?" Janvi asked...
"Maybe Vocal practice..." Pihu said without lifting her head from the documents.
*We should put a warning sign instead of a Nameplate, 'Haunted by shouting ghost'..." Janvi retorted.
Everyone chuckled at her words.
"WHO THE HELL DID THIS?" Sidharth's rage was palpable as he shouted with fury, his eyes bloodshot and a torn piece of fabric clutched in his hand.
"What...?" Naksh asked.
"I will fucking burn that asshole who did this...?" He shouted.
"Janvi, why the hell do you do this...?" Sidharth said again.
"Are you high on your life...? What I did...?" Janvi frowned.
"Pretending to be innocent, Why did you tear my fucking favourite shirt...?" He shouted.
"And why did your shitty mind think it's me...?" she rolled her eyes.
"Who could be a bish in this shitty hole house except you...?"
"What makes you think I'm the only bish in the house...?" She smirked at Sidharth's frowning reaction.
"Did you forget about my bish." She pointed at Pihu, who was looking at Sidharth with a smirk.
" Did you do this...?" He asked while showing his shirt to Pihu.
"Umm..." Pihu squinted her eyes like she was deeply thinking, "Without a doubt, yes!!...'
"Why...?" He was throwing a death glare at her.
Even everyone was confused by her actions... Because Pihu was not someone who played pranks without a reason.
"It's just a mistake..." She shrugged.
"We all know that this could not be a damn mistake..." He said while gritting his teeth.
"Stop being dramatic, Sidharth... Your rich ass can buy thousands of this type of shirt, and if your rich ass is frozen, I will buy you the same shirt... Stop being a crybaby..."
As soon as those words fell from her mouth,
Sidharath froze at his place, Naksh's jaw touched the ground while others' eyes turned wide in shock...
Pihu doesn't only take revenge but she takes revenge for Naksh's favourite broken cup...
"I didn't do it for you, so don't look at me like that," Pihu said, gazing at Naksh.
She then moved over to Sidharth and said in a cold voice, "Your pea-sized brain should learn the difference between things and favourite things. You and your shitty rich self can buy a million of the same fucking things, but you can't buy the emotions behind your favourite things. That cup was a gift for his mother, and you broke it without apologizing. So, be mindful from now on."
As she was leaving, she turned around and warned, "If you make this crappy mistake again, it will be you who will be torn apart, not just your shirt."
Sidharth's shocked expression transformed into a sly grin, "It flutters my heart to know that Pihu knows my favourite things."
"Pihu Naksh Agnihotri, grave those words inside your shitty brain..."
"My twin is such a badass," Mrunali remarked, to which Janvi responded with a smirk,
"Of course, Bish blood runs through our veins."

Mrunali was eagerly preparing herself for a long-awaited dinner with Aahan. She had donned her favourite casual attire, styled her hair, and put on the finishing touches of makeup when she heard two distinct coughs. As she turned around, she noticed Pihu and Janvi standing by the door, wearing big grins on their faces and playful smirks playing on their lips. It was evident that they were in a teasing mood.
"Are you going somewhere, Miss Mrunali...?" Janvi asked, teasingly.
"I'm going out for dinner with Aahan..." Mrunali replied honestly.
"Ohh!! A date is it...?" Janvi teased again.
Mrunali blushed a little, hearing Janvi's words, "Not a date, just a dinner..."
"It's going to be only you and your fiancé. How is it different from a date...?" Janvi asked.
"B-b-uhh... Hmm..." Mrunali stuttered, unable to answer Janvi's question, and her cheeks turned crimson red in embarrassment.
"A date is a date. Now stop teasing her, Bish. It's just a dinner out with her fiancé, right, twin...?" Pihu's words sounded like she was defending Mrunali, but her words were not far from teasing.
"Okay okay... But still don't you think this attire is too odd for your dinner out..? She said the last word mockingly.
"What there is odd about this...? I like these clothes, they're comfortable..." Mrunali pouted.
" Twin, my my my sweet twin, it's dinner out with your fiance," Pihu smiled sweetly but then her smile turned into a straight face, " not dance practice with your friends..."
"Right... Even though I don't like fancy clothes, still I know people don't wear a tank top and cargo Jeans on their date..." Janvi replied.
"Wow, you're insulting my style..." Mrunali pouted.
"Let's Pihu help you and prepare a surprise 'little one' to give cardiologist Aahan Agnihotri a mini heart attack," Janvi said excitedly.
Mrunali chuckled at her words while Pihu joined in with a light laugh.
After an hour of struggle, finally, Mrunali's look was ready...
"Puppy, forget about my brother... Just marry me..." Janvi said staring at Mrunali's new look.
"I wish too but I don't want to be the villain in Shivay brother's love story..." Mrunali jokingly said.
Pihu laughs at their dramatic ass...
"Wow... It's me...?" Mrunali blinked many times looking at herself in the mirror...
"Nahh! It's mirror playing a prank with us..." Janvi replied sarcastically.
"Stop being a bish..." Pihu said while rolling her eyes.
"It's funny when it's coming from another bish..." Janvi retorted.
"You both really have magic..." She replied while tilting her head left and right.
"It's not magic twin, it's your beauty..." Pihu said.
"Now go downstairs... I don't want my brother to get a heart attack by waiting before seeing his mini bomb..."
Mrunali blushed at her words while Pihu chuckled.
(Aahan POV)
As I sat in the living hall, I found myself growing increasingly impatient for Mrunali to arrive. I had been waiting for what felt like an eternity, and I couldn't help but wonder what was taking her so long. I knew that I couldn't go to dinner alone, so I resigned myself to waiting and hoping that she would arrive soon.
