Chapter 11-Tea with Milk

After the unfamiliar voice spoke I blanked out, passing out. 'Ow my body hurts like hell-' I tried to scratch my head, however my hands were restricted. My eyes shot open, my head was lying back as my neck was craned. I lifted it up groaning in the process it hurt 10 times worse than the rest of my body. As I did I noticed someone sitting across from me, wait is that, "Tarian?" I sat there confused for a second.

"Oh wow sleeping beauty knows my name, I'm surprised."

"Oh Tarian stop being like that." A dark skinned girl yelled from the right of me. "Hi, my names Enya."

"Oh I'm Lucille," We all sat there for a second in pure silence. A bell rang off in my head. "Oh my god we are wearing different clothes!"

"You just noticed that-" Tarian shouted across the rather abnormally shaped table, going against the restraints that were also around their wrists.

"I'm sorry my head is still all jumbled up from earlier!" I yelled right back at them.

Tarian looked at me with a confused look on their face, their red bob of hair staying still, "What do you mean by earlier? I just passed out, not to sure about Enya over there."

"Oh well I did pass out, however I was in a forest where everything was super loud and it was raining, well pouring. So I doubt you went through that experience," I shivered as I remembered the past events that I had experienced prior.

"Fair enough, fair enough," Tarian sighed.

"Really? For me I was stuck in a blizzard after being separated from my group." As Enya spoke the last part of her sentence it looked as if a light bulb went off in Tarian's head.

"Hey Lucille did you get separated from your group too?"

"Yeah, we were walking and our lanterns went out. Next thing I knew there was monster like creatures that had replaced them." I fiddled with the hem of the dress shorts that had been put on me. I tried blowing a ribbon out of my face but failed as my head was angled down.

Tarian spoke up, "That seems to be a common factor between all three of us then." There was a loud voice that came from the direction opposite of Enya.

"Oh what smart dolls you all are." There was then as masked person that appeared, it covered their entire face and had the classic theater smile on it. It held gold details  with pops of color in the form of flowers. It was actually really nice. However when I made eye contact with them their was just souless pits of black staring back, I then noticed their smile was the same as we're their eyes would be.

Surprisingly it was Enya who spoke up first, "I'm assuming your our captor." She held a cold scowl.

"Yes, yes, yes I am young lady! Such a good observation!"The masked person moved their hands dramatically and frantically increasing their presence.

I felt something wrap around my waist and heard a lock snap as the cuffs around my wrists unlocked. I rubbed them seeing bruises that had formed. The mysterious person spoke up again, "Now let's all have some tea," they opened their arms wide their rather large and flowy sleeves following their movements in big movements.

Their were different tea pots all throughout the table and teacups infront of us pastries of all kinds on tiny little dishes along. The masked person sat in a larger chair than all of ours that we sat in. I was about to start poring myself some tea until Enya spoke up again, "Like hell we're going to drink tea especially from you, you psycho for all we now you could poison or drug us."

I looked up to the stranger and noticed their mask had changed. It still held all the same details except for the fact that the smile had now turned into the shape of a a frown. I looked across from me to see Tarian staring back. They looked uneased as they noticed the change. The only one that seemed to not care was Enya.

I then smelled some of the tea pots trying to figure out the flavors of each, 'Carmel, Vanilla, Peach, Cotton Candy?' Once I was on the final tea pot that was within my reach 'Mint,' I started to pour the tea ignoring the tension from my surroundings. I started to plop an excessive amount of sugar cubes in my cup, then squirting lemon in after they had dissolved. I took a honey spoon and started to stir it, taking honey from the jar that said raw honey and vanilla. After that I put some milk in, stirring it for a few seconds.

After all of that I took a little cake off of the stand it was placed on. "L-lucille you aren't going to eat or drink that, are you?"

"I mean it's better than being starved and thirsty, personally it's completely fine for me I know that there is a possibility for consequences and I'm willing to take that risk."

The masked person then hopped out of their chair and strode over to where I was sitting or rather being held in place. Their mask had turned back into a smile like before. "Now that is something admirable, however you might want to be more careful especially thinking about the state I found you in." The music box that I had heard before started playing again, this time though it was in the masked persons hands as they turned it, soon placing it infront of me as the music continued to play. "You don't seem to realize how dangerous this world really is and how susceptible you are to it."

"What the hell do you mean by that Lucille is perfectly fine!" Enya spoke out loud still retaliating.

