~ Prologue ~

"Xav, darling wake up it's time for your party". My mom started waking me up. "Mommy, few more minutes please". I replied snuggling more in to my comfortable pillow. " It's your birthday party my love and guess who's going to be there". That made me raise my head a little and look at her. "Who is it Mommy?" I asked. "Well Uncle Nick and Aunt Maria is going to be here with Daliah". My mom said." Yaayyyy!!" I started squealing in excitement to see Daliah.

She is my best friend ever since I saw her at a dinner with their family. She is so pretty and cute, we became best friends quickly and ever since then we are inseparable.

Few hours later.

It's time for my party and I'm excited to eat my cake but mostly to see Dali. I was at my doorstep waiting for Dali and as soon as I saw her vehicle park she jumped out of it and came running toward me with open arms and hugged me tightly. After few seconds she looked at me and hugged me again wishing me " Hapwy birthday Xavi. I wuv you". I smiled so hard my cheeks started aching after hearing it. " thank you Dali".

" Xav come here darling it's time to cut your cake". I hear my mommy calling me. " coming mommy". I soon replied and looked down at Dali who is still hugging me and held her hand to go. There I saw my school friends and my two most close friends; Andrew and Cody, My family and other lot of people. After cutting and feeding the cake to everyone we decided to play. While playing with Andrew and Cody I saw Daliah playing by herself not far away from us and I started going near her but before me I saw another boy going towards her and I stared running to see what he wants. When I was near  them I saw him picking at Dali and calling names at her for playing by herself " hahaha look at you all alone and playing by yourself". This made me angry so I pushed him screaming " back off David" and he landed hard on the ground and started crying. It was the last day that I was ever friends with him after what he did to Dali. I heard a sniffling sound while I was glaring at him and look towards Daliah and saw her crying. I quickly hugged and whispered " don't cry Dali, he is bad but you are a good baby okay. See he will not disturb you again okay don't cry, please". This made her stop crying and a small smile made to her face." You are a good baby girl. Come play with me, Cody and Andrew". I said and she nodded her head and we went back to my friends. "Hey guys meet baby girl". I introduced her to them and they both said in unison "hey baby girl" which made me angry at how they were using my nickname for her. " Hey don't call her that, she's my baby girl". I said slightly glaring at the two. When I heard a sweet giggling I looked at baby girl and asked " why you giggling baby girl?" "You and tank ywou for swaving mwe Xavi". She said making me smile and give her a peck on her cheek.

After everyone left it was me and baby girl on my bed talking about random stuff and promising " I'll always protect and love you baby girl and you will always be my best friend okay?"

" okay Xavi and I too will wuv you and care about you a-and also you are my best fweind too". She replied sweetly in her baby voice".

Which was indeed a promise that Xavier made to himself that night looking at the beautiful angel in his arms.
