Arnav Seeks Khushi's help

Doctor comes and test her temperature and confirms.

Doctor – Temperature is quite high...will be injecting this for now (Injects the medicine) BP and heartbeat frequency also do not look good.... I guess it's due to fear.... (Draws a small test tube of blood) will run some blood tests and confirm if anything else is noticed.

Arnav – Doctor...she hasn't eaten dinner yet.... What can we give...

Doctor – Better to be on liquid diet... if she is too hungry let her have some porridge .... that works good in this situation (Doctor, writes prescription) medicines for 3 days (Looks at Khushi) take care of yourself...start the medicines from morning.... Eat well (Khushi nods. Doctor walks out...Arnav follows him...When Arnav is going back to guest room after sending the doctor. Anjali comes to him)

Anjali – Chote.... I never saw you this concerned to anyone except me and Nani... (Pats his cheek lovingly) I feel good to see this side of yours... (he just smiles...she goes to her room, and he comes to guest room)

Arnav – You need anything else? (Khushi nods a no) ok.... (he turns back)

Khushi – Arnav ji... (he just turns) ... Thanks...for everything you did today.....

Arnav – You are welcome.... (He hurries back to his room...murmuring to himself) this Saali (Sister-in-law) is really messing with my mind.... why am I unable to control my behaviour with her....? He takes out mobile and replies to Khushi's message)

12 PM NIGHT

Khushi is feeling hungry now.... she sits on the bed slowly...her dizziness is gone. She is feeling a lot better.... she thinks what she can eat.... her eyes fall on Arnav's room window where the light was still on...Khushi thinks to herself

Khushi – Just give a try Khushi...he won't eat you up.... on top of it he has been so nice to you today.... (She slowly walks to his room. She prepares herself to knock but thinks again) why to disturb him? let me go to kitchen and see if anything is available to eat. (She walks to kitchen)

KITCHEN

Khushi was searching something light to eat. Suddenly she hears Arnav's voice.

Arnav – You needed something?

Khushi - I am hungry...was searching something light to eat

Arnav – Be in your room... I will prepare something and get it for you...

Khushi – You....? No Arnavji I am just an employee and you shouldn't be cooking for me. I am good.

Arnav – Thats not your headache to think about, whom I should cook.... you should not be running like this....

Khushi – But I am the one who should eat so....I am really hungry...

Arnav – Ok come and just see what I prepare.

She happily nods and observes him taking all right ingredients...in perfect measuring.... He prepares the porridge like a pro...finally when it's done. Arnav tastes it.... He remembers his mother; it was her special recipe for sick people. He comes out of stance

Arnav – Hmm.... good... Khushi...see ...let me know if you need anything else... (picks up another spoon and gives a portion to taste...she eats it.... he was waiting for her reaction)

Khushi – Arnav ji.... it's so yummy ... (He smiles at her comment and quickly fills 2 bowls....and takes them in tray. Signalling her to follow. She is again walking behind and asks) why 2 bowls? I won't have so much.... (He gives a warning look) ok I won't speak.... (Keeps a finger on her lips and follow him. They both sit near the poolside. having the porridge. once finished...Khushi had tears)

Arnav – Khushi, you said it was good right...why are you crying? (she wipes tears)

Khushi – I am not crying...these are happy tears....no one cooked for me after my parents passed away...so I got carried away.... sorry....

She picks up his used bowl along with tray...he is silent. digesting the fact that she had also lost her parents...who else can relate to this...he himself lost his own parents. He thinks

Arnav - Should I just reveal myself and confront her the reason for searching me? Is she in some trouble? Does she have issues with her husband? Where is her sister?

He was lost in thoughts...Khushi comes back...looking at lost Arnav. She coughs for his attention...he looks at her

Khushi - Good Night Arnav, Ji.

Arnav – Good Night (He smiles, she returns to guest room)

MORNING

Khushi is in her room checking her phone after previous day's incident. She notices the message.

Meeting you is out of question Khushi...please stop whatever you are doing...you will never be able to find me...I would not be replying to your messages anymore.... Stop expecting anything more from me...