"I never said that there was anything wrong with him, it's just he's so easy to trick. Almost like a little puppy. I mean earlier when he had entered he didn't even realized he was tricked until later and even then he didn't even get it right." The masked person laughed.

I looked at them in shock as they spoke about the previous events. My head started to feel a little foggy, I looked across the table to see Tarian, they had also poured themselves some tea and ate a scone. The music box continued to play infront of me as we sat there while Enya and the masked person argued.

I looked down to see the bunny from earlier that Melora had held. I started to nod off as I ate cake taking my tiny fork missing my mouth every once in awhile and getting frosting on my cheek. My head bobbed until it laid still on the table, not even my eyes opening.

There was a prickling beneath me, I opened my eyes once again. 'Talk about De ja vu'

"Ah Lucille I'm glad to see you are awake."

'Mr.Norbert?'

"Come on let's get you up." I sat up looking around, both Tarian and Enya were on the ground passed out. We were all back in our uniforms unlike the extravagant outfits we wore before.

Mr.Norbert started to talk again, "Hey, is everything okay, I found you guys right outside the trees passed out."

"Yeah, just a little turned around."

"That's good, you guys don't seemed to be hurt physically."

I noticed that there was another bag next to my backpack, my phone was back in my pocket again. I took the mysterious bag opening it. There was the music box from before, along with mint tea and the tea set. I sat there confused, After I pulled all of that out I noticed a little doll, a soft one that looked like the clown sorta resembled the masked person. The doll was holding a note it read;

on the envelope, the handwriting was very formal and fit with the rest of what was in the bag perfectly. I slitted to red wax seal with my nail opening it up;

I chuckled silently to myself, to some people I've might've seemed crazy, I mean the person did technically hold us hostage. However they did no harm to us as it feels as though they meant no harm, maybe they were just lonely.

Finally at the bottom of the bag there was the outfit that I had previously worn. I soon placed everything back in the bag closing it and waiting for everyone else.

"Lucille!" I felt my body crushed in a hug as Orion squeezed me. After a few minutes of me closing the bag both Enya and Tarian had woken up. After about an hour I'd say, everyone had finally left the forest.

"Where did you go off to after you went to go get your backpack?"

"What do you mean I was there with you guys until our lanterns went out while walking on the stone path."

Melora started to speak, "Lucille we never took that path, our lanterns never went out once."

"But Melora you went with me to go get our bags after chasing the bunny,"

"Come on Luci let's just go I think you need some rest Melora stood by me the entire time." Evelyn added in I stood there for a second in shock.

"But the bunny-"

Orion patted my back, "Let's talk about it on the way back,"

"Okay..."

"So then I was walking with the things that I thought were you guys and then our lanterns blew out, so I used a light so we could see and then they were these monsters that had replaced you. After that I made it into a different area of the forest and passed out after awhile and woke up with Enya and Tarian at a tea party with this person that calls themselves Bê, and now I'm here."

"Wow you sure went through more of an eventful adventure than us." Orion replied

Emelyn shouted from across me, "Yeah we were just wandering around in a normal forest looking for a way out, I'm so jealous!"

"Hey Lucille what's that bag that you have," Melora pointed at the bag that Bê had apparently given to me

"Oh! It's from Bê they were actually really nice," I smiled.

The ride countinued on, you could hear everyone shout again as we went over the bump from before. We had finally arrived back at school. Unlike what everyone thought it was only 2:00 p.m.

This one person named Artemis thought that it was 6:00 a.m because for their group they went through an entire week of being in the forest. It is quite impressive how the forest works.

"Alright, I have to say that I am quite impressed with you guys you all handled every situation you were put in a reasonable. Just from hearing about the events from a handful of you I can say that you guys exceeded my expectations."

There was a hand that shot up from the back,

"Yes Soma?"

"I was just wondering what are we going to do with the things we collected in the forest?" Their light pink pigtails moved with their motions the most eye catching thing however was their huge white bows that held up their hair.

Mr.Norbert clapped his hands as he did many times before, "Ah yes in the next lesson we will be observing and experimenting with all of the things you found in the forest, what a wonderful question, anymore?"

The whole room stayed silent.. "Well then I'd say that our class has come to a close, have a good day everyone!"

(A/N)-Hey I hope everyone has been having a wonderful day so far, a fun little thing I figured out the other day is that I absolutely love fried cheese. Also the way that Lucille made his tea is the exact way I make my mint tea which I've been OBSESSED with. Bye my Lovelies have an amazing day!
