That is what it had read on the note on the living room table. I looked at dad as everyone stared at the note. "I think it'll be fun," Elysia commented as she inspected the note, kicking her legs.

"I mean I guess there would be no harm in joining them, after all its not going to hurt us if we do." Dad spoke as he read over the letter for the sixth time in a row. Aluxio simply looked up from the book that he was reading and shook his head in a nodding motion.

We all agreed on going, soon we were all leaving to go to bed returning to our bedrooms. I noticed Sorin already asleep on my bed as I was changing my clothes. I laid down getting underneath my blanket and fluffing my pillow. Sorin woke up as I was moving around trying to get comfortable. He moved to the top of the bed and cuddled into me.

The next morning did not come as quick as I thought it would as my dream filled night dragged on, I was gambling with Bê , for some reason it was against this weird deer headed dude with a tuxedo on. We were just about to win until I felt something fluffy rubbing against my cheek and woke up, "Sorin-" I whined looking at him, he just jumped off of my bed and walked away, "Hey come back here you!" I shouted as I chased after Sorin.

The door to my room started to open as I noticed disheveled black hair, "Lucille it is 6 in the goddamn morning if you don't shut up and be quiet then you won't be making a sound for the next month." both me and Sorin frozen in place as me and him looked at Aluxio in fear.

I whispered to Aluxio, "It won't happen again, sorry." He walked out without saying another word. Both me and Sorin got back on the bed after I had picked up a book from my shelf. I laid down next to Sorin as I read for a few hours before getting ready for the day and heading down for breakfast.

I sat down at my spot at the table, we had some basic eggs and toast. It was oddly quiet, and the complete opposite of almost every other morning the table often got like this when something was hanging over everyone's heads. I mean I can't blame them, with the past events that have happened with the two families and ours its pretty awkward.

Surely enough the dark aura that was at the dining table hung around the entire day, the clock still only read 10:00 after I had finished my book. I decided to go to the library room where as soon as I entered the room the sound of a pen scratching on paper could be heard from across the hall. I looked over to see Cytherea with a shockingly calm face holding a practically half pen on the verge of breaking. I tip toed across the hard wood, I quietly made my way over to where I had gotten my book just an hour earlier. I picked out a poetry book just a few books down. I made my way back towards the door trying to be as quiet as possi- "Lucille you do know you are one of the worst people when it comes to sneaking around right?"

I looked back at Cytherea now noticing that the strained pen noises had stopped. "Hey, It was worth a try, plus you seemed super angry so I thought you wouldn't of noticed."

"I may be angry but not blind,"

"I mean, I mean I don't know but like it's a possibility." I waved my arms around as I spoke randomly pointing around.

Cytherea looked at me as I spoke with  the look of defeat, "Nevermind..." Cytherea walked away going back to writing this time at a normal pace.

I went back to laying in bed with Sorin for the next few hours.

We all sat in the carriage, with a deathly silence in the air. The only thing that could be heard was the wheels clinking against the pavement.

The ride seemed to drag on forever with the unreleased tension in the air. The only one that seemed to have a somewhat happy facial expression was Elysia as she kicked her legs, them not quite meeting the floor. Even with her happy expression her eyes looked absolutely furious with the dark murky brown they held spite her usual red ones, you could hear her kicks getting more and more violent as the ride went on and we got closer to the castle.

I looked over to Aluxio, he was just looking out the window with his hand tapping on his leg in a pattern speeding up slowly but surely. Cytherea was reading a book, or trying to at least she kept looking around not having turned past the first page.

Mom and dad both sat across from all of us, dad seemed to be sweating looking straight forward into space as mom traced his palm with her thumb while she looked out the window.

You could tell we were getting closer as voices from people in town seemed to get closer and louder as crowds slowly started to build up.

I looked to the side towards the window noticing that we had passed the café me and Orion had ate at just the other day. I gulped as this signified we were only getting closer. To be honest the only reason why I was fine with actually going is because Evelyn would be there.

We were surprisingly at the front of the castle despite having the thought of never getting there because of the painfully long ride that was actually just a mere 30 minutes.

