Chapter IV- Her Rescuer

-Come here, my sweetie.- the man says and I pace slowly to him and sit to the bed edge. I wasn't able to look at him, hoping that this way it will be less harder. He starts undoing the robe I was wearing and giving my figure complements I didn't want to hear.

Sofia told me that maybe if I didn't resist it would be less painful, she told that I should just let it go.

His lips rubbing against my skin, my neck, I wanted to remove my skin.

He tries to remove my dress and instinctively I hold his hand. -Don't you try to stop me. I just paid a shit load of money for you.- He looks at me not so bemused. I just couldn't let that happen. I know I was cursed to be unhappy and miserable for life but this is too much.

-I don't like playing games, sweetheart.- he says and grabs me by force kissing my neck as I try to avoid him.

Before I was thinking that just letting it happen, would be easy. But no, I can't let this man take something like my virginity from me. There was no price on it. I always wanted it to be special and romantic. He keeps kissing me and I fight him with no success. The only thing left for me was bite him. I bit him on the lips as he forces a kiss and he growls before slapping me hard. I fall flat on the bed and he comes on top of me pinning my arms down.

He traces kisses on my neck, the only reachable place now was his ear. I bit his ear with so much force that he starts bleeding and probably even removed a piece of his ear. But I didn't stay to look. I run out of the room and down the stairs into the gardens as his voice echoes around the house to not let me out.

The disgusting iron taste in my mouth, I could taste his blood. But All I knew was running. I needed to get out of there.

I keep on running and hear dogs behind me. I didn't turn to see them; it was just hearing them to know that they were huge. I climb on the nearest tree while the dogs bark to me.

Too much effort for nothing, just got senseless beaten. Next day I wake up attached to chains on my feet and with a bucket of cold water to my face. -You, black skunk. - he growls. -You will pay very high price for this. - he says showing his ear totally covered with Band-Aid.

Once he leaves the house, the old lady comes to help me. Clean me up and feed me. I was in so much pain, that I could barely chew the food. She gives me some painkillers to help me at least with the headache. -What have you done? - she asks in an anguished tone.

-What's your name? - I ask her.

-Call me Mary, child. -

-You are most kind. Long live Mary. May god reward you for being such a good woman. How can you be working for him? -

-Maybe I'm not such a good woman after all. - she says looking down at her hands. -I wish I could help you much more than this. Get you out of here. You are not the first girl and you won't be the last. Somebody has to stop him. - she says and starts crying. I join her crying to. We could do no better.

At night he storms in asking for food and wanted me to serve him. And to be more savage I had to walk around in my underwear.

-Mr. Gonzalo can't see you now. - I hear Mary saying before a man rushes in, I look down hiding my face, it was too embarrassing.

-I have been trying to contact you for a while. - the guy says in a calm tone. Mr. González gestures for Mary to let go.

-You are the guy that wants to buy a huge piece of my land? I'm not interested. - he says right away and ignores him, continuing his meal.

-We are paying double what it's worth. - the guy insists. His voice was soft, yet firm; exhaled confidence and I wanted to look up and know who's the owner, if he makes the voice justice.

-They are not for sale.-

-My boss won't take no for an answer. Be grateful that he's allowing you to still keep the house. - the man says and González starts laughing as if his speech was a joke.

-Get out of here before I get my dogs to munch you for dinner. - he says and I just remember that the two beasts are sitting near him. One of them bit me on my arm last night. I hope that with the treatment Mary did on me it doesn't infect.

The man slides a paper on the table, close to him González doesn't look bemused and command his dogs to attack.

The man slowly steps back when the dogs go to him, but for some reason the dogs stop and surrender to him with the tails between the legs.

I did not predict his next move, but he comes until me and puts a finger on my chin to look in my face.

Holy Shit! I can't believe my eyes. Do you believe in love at first sight! If not, come back tomorrow, please! - What's your name, child?- he asks and I could sense González fuming on his sit. For a while I forgot my current position here and was floating in cloud 9.

-Lydia.- I manage to say.

-Leave her the fuck alone. - González demands, but the guys doesn't deviate his eyes from mine. I had my gaze low right away in awe. He was probably one more ruthless, useless man.

-How old are you? -

-I will be turning 18 soon.- I reply and look sideways controlling González. The man turns to González with a victorious grin.

-It will just be a finger snap and the police will be here because of a minor. We know about your business, your routes and everything. Let's settle this friendly. You get your money, go grow your business somewhere else. Or we can do it the hard way. Let me advance that if the big boss comes here, there will be no room for negotiation. - he warns.

González takes the paper and signs on reluctantly; he leaves the table furious pulling the chain attached to me. The man starts walking away but is stopped by Mary.

He sighs and a while after I feel a hand on my arm. - She's coming with me. - the man says taking both of us by surprise. Why is he helping me? Is he another rapist, sadistic ?

-This is out of limits. I just signed the paper. The girl is mine, I paid a lot for this bitch. -

He signs to the dogs that turn against the very owner. I don't know how he does that, but he got to teach me!

Is this my prince? The end of hell, or just it's beginning of another hell?