She reads this again and again.... she feels really stressed out.... she thinks ..thinks and thinks...finally she decides to reply only after thinking thoroughly and not in heist like the first time and make him get angry.

DINING TABLE

Khushi – Anjali ji.... you had curd in morning again?

Anjali – Sorry Khushi... (Arnav comes and hear this conversation)

Arnav – Di you should be helping her. Not keep her on toes like this (Teases Anjali)

Anjali – I know...but what to do.... it's hard to control and not eat something which you like.

Khushi – You always tell this Anjali ji (She pouts)

Anjali – Ok baba ...last time...now on no changes to chart....

Khushi – Good come now ... lets walk a bit in garden.

OFFICE – ARNAV'S CABIN

Akash has come to Arnav's cabin to discuss his problem.

Akash – Bhai, you never said anything.

Arnav – The person whom I want to involve in this was sick so I am waiting to explain her the plan and we will execute. Have some patience.

Akash – I am restless Bhai.

Arnav – Did you take my permission to get into such a situation. You cant disturb me like this in office hours. Get Mama and Mami to stay in Shantivan for some time. I will take care of the rest.

Akash – Ok Bhai, we all will come and stay in Shantivan from tomorrow. (He rushes out of cabin. Arnav smiles nodding his head. Meanwhile Aman enters)

Arnav – Yes Aman.

Aman – ASR, location of the call you got during funeral got traced.

Arnav – Who is it Aman?

Aman – We don't know who it was, but the fact is it was a fake call.

Arnav – Is this what you got? We have already figured it out. I need something new. My sister-in-law is in house. I don't know what is stored. Tell me something new or else dont waste my time (He was annoyed)

Aman – The call details were deleted using a very high influence. Even now you can't get any official proof of the call. We could get hold of this information from some unofficial sources. The location was same as the funeral site.

Arnav – What does that mean?

Aman – Detective Vinod told. It's an attempt to make you desperate, to go to your wife to confront her. She is their target is what he suspects. Otherwise Delhi and Bangalore are quite far, your wife could not have travelled leaving behing her dead parents.

EVENING – STUDY ROOM

Arnav has called Khushi to his study.

Khushi – Any changes to agreement Arnav Ji?

Arnav – Why?

Khushi – You never call me here for any unofficial things.

Arnav – You are quite smart. (She feels happy at his appreciation) But the reason is something differen. I need your help. (Khushi is confused, he continues) My Mama and Mami with Akash will come tomorrow and stay here for some time. (He explains Akash's love story and ask her help in introducing Payal as her friend and make Mami accept Payal for Akash) Will you help Khushi? (Khushi was surprised to see this side of Arnav. He again calls) Khushi... (Khushi jerks and replies)

Khushi – Arnav Ji.... you don't have fever, right? You are asking me this help? This means I should cross all those lines we had spoken in our agreement meet, the first day. Are you fine with that.

Arnav – Yes, I am fine. So, you agree?

Khushi – Yes, anyway I am at home, if this can help Akash ji then I don't have any issues.

Arnav – Thanks. So, what do you expect in return.

Khushi – You know my need. You already said you cannot help. Apart from that I don't have any other need.

Arnav – Ok, I promise to sort the private number issue as soon as possible.

Khushi – Thanks... (She was about to go)

Arnav – Khushi (She turns) your resume says you have a twin sister; you never talk about her. (Khushi who was so cheerful till now become sad and dull)

Khushi – She is the reason I am in such a situation Arnavji. She went out of the house 1 and half year ago and I never met her after that.

Arnav – Don't you want to search her?

Khushi – I handled myself all alone after my parents' death. If at she would have gone near our house, she would have got to know about their demise. I haven't changed my number. I haven't got a single call from her. Why should I search her? She must be happy with her husband forgetting all of us. Let's not talk about her Arnav ji (She joins palm and walks out. Arnav thinks)

Arnav – Khushi thinks Aashi is happy with her husband. So, she doesn't know whom Aashi married to. Oh god where will I search this wife of mine to safeguard her?