We had all exited making our way to the entrance without a word. The guards had let us in without hesitation unlike the last time I had come over. There was a person who I presumed was a butler that had walked us over to the garden where Evelyn's birthday was held. The set up was completely rearranged with the fountain in easy view. I cringed at the memory from last time I was here.

I noticed Evelyn along with the second and first prince who sat next to her brother, the parents seemed to have a section where you could see two open seat presumably for mom and dad. There was so much built up anger when each one of us bowed saying "Thank you for inviting us your highness's"

"Oh you don't have to greet us in such a formal manner," the king spoke.

Dad spoke up spite his nerves being everywhere "Well it's the respectable way to do so after all you are two of the most powerful ruling feelings, not that your power represents your worth." I heard dad mumble the last part and rightfully so, ever sense the family known as the Rosetta's now had taken over the kingdom has had a largest gap in wealth in power between the higher classes and lower classes than ever before.

We made our way to our seats I sat right beside Evelyn, I felt something passed into my hands as I did. I opened it with my hands in my lap beneath the table. I could feel Evelyn's eyes on me as I read the note. I nodded as I felt her stare move away from me. Yes this is going to end in disaster.

The butler that has led us here started to pour tea into everyone's cup from the rather tall teapot. I lifted my head to notice the first prince across the table.I smiled as I remembered yesterday. My eyes looked behind him as well to see Uri, he gave me a small wave as I smiled in response. After that action however I saw him staring at the second prince with pure rage.

There was an awkward silence until the rather flashy queen spoke. "I'd like to thank you for coming after being informed about what both of our son's had done."

The queen from the neighboring kingdom then spoke after, "Yes I am also sorry about my youngest and what he had done to both of your youngest children."

Mom spoke before dad could, "All is forgiven after all the situation was sorted out. Plus it's not like you had a choice in what your son had done." I looked towards dad who was avoiding eye contact as mom spoke after all we all knew what that really meant. 'You bitch nothing is forgiven you didn't even pay for the doctor, raise your son right isn't he supposed to be a representation of you and your kingdom. You may have not chose what your son did but you sure had in influence you think you can get away with this...'

I looked towards Uri again to see him missing and replaced with another guard. However once again I was met with the first prince looking at me. There was spite in his glare for some unknown reason.

I looked away as I caught onto more of the conversation, "Yes and I should apologies for my eldest sons actions as well,"

"Why is that?" Mother inquired

The queen hesitated for a bit almost struggling to say something, "Well we recently found out he had known all about the plan and helped initiate it."

Why was I not surprised I looked over to Evelyn's brother to see him gripping his hand in a tight cleaned fist, hard enough to draw blood.

I slipped my tea as passive aggressive comments were made from the other two families towards us. I nearly choked as I heard the next comment made by the King, "I don't understand how many people in town live in such poor conditions although they are surviving, I could never."

I looked at him in utter shock.almost everyone except the other rulers did, I noticed Evelyn's brother get up,"How about we go for a walk, all of us kids."

Soon we all got up one by one leaving the rather awkward situation. Both me and Evelyn went in the castle, I looked back behind us through the window to see Elysia and Aluxio staying close to Cytherea as they walked. The second prince stayed with Evelyn's older brother. However the first prince was no where to be seen when I looked out.

We both just walked the halls until Evelyn spoke up, "Well that sure was... something?" She questioned the last part of her sentence to herself.

"Yeah it was awkward that is for sure, I wonder how dad's holding up."

I looked around as an unnerving feeling lingering around. The workers in the castle seemed to be glaring or staring at us as we walked around talking about miscellaneous subjects. We continued to wander going further and further into the castle. Evelyn brought us over to a desolate area in the castle, it looked as if no one had been in it in years.

"Hey, I need to talk to you about something..."

"Yeah?"

"I want you and your family to be careful around the first prince." She paused almost as if she was trying to come up with something, "There is something about him that just isn't right."

Both of our heads shot back as we heard glass shatter, I looked towards her as we started to run towards the sound. There were maids and butlers rushing all through the corridors, the chaos rising as more and more people gathered.
