Singhania Mansion

Sanjana's POV:

Ma and I are both on our way to Singhania Corporation both for completely different purposes. I am for overseeing the NGO work in capacity of advisor and Ma because Akshay asked her to come. But for what? Nobody knows the answer other than Akshay himself.

I am not able to deal with the curiosity as why Akshay has asked Ma to come to office. Everytime if he has to transfer or register some property on her name, his platoon of lawyers come at home.

"Alex, why does Akshay wants Ma at office?" I asked him impatiently while gobbling down on a handful of chips.

"Sanjana, honestly, I myself don't know." Alex murmured while parking the car in the slots reserved for Akshay.

"Liar." I muttered under my breath and got out of the car. Ma quietly watching me sulk.

"Even I am not as curious as you are and it concerns me." She commented while scoffing at me.

"And why is that? Because you will get to know soon and I have to wait till I am done with work." I said while crossing my arms and vigorously pressing the private elevator buttons before Alex can do it. He glanced at me with a look you give a retarded fool on the streets and in response I stick my tongue out at him.

" Very mature, Sanjana. " He muttered sarcastically.

I was about to retort when I suddenly felt a wave of dizziness hit me and I almost fell down if Alex had not steadied me.

"Sanjana, Are you okay?" A frantic Ma asked.

"Yes, I am okay. It was probably due to elevator's acceleration." I whispered while trying to gain my balance.

"Sanjana, do you need to sit down?" Ask Alex while stopping the elevator.

"No, I am okay. Its was just a glitch in my amazing system." I tried to joke while smiling weakly.

"Sanjana, it's not a time to joke. We need to see a doctor." Ma exclaimed while supporting.

"I am fine. We both have important works to do. Let's finish that first and if I will not be still feeling well, we can go to the doctor." I said while taking few deep breaths.

"Okay, if this happens again I don't care if you are in a meeting or not, I am dragging you to hostipal." Ma said while trying to calm herself down.

"Okay but for now I am fine. Don't overworry yourself otherwise Akshay will kill me." I tried to lighten her up even though I was still a little unsteady.

"Sanjana you are too much. Even now you are trying ease my worries than worry for yourself." Ma said while hugging me. I hugged her back and whispered a quiet 'I love you' to her.

"Don't be so cheesy now and finish your work quickly so you can rest." And with that we parted our ways. She to Akshay's office and I to the conference room.

Neelanjla's POV:

My decision of marrying Akshay to Sanjana has not been wrong. Even though there is not any change in the cold, ruthless Akshay's demeanour but you can see happiness in his eyes now. The empty pools of his are now filled with happiness and that's all because of Sanjana. She has filled that empty hollow of his life and I pray to God for their happiness.

When Claire saw me she rushed to escort me to Akshay's office.

"Ma'am, you are here. I will give a call to Mr. Singhania and let him know." Claire said while opening the door for me.

"Where is he?" I asks her while taking a seat on the couch.

"He is on the rounds." She said while handing me a glass of water.

"Thank you, Claire." I said while taking glass from her.

She left me after offering me few refreshments. I was going through the magazines when Akshay arrived.

"Mum, you are here earlier than I anticipated. You did not even informed me." He stated while taking seat beside me.

"I came with Sanjana otherwise it would have been just waste of resources." I answered while helping myself with a creamy and moist red velvet pastry.

"Sanjana is here?" Akshay asked nonchalantly but the faint happiness can be detected from his tone.

"Yes, she has a meeting regarding the NGO." I answered while smiling at him.

"I see. By the way what's so amusing?" He asks while raising his left brow.

"Your happiness listening to the fact that she is here. Anyway why did you called me here?" I asked while feeding him a bite of my pastry.

"I need to tell you something which might have been difficult to digest and not divulge at home." Akshay stated carefully.

"Akshay, what is it?" I asked as his tone make me worried.

"Mum, you just don't take tension. I have everything under control but you need to know. I have Intel that whatever Rakesh is planning will be executed during Kirti's wedding." He muttered while carefully gazing my reaction.

His words hit me hard. When will my daughter get her share of happiness. What if this time also it gets ruined because of that basta*d. The thought brought tears to my eyes.

"Mum, don't worry. I have everything under control and this time I will not let him win." Akshay said with conviction while taking me in his arms.

"You don't usually divulge information to anyone. What part I am playing in your planning?" I asked after controlling myself.

"No doubt you are Akshay Singhania's mother." He stated while laying his head down in my lap.

