Chapter 26 – You Should Go And Reincarnate (1)

The next morning, Yu Duo woke up from Aunty Lian’s persistent knocking.

She groggily opened her eyes and her body was painful like it was run over by a car. Yu Duo let out a small cry and that was when she noticed that her throat was sore.

She was feverish from a cold?

That was her first thought.

The knocking was still going nonstop so Yu Duo finally threw on pajamas and went to open the door.

“Aunty Lian, what’s the matter?”

“My Madam, it’s already 11, why are you still....” Aunty Lian suddenly stopped in the middle of her sentence. She noticed that Yu Duo did not look fine. She looked her up and down and finally stopped at her neck area, then frightfully, she said, “Madam, what happened to you?”

Yu Duo was dumbfounded, “What do you mean?”

“Are you... having an allergic reaction?”

Allergy?

Yu Duo turned around and looked into the mirror. When she saw all the red marks on her neck, her collar bones, and her chest, she was stunned. She stood there dumbfounded and her mind blanked.

“I am sure it’s just allergies. It’s my fault, I didn’t notice that the seasons are changing. Madam, don’t worry, I’ll call the doctor right now.”

“Wait!” Yu Duo suddenly recollected herself right when Aunty Lian was turning around. She quickly stopped her on her way, “Aunty Lian, there is no need to call the doctor. I have... I have allergy medications.”

“Your voice... do you have a cold? No, it’s safer to have the doctor come and check you out.”

“There’s no need!” Yu Duo ran up a few steps and grabbed her. “I was just about to go in for my annual exam at the hospital. There’s no need to have the doctor come to the house.”

Aunty Lian looked more and more worried, she looked back and forth on her collar bones.

Embarrassed, Yu Duo pulled her pajama shut and covered up her neck and her collar bones completely.

Perhaps it was the embarrassed look and the insistence on Yu Duo, Aunty Lian finally smiled and said, “Okay, then quickly get ready and come downstairs for breakfast. I will have the driver take you to the hospital afterward.”

Yu Duo felt relieved and said, “Okay, I will be right down.”

She closed the door and locked it behind her.

Yu Duo walked insider her walk-in closet and stood in front of the full-length mirror. She took a deep breath and slowly opened up her pajamas.

Her eyes widened when she saw the marks on her own body.

Her entire body, from her neck to her ankles, were covered in red marks.

If she was still her naïve self from three years ago, perhaps she, too, would think this was an allergic reaction. She might even run to the hospital like an idiot.

In the past three years,with the amount of times she had done it with Fu Sinian, they would have enough condoms to line the... the entire perimeter of the mansion. Fu Sinian had always been rough and dominating in bed. Occasionally, when he was in the mood, he’d leave his marks all over her body.

She would know this.

Suddenly, Yu Duo recalled the night before.

She seemed to have some recollection. She couldn’t move; she couldn’t talk. Come to think of it, she was finally feeling the fear.

And last night... she seemed to remember something....

That’s impossible? How was that possible?

The mansion has the very best security system; it was not possible for anyone to sneak in. Plus, she didn’t drink anything since she got home last night, so she couldn’t have been drugged either.

Thinking about that possibility, Yu Duo shuddered. She pulled her pajama tighter, and her eyes darted back and forth in her sockets as she continuously looked around her.

Having this speculation, and thinking about the last few days, the more Yu Duo thought about it, the more she thought it was possible. Suddenly even this sunny room felt eerie.

BAM!

A loud noise interrupted her thoughts. Yu Duo’s heart skipped a beat and she broke out into a cold sweat.
