Singhania's Mansion

Mumbai, India

Sanjana's POV:

What Akshay has said to Aahana has given me some kind of relief. Was there some kind of insecurity in my heart regarding Akshay and Aahana's past?

Yes, there was and the reason is that he has still not confessed his love for me.

I have not heard the full conversation between Aahana and Akshay and when I will know what had happened fully I will be more at peace.

We are at dinner with Ranvijay's family, I remain silent knowing that conversation can wait till the dinner completes.

"Kirti, do you plan on continuing your job immediately after marriage or take a break for few days?" Akshay asked Kirti Di.

"I plan on continuing it." Kirti Di somberely replied.

"Good, You will be joining Marketing Department tomorrow. Alex and Claire will brief you on your new job after we are done here." Akshay informed.

"Don't you think you should take a month off after marriage, beta?" Ranvijay's mother asked Kirti Di.

"You are working in your brother's company, you can go whenever you want." She added seeing confusion plastered on Kirti Di's face.

"For your information, Mrs. Singh, Singhania corporation does not work like that. If Kirti wants a leave she will be needing permission from HR group as every other employee." Akshay's brusque tone chilling the atmosphere.

"Anyway, Ranvijay and Kirti Di plan on going to honeymoon 2 months after their marriage, so she can have her leave then. After marriage, it will be not needed." Mila bhabhi tried to lighten the atmosphere.

"Have you guys plan anything?" I asked them while wiggling my brows at Kirti Di.

"Sanjana, Akshay and you have also not been on your honeymoon, why don't you guys go together?" Ma asked.

Her suggestion was not bad but seeing the colour draining away from Ranvijay's face at the thought of being in Akshay's company at his honeymoon made me deny it.

"Actually, this a good idea but I will not be able to take leave as the leave quota of this year is already exhausted."

Akshay was as silent as always during whole meal, was it because of the conversation he had with Aahana?

The dinner was finished without any kind of drama thankfully.

I was in my room thinking how to breach the topic of Aahana and confront Akshay, when suddenly someone hugged me from behind.

The feel and comfort of his arms so familiar to me now that I knew in an instant that it was my Akshay and he was so rigid in his hug which shows his distress.

"Akshay, what's wrong?" I asked him while placing my hand on his.

"Aahana came to me today." He started but stopped and turned me around to hug me properly.

"I just don't want to talk about it but since you are my wife you should be aware of what happened." He sighed while kissing my hair.

Seeing him so distressed diminished all my curiosity and I just hugged him hard.

"Akshay, I heard." Listening to my confession Akshay tried to get away but I kept hugging him.

"Ma has asked me to call you downstairs, so I heard last bits of it." - - He tensed even more. - - "Baby, don't worry about it. I am happy that you made it clear to her."

"Hmm, But I still need to tell you what all happened before you came. " He said while stroking my hair.

"Do it when you have processed everything emotionally." I reassured him.

Aahana' s POV:

How dare he?

Akshay Singhania - Today you have insulted me in worst way possible. You insulted my love. What you called me- a slut: throwing myself at married man. That I am not worth to have any place in your life.

You don't know that a woman's wrath can burn down the whole damn world, even the mighty Akshay Singhania.

I will show you that if love can protect you from all the evils of the world, then it can destroy you as well. Get ready to be destroyed by me.

With that I picked my phone and messaged "I am in."

Akshay's POV:

Sometimes, human actions can not be deciphered nor their emotions.

Was I feeling distressed because I insulted Aahana yet what I said was all true?

Today, she lost whatever little respect she had when she had offered herself to me willingly even after knowing that I am married.

I said some harsh words to her which she deserved but why this distress?

Is it because my mother, my wife and now Keerti as well are such strong women for whom self respects matters a lot and seeing Aahana that way shook me?

No, I have dealt with both men and women worse than her in my life, then what is it?

Is it the distress for what it can lead to? Aahana is very self-absorbed and egoistic. She can hurt my Sanjana in all this.

Even the thought of Sanjana being hurt makes my heart bleed. Is this heaviness in my heart all about Sanjana?

I know I care for her a lot but why so much distress on the thought of her being hurt?

Why her happiness, her health matters to me so much? She being my can't be the only reason.

I need to figure out my feelings for her before I go insane.

Sanjana's POV:

I am seeing Akshay pacing to and fro from last 30 minutes and he is muttering something to himself. He is like this since his talk with Aahana. What the heck has happened?

I have never seen him so distressed and disturbed. I have enough of his pacing, so I stand in front of him making him collide with me.

I held him. "Akshay relax. You are very distressed. Go out for a walk or do some work." I calmly told him.

"Work will relax me." With that he left for his office abruptly.

What the hell is going on with him?

Akshay is back to normal. What has caused this emotionally strong man to be such distressed?

This definitely has something to do with Ahaana and I need to find it out. And I will but not from Akshay.

"Sanjana, where are you going in such a rush?" Mila bhabhi asked when I collided with her in the corridor.

"I need to talk with Ahaana right now. It's urgent." I briefly explained and rushed again.

I knocked on her door and entered, she was lying down on her with a face pack on.

"Ahaana, I need to talk to you." I said while sitting down on sette.

"I am busy and I don't want to talk." she muttered.

"I see. But you will talk to me, if you don't want people to know about your affair with your driver." I told her calmly.

"How do you know?" She asked while sitting abruptly and throwing the mask away.

"None of your business but let me make some things clear to you. If you ever approached Akshay again about your undying love drama, I will make you regret it." I finished and was about to walk out when I was interrupted.

"Well, someone reciprocates that love." She lied.

"I can see how well because that someone was itself telling his wife about some cheap woman who approached him." I taunted.

"You.."

"I am warning you Ahaana, stay away from Akshay in every way possible otherwise it will not be good for you. Don't take it lightly." I finished and left from there.

Why do I feel like my warning will have no effect whatsoever?

I need to be very alert of this Ahaana, from what I have observed this woman is highly petty, she will definitely try to harm Akshay. Not that it is possible to harm him but I still need to be careful and keep an eye on her.