"You just need to deal with Ranvijay's mother when time will come. I am warning you because it will be very soon." Akshay said while checking his phone.

"And why can't you do such menial task?" I asks him while running my hand through his hair.

"Because, I will be not there to handle her." He briefly explained.

"Your wife would have been a better choice than me. She has a talent of setting people straight." I jested.

"But she still has to learn a lot as she is little direct and diplomatic. And if this matter not dealt delicately rather than brazenly, it can lead to fatal results." He murmured while replying to his emails.

"I see. So, I am.." The door after a quick knock opened.

"I am so sorry to disturb, but Sanjana has fainted." A frantic Alex announced.

Akshay leaped from my lap with a grace and speed of tiger and made his way to door "What happened?" He growled while getting into elevator. His stance completely changing. The Akshay everyone feared was here. His murderous eyes glaring at Alex.

I quickly followed him.

"I am.... I am not so sure. I informed you as soon as I got to know." Alex stuttered.

"I should not have let go of the elevator fiasco." I muttered out loud.

"What elevator fiasco?" He asked while trying to control his temper. His fist clenching and unclenching.

"Sanjana.. Sanjana has a brief dizzy spell in elevator." As soon as Alex completed, his throat was in Akshay's chokehold.

"And why was not she taken to hostipal at that vey moment?" He growled out.

"Akshay, calm down. You can kill him later but now Sanjana needs you." I shouted at him while trying to pull him off Alex in vain. By now, Alex has started gasping for breath. His face turning pale and he tried to fight Akshay's hold but in vain.

By some miracle, he listened to me and took few deep breaths.

"I will handle you after this." He whispered in a deadly voice to a gasping Alex.

As the elevator stopped, a frantic Claire muttered "Mrs. Singhania is Div- 2A" and get out of the way.

Akshay was walking so fast that I was not able to keep up.

Divisions are made as a resting place in company and are quite comfortable. Sanjana was laid down on a bed cum sofa and the team of company's doctors was already checking on her.

As soon as, Akshay eneterd the hush fell in the room and everyone scattered so fast out of way to a corner that I had hard time following their movement.

Akshay made his way to Sanjana while I asked the nearby doctor what's the situation?

"As far we can tell it is because of tardiness." He murmured after checking the ipad in his hand.

"What's wrong with her?" Akshay asks in such a grave and deadly tone that it makes you shiver, after taking a seat beside her. By now Alex and his team has evacuated the division of employees.

The Head doctor glance nervously around and stuttered out "Sir.. Sir, I.. I can reach to a conclusion after knowing few details."

"What is it?" He asks while caressing her face.

"Are there any symptoms which Ma'am has in last few weeks?" He asks while keeping his eyes down.

"What kind of symptoms?" I asked while I sensed that Akshay might do something severe again.

"Anything? Change in behaviour, any sickness?" He frantically muttered while keeping his side on Akshay.

"Yes, she is sleeping and eating a lot." I said while remembering the change in her.

The doctor heaved a sigh of relief and smiled very wide.

Seeing him smiling made Akshay mad and he again leaped towards Doctor anticipating his move I and Alex stood in his way. He glowered at Alex and me but I hugged him to calm him down. His deadly gaze still set on Doctor.

"Sir, there is nothing wrong with Mrs. Singhania. She is pregnant." As soon as doctor finished Alex and I took a breath of relief. Akshay's body posture also relaxed by a fraction. A surge of joy passed through me at thought of my grandchild and a smile broke out on my face.

"We will confirm once she wakes up and will schedule a chart for hospital visits." With that doctor and his team moved away.

Akshay released himself from our hold and sat down on nearby chair still as impassive but his deadly stance not so prominent.

I hugged Alex as he congratulated me.

"How much time after she will be awake?" Akshay asks while not moving his eyes from Sanjana.

"Ten minutes top, Sir." Doctor answered.

"Leave us. I will call when she will be awake." He announced and everybody moved out.

"I am going to be a grandma." I exclaimed while clapping my hands in glee as everyone moved out. Akshay removed his eyes from Sanjana and stared at me impassively.

"Oh! My baby is going to have a baby." I gushed while kissing him on the cheek.

"Mum, don't call me baby." Akshay muttered while wiping his cheek.

"I am going to inform everyone." I said while moving out and the smile never leaving my face.

This is the best new I have heard after Kirti's wedding. My happiness has no bounds. Out of all my children, Akshay is the one I worry about most because of his cold and ruthless nature but now in his life almost everything is on track.

I pray to God to keep his happiness intact.
