Chapter 16

Her Life with the Prince (Completed)

XV

I woke up when I heard a man's voice. A very angry man's voice. I tried to open my lids but sleep eating the half of my body. He continued to talk about plane tickets, flights and likewise. His sexy voice made my body trembled in every word he said.

I remembered that he was Prince Alexander when the other half of my body finally escaped its sleepy form. Blinking eyes, I looked at him with some curiosity and irritation. He interrupted my sleep, for sun's sake!

We were still in his black Ford, and parked somewhere I did not know. When I realized I was with him in the middle of the night in a very dark road in the country I was only new, I freaked out. I attempted to unlock the door, but it was only an embarrassment to say that I failed to open it.

"Hey," I froze when I heard he spoke for the very first time after I finally woke up from my sleep. I slowly looked at him and gulped. "What are you doing?" he asked, his forehead's skin almost glued to each other.

"Opening the car," I answered, my hands behind me still trying to crack the lock.

"You can't lock that door that way because it has a child lock," he responded, then started the engine again and all I knew was we were on the road again.

"Where are we going?" I never expected that my voice would sound so weak.

"In the place you will enjoy so much with this bastard," he pointed himself and returned driving.

I glared at him. Before I could protest, the view of the airport got my attention. It cannot be. I had no idea how long I gawked in the big airplanes inside the fence, when we stopped suddenly, joining the long line of cars entering the airport.

I panicked. After our kiss earlier, it did not mean that we were already in a relationship. I should not go outside the town with him alone. I was scared what he could do to women like me. I would never forget everything he could do to satisfy his body's call.

"It's kidnapping," I stated without giving him any glance.

I heard his smile in his every word, "What are you saying?"

"Open this door," I composed myself before false bravery filled my face, "I can ride a taxi to return in the Palace. Or else, I'll call the police and tell them that Prince Alexander abduct me. I'm sure you will be in the headline again tomorrow morning."

"Okay, call them," he simply agreed, so I doubted what he had said.

Since I was still wearing the red dress–Princess Victoria bought for me–my mobile was placed in a small pouch. When I opened this, I knew I was right in my thought with Prince Alexander. The only thing I had in the pouch was my cell phone, and now, the elegant white purse was empty.

"Where is it?" I gritted my teeth. I was thinking the possibility of what I should do with this Prince. First, I would strangle him. Ever since in the restaurant, I had wanted to do that to him. Second, I would kick him in his very sensitive part so he could not do his thing to me, also to stop him from doing that to other women. Third, I would crash the window, and escaped through it. I did not care if it would give me wounds. Lastly, I would do all these three.

"It is in good hands now," his false sympathy made me want to vomit all the gas in my stomach and spit it on his face. When this person was kissing me, he was the only handsome man in the world for me. But when he was irritating me, all I wanted to do was to punch his face, although I still found him so hot when he was annoying me.

The greatest idea I thought in my entire life crossed my mind. "If you don't open this door, I'm going to shout outside," I clicked a button that made the glass window of the nearest door to me went down.

I kneeled on my seat. Preparing to peek outside when I felt his warm hand on my wrist. Without any piece of warning, he pulled me toward him until my upper body rested on his wall-like form. My other hand held his shoulder for support. He removed his grasp on my wrist and wrapped it on my waist so he could pull me closer to him.

I felt his breathing synchronized with mine once we were only an inch apart. The peeks of our noses touched and even though, we already kissed twice, it seemed like the bubble of the first timer erupted in all my veins.

"Just three days...with me," he breathed and minutes passed by before I recognized his meaning. I thought, it was for his mistress, why he was inviting me now.

"Why?" I did not know if I was still calm, or, panic already dominated my feelings.

"You'll see," he touched my cheek and drew me near to him when the sound of horns exploded outside. I pushed him, and sat properly in my seat. He frowned and shook his head before continuing to follow the car in front of us.

I had no idea which side I belong. The first side agreed that I should go with him, while the other told me otherwise. My brain told me to stop hallucinating about him because it was dangerous. However, I had a heart that was made of cotton that only accepts what this Prince wanted to do to me.

When the car stopped at the main entrance of the airport, I finally decided what I would do.

Before he could remove his seatbelt, I held his shoulder and spoke, "I'll come with you, but you must agree with my rules."

He grinned. "Tell me the rules."

I took a deep breath and raised my pointing finger. "First, we won't share the same bed," add another finger, "Don't kiss me while we are alone in that place," one more finger, "Third, don't walk around when you wear nothing," I blushed, "I mean, always wear your proper clothing," my pinky finger joined, "Lastly, don't take advantage when I am sleeping." I crossed my arms, "You understand?"

He raised an eyebrow. "I think I can't do all of your rules."

"Your Highness, it's take it or leave it with me."

He shrugged. "Fine."

We boarded in an airplane, sitting in the first class. This was my second time to feel the comfort given in the first class. The first time I rode here was when I went to England to start my job. I was like a kid, back then, enjoying all the drinks, except alcohol because I wanted to meet my boss in a very clear mind.

However, it seemed like I was not in the right mind when I met him in front of the airport.

Even though it was still dark, Prince Alexander wore his sunglasses. This was just a protocol. To keep himself in the eyes of the media who were looking for new issues to put on his face.

We seated apart. There were three rows separating us. I did not know the real reason why our seats were in a different line. Maybe tickets sold out, and these were the two only seats available.

I did not notice that an elderly woman sat next to me because I was busy looking outside the window. I just acknowledged her presence when she said.

"Oh, I thought you were Princess Emily," I suddenly looked at her. She was not the only one who found that the future Queen and I had some identical angles.

I recalled when Princess Emily was first introduced as Prince Nicholas' fiancé, there were people–mostly strangers–told me that Princess Emily and I looked alike. I was flattered, of course, because of my comparison to a very prominent person. I did not know our similarities besides to our same dark-brown hair. Her eyes were lighter blue than mine were. Moreover, her remaining features were better than what I had.

I smiled at her. "Thank you, but the Princess might get angry to be compared to me."

She raised both her hands in defense. "You're wrong, the Princess will be proud if she'll know that I was mistaken a pretty girl like you to be her."

I laughed and could not stop my blood from creeping on my cheeks. "She is prettier."

"Ugh, no, you're both pretty," she smiled and returned her attention to the elderly man next to her. I concluded that he was her husband.

I came back to my activity earlier, looking at the other passengers outside who rode their airplanes. I tried not to think about my similarities to Princess Emily, but it really gave me a sort of cautiousness. My instinct told me that there was something wrong, and I did not mind it at all once the flight began..
