Daliah's pov

After telling Xavi that I'll meet him in the class I went to the library quickly so I could return my book before the deadline. Returning from the library I came face to face none other than the school cheerleader; Alexandra.

" Awww, is your bodyguard off duty today, bitch", she hissed at me.

I just ignored and tried to walk past her but to be harshly thrown back to a locker.

The impact was really hard and I knew an ugly bruise was going to resemble my pain.

" Remember this you nerd, he may be always near you 24×7 protecting you and what not but I promise you I'll make sure to snatch him away from you", she spat at me and kicked my stomach throwing the air out of my lungs.

" Y-you would never get him because h-he knows how cruel and evil you are", I said more like whispered since I couldn't breath.

" Oh, yea then tell me where is your so called prince charming", she yelled clutching a fistful of hair and pulled my head up, but before she could do anything a furious Xavier was rushing towards me and threw Alexandra away from me and hugged me tightly to his chest.

" What the fuck is wrong with you dumb bitch?", he shouted at her.

" Oh Xavy you don't know what she did to me. Look she hurt me", she said fake crying and pointing at her arm to show a non-existing wound.

" Shut up you whore, I know about you and I swear to god if I see you near Dali again you will face my wrath. Now fuck off from here before I break your limbs", he spat at her.

" Bub I'm fine let's go", I said trying to get up but my pain was very visible.

He looked at my eyes and I saw regret and hurt floating in them.

I quickly hugged him back and whispered, "Hey it's not your fault Okay, remember I told you it's fine I'll go alone by myself. So please don't feel guilty of what happened bub".

" How can I not! This is the first time you have ever gotten hurt and I was not there to protect you", he said brokenly.

" Bubba look at me, it never was your mistake okay. It's all her fault so come on let's go to the class before the others come too", I said looking straight at his eyes to reassure him.

" No no you need to go to the nurse and then you are going home with me plus only bed rest for you today", he told lifting me up bridal style.

The nurse checked my whole body for injuries and only found the bruise on my stomach and back when Alexandra pushed me and when she kicked me.

I avoided eye contact with Xavi knowing the pissed look he was having on his face after hearing what happend and I know that I have to tell him after going home too tho he won't actually ask me giving me space.

" It's best if you take her home Xavier since she's not in a condition to work. I'll give both of you passes and don't worry take these tablets and you'll be fine, Okay", she advised.

Xavi just nodded at her her and I looked at her giving her a grateful smile.

The ride to my place was awfully quite because I knew he is angry since I got physically abused today. This has never happened to me, Xavi not been there to protect me is taking a toll on him and I know it's my turn to console him.

Getting out of the vehicle he only gave me a smile when he came to my side and carried me to my room. After he placed me on the bed he tried to walk out of the room but I quickly stopped him, tugging on his arm.

" Bub where are you going?", I asked him worriedly.

" I'm not going to leave you baby girl I'm just going to the kitchen to get some water and something to eat for you", he replied smiling down at me.

" Oh okay", I said releasing his arm to go, I looked at his retreating back and after he was completely out of my sight I laid down on my bed with my back pressed on to the headboard.

" Hey, I got you some leftover rice and here you go your medicine", Xavi said coming into the room.

" Thanks Bub and I know you want to know exactly what happened. So come here and sit down, it's not like I'm gonna break into pieces", I jokingly said which earned a warning look from him to which I just rolled my eyes.

By the end of the confession I was cuddled up to him and was staring at him.

He too was staring intently at my eyes and I could see thousands of emotions flashing in them.

Little by little he got close and in the next moment all I knew was his lips attached to mine.

I could feel thousands of sparks running around my body and when he started moving his lips against mine I felt his arms tightening around my waist and pushing me into him.

Holy cow I can't believe I'm kissing the boy that I was always dreaming about giving my first kiss to.

After coming out of my thoughts I realised I was not responding and started moving my lips just like him. He traced my bottom lip with his tongue asking for permission and I granted him.

Soon I moved away from his lips since I was out of breath, woah I just had my first kiss with Xavi and it was the best feeling ever but was this just in the heat of the moment or did this actually mean something to him like it does to me.

" Hey princess, don't over think okay. You mean the world to me and I'm not an idiot to lose an angel like you. I've been dying to tell you how I actually feel for years baby but I was scared that you wouldn't feel the same way and it will end what we have. I didn't kiss you in the heat of the moment but I was dying to and because I want you, more than a best friend. I love you baby, I have ever since I met you, even when we were kids I was madly in love with you and I am still crazy in love with you. This kiss meant everything to me okay", he confessed.

Tears were pouring out of my eyes after hearing his beautiful confession. God how lucky am I that the person I'm madly in love with, actually loves me too. My Xavi, who was there with me through everything is in love with me.I was brought out of my thoughts when I felt him kissing my forehead, I looked up and smiled at him.

" Hey you don't have to rush Okay, and I want us to workout so I'm asking this question I've been waiting years and years to ask; baby girl will you go on a date with me tomorrow?", he asked grinning like he just won the best gift.

" Y-yes of course I would go on a date with you", I said smiling.

" Okay, I'll give you further details tomorrow for now go to sleep my love", he replied.

" Good night bub", I said smiling like an idiot and snuggle further into his chest; excited about tomorrow and that I've got the love of my life here with me and fell into the best sleep so far of my life.

P.s. guys really sorry if the mature scene of this chapter is not very good since this is my first book and I'm not used to writing such scenes but I'll do my best. :)
