It was during the evening when Reebell came back.

"I didn't get to know what happened last night but I got hold of some very important and exciting information." He said urgently.

"What?" I asked. Maybe it's about me being an OP character. It would be great if I had the power similar to a god.

"Light magic is the magic of god and since you are blessed by God the light magic won't work you." Reebell said and I became flustered.

"But isn't light magic a healing magic....how is that good??" I deadpanned.

"First of, Light magic can also be used for offensive purposes and those attacks are strong. Second, You don't need light magic to heal you. I asked the council and they gave me a pendant infused with their power. It can heal your injuries almost instantly as long as its not dark magic. But don't let others know of its presence. Items blessed by gods can make people greedy and resort to dirty tricks to have them." Reebell said giving me a dark blue crystal enclosed by a silver chain.

The crystal held by the delicate silver chains had mesmerising blue colours. I tied the necklace around my neck and instantly felt a new power flow through me. I felt more energetic.

"Although I felt like they were hiding something about your rebirth, they did tell me what happened last night. You entered a soul barrier. It restricts a soul from surpassing it. So it didn't let me come through. But your soul doesn't belong to this world so the barrier was not able to recognize your presence. According to the barrier your soul shouldn't exist."

"Does that mean I can enter restricted places without triggering an alarm?" I asked with a wicked smile on my face.

I could prank anyone without them knowing.....

"Yes, it does." Reebell also had the same expression as me. I wonder what he is thinking.

(Reebell's thoughts: Hehehe!! That means I can make him steal the most precious treasures of people without them knowing.)

"It's evening now, you need to start practising how to start controlling my power." Reebell said and we went to the back garden. I went to a secluded area and looked at Reebell.

"Why don't you do the magic. Why do I have to do it?"

"I'm just a guide for the lost souls. Using my power to change the future of the world is against the rules. But it's different for you. You can OOC." He simply said.

"Now, I will transfer some of my power to you. Start by feeling its presence." I nodded and closed my eyes. I felt a foreign energy floating in my system. It was gold and green in colour. I tried getting hold of it but failed.

"Try again, try to capture the power. Make it change its shape according to your will." I heard Reebell's faint voice like an echo.

After many fails I finally gained a hold on the power and my eyes fluttered open. As soon as I opened my eyes, I was met with blinding lights.

'It's morning. You did it quickly. It would take at least 7 months for people to gain hold of a power that doesn't belong to them."

"Young master.....young master, Are you here?" I heard a voice calling out to me.

"Yeah, I am here vera." Vera came from behind the thick layers of trees and bushes holding a tray.

"I went to your room to serve breakfast but you weren't there. You really like spending your time in the garden nowadays, I am happy that you are ready to get out of your room now." Vera said lovingly putting a tray on the stone table that was in the garden.

"Tell vera to not disturb you today." Reebell said.

"Vera, I would be busy doing the school work that I missed when I was sick. So I hope that you wou-" Vera interrupted me before I could finish.

"Ok, I will not disturb you today. Work hard to catch up with the students in your class." She said excitedly while running back the way she came.

"She has a lot of energy for an old woman." Reebell said.

I went to the food to eat a slice of the delicious-looking dessert when Reebell beat me to it.

"You are not getting anything. If you stop now the flow of the energy will change again and you would have to spend another day trying to control it." Reebell snatched the pie out of my hand.

"But I did not eat anything since yesterday. I am hungry." I whined like a child hoping that he would show some mercy.

"No can do." He said shamelessly gulping down the big slice within seconds.

I grumbled and closed my eyes again.

"Feel the energy coming to you, bring to your arm slowly, guide it toward the palm and then to the tip of your fingers, then let the power flow from your body towards the environment."

I could feel the power travelling through my body. I pushed it to my fingers and then to the little sapling in front of me. I could feel the little plant become a giant tree.

"What the hell..." I heard Reebell say and I opened my eyes to see the wonder that I just did.

My eyes landed on my creation and........

"What the hell...." I said as I looked at the still small plant with its leaves withered.

"Where did this go wrong." I looked at Reebell and asked.

"I-i don't know. I mean you did everything right. Let me just-" He came near me and put his tiny hand on my head. Everything was silent. His green eyes glowed and I felt as if something was rummaging my insides.

Soon his eyes stopped glowing and he looked at me.

"You don't have enough mana." He said and I gave him a confused look.

I am using his magic. Why do I need mana for that???

"Look, I can act only as a regulator so that my magic doesn't go haywire but if you don't have the mana required, it won't work. It's like, I give you a car but with an empty fuel tank. It will stay with you but in order to use it you will need to have the fuel required."

"So you mean you gave me the car but I don't have the fuel." I nodded in understanding.

"Exactly." Reebell floated in the air in deep thoughts.

"There is a way." He said looking up. "If you don't have the fuel buy it." I frowned.

"What do you mean? Where can I buy mana?"

"There are mana amplifiers that can amplify your existing mana. You don't have much but if you amplify it you will be able to use my powers."

"But normal mana amplifiers amplify mana up to 4 times. Do you think that would be enough?"

"No, but the amplifier that can amplify your mana up to 50 times lies in the royal palace."

"The king wouldn't just give it to me because I asked him to." I said.

"I never said you would have to ask." He said lowly, looking away.

"What are you implying?.....Ooohhhh no no no no no . We are not going to steal from the imperial palace." I said overwhelmed at the idea.

"What can we do? You will get killed if you don't learn how to use magic. And besides barriers don't work on you. It would as easy as taking candy from a child." He said trying his best to justify his suggestion.

"You do realize that you are calling the emperor of the nation a child." I smiled. He knew that I valued my second life too much, so I agreed.

"Let's rob the royal palace." I said and Reebell fist-bumped the air.