Just as I was growing restless, I heard the telltale click-clack of heels coming from the stairs. My heart leapt with excitement - finally, she was here! I turned to face her,
But when I laid eyes on her, my jaw dropped to the floor. I was completely and utterly stunned. "Holy SHIT..." I couldn't believe how stunning she looked. Her clothes hugged her perfect figure in all the right places, and she looked absolutely breathtaking.
I couldn't take my eyes off her, and I felt my knees go weak. I was completely mesmerized by her, and I couldn't help but stare. It was as if I was under a spell, and everything around me faded into the background.
The only thing that mattered at that moment was her - her beauty, her grace, and her presence. I felt like the luckiest person in the world to be able to witness such a breathtaking sight.
"Brother, you're looking stupid with your opened mouth..."Â Naksh spoke near my ear which startled me a little...
I cleared my throat before speaking, " I was not staring at her..."
"But I never talk about staring..." Naksh said with a shit-eating grin on his face.
'I'm doomed...'
"Whatever..." I said without even looking at his face...
As I approach Mrunali, I notice the anxious look on her face. Without hesitation, I gently take her hand and lead her out of the hall. I don't look back, as I don't want to embarrass myself any further in front of the others.
As we both make ourselves comfortable in the car, I feel a rush of adrenaline coursing through my veins. I try to take a deep breath to calm myself down, but my eyes are immediately drawn towards the person sitting next to me.
She is stunningly beautiful, with a face that seems to have been sculpted by the gods themselves. I feel my heart racing in my chest, beating so loudly that I worry she might be able to hear it.
The intensity of my feelings catches me off guard, leaving me flustered and unsure of what to do next.
"What are you thinking, Aahan?" She asked in a small voice, maybe she was nervous under my intense stare.
"Apki khubsurti Jayda manmohak hai ya apki aadayien..."
(your beauty is more mesmerizing or your way...)
Those words fell from my mouth without my knowing... 'Fuck my life, I'm a Cardiologist who can't even control his own heart'
"Thank you..." She softly smiles at me.
'shit!!... I'm dead...'
I just gave her a small smile and started the car before I spoke something which cost my self-respect.
(Author Pov)
Mrunali and Aahan sat across from each other in the cosy Italian restaurant. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with soft lighting and the gentle hum of conversation all around them. Aahan couldn't help but feel grateful for the opportunity to spend this time with his little one.
"So, how was your day, little one?" Aahan asked, trying to break the silence.
"It was good," Mrunali replied with a smile.
"I'm glad to hear that. You look stunning tonight, by the way," Aahan said, his eyes lingering on her.
Mrunali blushed at the compliment. "Thank you, you look pretty handsome yourself," she replied, and Aahan couldn't help but smile.
As they perused the menu, Aahan couldn't help but feel a sense of contentment wash over him. Being with Mrunali always made him feel at ease, and now he couldn't imagine spending his life with anyone else.
"Good evening sir and Ma'am..." A waiter greeted them.
"What should I order, Aahan...?" Mrunali asked.
Before Aahan could reply, the waiter beat him and said,
"A beautiful lady like you, order something sweet like you..."
"Thank you," Mrunali said missing the flirty eyes on her...
"Ohh!! You should order thing..." He bends A little more towards Mrunali.
Mrunali awkwardly smiled at the sudden closeness, feeling a little uncomfortable.
"IF YOU'RE F*CKING DONE, THEN CAN I TAKE MY LADY FOR MYSELF... OR DO YOU WANT ÎΠΤΠPUT A SIGN UP FOR YOUR DESPERATE BLIND EYES THAT SHE IS MINE..." Aahan said firmly, his tone leaving no room for argument.
The waiter nodded, seeming a little taken aback by Aahan's assertiveness. He tremble in fear, so he quickly took their order and left them alone.
Mrunali can feel butterflies in her stomach when Aahan called her 'My lady...'
Mrunali breathed a sigh of relief, grateful for Aahan's protectiveness. She turned to him and smiled.
"Thank you for standing up for me," she said softly.
"Always, little one," Aahan replied, taking her hand in his.
They enjoyed their dinner together, chatting and laughing, and Mrunali forgot all about the waiter's unwanted attention.
After they placed their orders, they settled into the conversation, talking about their hopes and dreams for the future. They laughed and joked, sharing stories and making plans for their life together.
Mrunali is taken aback by Aahan's unprecedented behaviour. Normally, Aahan is reserved and distant, but today, he is unexpectedly talkative.
Mrunali can't help but feel a warm sensation in her heart at the thought of this sudden shift in his demeanour. As they spend more time together, Mrunali finds herself growing increasingly comfortable in Aahan's presence.
As the night wore on, Aahan found himself more comfortable with Mrunali. He felt grateful for every moment they spent together and knew that he would cherish this dinner date forever...
Their dinner out was simply perfect, without any cliches or awkward moments. They both felt comfortable with each other and opened up, sharing stories and insights that gave them a glimpse into each other's lives. As they finished their meal and the night began to draw to a close, they couldn't help but feel that this evening was the start of something new.
Maybe, just maybe, this was the beginning of a new chapter in their lives.

Sidharth stood motionless at the edge of the rooftop, his gaze fixated upon the darkening horizon. The ember of his cigarette glowed brightly in the dimming light as he took a long drag, exhaling a thick cloud of smoke into the chilly evening air.
His eyes were distant and cold, devoid of any emotion as he replayed the scene in his mind. It was a memory of a girl, a lady, enjoying her meal at a restaurant, her voice laced with laughter as she chatted away. Aahan, the man beside her, gazed at her with a deep fondness in his eyes.
Sidharth scoffed at the memory, muttering under his breath in a voice that dripped with danger.
"Just a matter of months, my love, and you will be mine."
