Depend on me wife*(17)

After establishing a clear pact between me and my grandaunt .

We began our training , Lolo , seemed to be distracted which got me worried .

He trained harder at perfecting his healing skills which coincidentally had some poisonous qualities .

That was not surprising though , his grandfather was the master of the art of poison .

I had gotten a lot stronger and my connection to nature seemed to become a lot stronger too.

That was strangely exciting , I felt like I was losing myself a bit after tasting a little bit of power .

Truly that must be the reason why humans should not have too much power .

It can make you a bit addicted . Lolo , was also looking a bit obsessed with his own power .

He was also struggling with something , I could see it , he was my wife after all.

"Lolo , are you okay ?" I asked after our daily training . " Yes " was his one answer , as we entered our room .

For some reason , his cold answer got me a bit upset .

" I can see something is bothering you , yet you still dare lie to me?" I asked more sternly than I intended .

He looked startled , which made me sigh in frustration . " Please just tell me what's going on ?" He still remained silent , officially pissing me off.

I pulled him into my arms and gave him a punishing kiss , I picked him up from the ground and trapped his body against the wall.

He moaned in my embrace . " Tell me the truth Lolo " I said sucking on his lower lip .

His lust filled eyes looked at me stubbornly , I knew my wife very well , he would not relent so easily .

I got him hot and hard then left him high and dry . If he insisted on not telling me , he deserved to be punished .

Lolo , panted and looked at me with disbelief as I walked over to the chair in our room and began to read an old book .

" Your joking right " came his soft , frustrated voice .

I said nothing , just kept looking at the book as if I was truly concentrating on it .

How could I concentrate on some old book , with my tempting wife infront of me? Exactly it was completely impossible .

Not forgetting I was also rock hard . " Ukhanyo , you can't possibly be serious " he said once again.

Then seeing I was not answering , he walked closer to me . " Ukhanyo , please " he begged .

" Will you tell me the truth Lolo?" I asked him seriously . He nodded .

" I'll tell you okay , just ..." I got the clue , but I still made no move to get off the chair .

This seemed to anger him , he took the book and threw it to God, knows where .

He then sat on my lap and kissed me . I could have resisted , but what the hell .

After the whole episode , I held him , in my arms and asked once again . " What's bothering you ?" .

He sighed and looked up at me . " I have been having a dream this past few days ,

in this dream I keep losing you and our child ,plus I'm trapped in a place I don't know " .

We both went silent after he spoke . " That means their beginning to make their move , Lolo , they know about your pregnancy " .

He trembled at that and I held him tighter . " Lolo , I'm your husband , when you have worries ,tell them to me , wife , depend on me more " .

He still said nothing ." I'm I that unreliable? " At that he finally , looked at me . " Your very good , I just don't want you to face any danger ".

I nodded , " would you like to go to my great grandfather's house in America, for a while ?" I asked.

" No Ukhanyo , if your fighting , I want to be here , you can't send me away that easily " I looked up at the roof as he spoke .

I knew he would not leave me , but I wished he would , atleast just until I've dealt with the queen mother and her cronies .

" Please I beg of you , you'll be safer there " I began to plead having no choice .

" No" was his final answer . " Let him stay young prince , you need him next to you " sir Xolo , cut into our conversation.

"His in danger next to me sir Xolo" I said suddenly feeling helpless .

"No , his safer with you , if mother , could sent her magic to cause trouble for your mother when he was abroad , she can do it again "  .

" Husband, please don't leave me " I was shocked by that . " I'm not leaving you Lolo , your my wife , and that will never change " .

He nodded and like that we fell  asleep . Who would have thought that as we were going to the stream the next day, we'd meet the devil incarnate.

Nosipho , clapped her hands happily as she looked at the both of us.  She began dance as if celebrating something .

" Congratulations cursed prince , I heard your wife conceived , I must say I'm quite thrilled by the news " of cause she was .

" Oh look at your glares , do you guys not want to see me ?" She laughed crazily after that .

" Sorry to break it to you but you'll be seeing me a lot , after all I do like thrilling children like yourselves " .

Her smile was creepy as she looked at Lolo's stomach .

I pulled him behind me and glared fiercely at that , if I had more power , I would have killed her that very moment .

" My, how lovely , the cursed husband is protecting his little wife " I growled at her indignantly.

" Nosipho , why are you causing trouble for the children?" A confused voice asked  .

I had never heard that voice before . The man was tall and average looking but that was not what caught my attention about him .

It was the fact that the man had no presence , as if he was dead . Nosipho , began to scream like crazy .

" No , your dead! Your supposed to be dead!" Me and Lolo , looked at each other bewildered.

" What are you talking about Nosipho , do you want me dead ?" The man asked with a frown .

Nosipho , began to run away from us , the man looked at her retreating figure then looked at us .

" I'm going to follow my wife " he said with a warm smile .

After that he disappeared out of sight as if he had never been there in the first place .

I looked at Lolo , "what the hell just happened ?"

" That man I have seen him before " Lolo , said still lost in thought.

" Who is he ?" I asked a little too eager to know the man's connection to my wife . " That is Nosipho's dead husband" .

My Jaw dropped at that .
