Chapter 5: Picture Madness (Filler)

Itsuka's residence

The sound of the door opening was hear as Yoshino walked in. She turn on the light...only to be suprise by the sound of birthday whistles followed by two voice yelling. "SURPRISE!!"

Yoshino blinked in shock when she saw the room. There was decoration around the room. Along with a cake in the middle. In the center were Shido and Tohka who wear a birthday hat with a excited expression on their face. Sitting on the couch were Kazoki and Tenka who also wear a birthday hat. But unlike the others two, neither of them were excited.

"Wa..Wa-" Yoshino was stunned. While Yoshinon was more expressive. "What is this?"

Shido smile. "Me and my sister, Kotori, has talked a little bit, and we've decided to make a surprise party to welcome you and Tohka."

He turned toward Tenka. "That include you as well, Tenka."

Tenka only stare at him...before she turn away with a scoff. Shido sweat drop. "I guess she still mad at me."

"Come on, Tenka!" Tohka put her hands on her hips and pouted. "It's not Shido's fault if he has the memory of a goldfish." Shido look at her in shock.

"T-Tohka?!"

"Whetever he has a good memory or not, he should have know better then wasting our time!" Tenka sais annoyed.

"Wasting your time?" Yoshinon asked. "What are you talking about?"

Shido turn toward her and sigh. "Well, you see, we decided to make a picture to give it to you as a present. But, i don't know is you're going to like it."

He reach in his pocket and pull out a picture. "Here."

Yoshino take the picture and look at it. On it was Shido, Tohka, Kazoki and Tenka sitting together. After a moment, she smile. "I like it."

Shido blink, then smile as well. "Really? That's good. This was easy to make for us."

"Yeah, for you, maybe!" Kazoki cross his arms annoyed. Everyone turned toward him. "But for the rest of us? This was a absolute annoyance!" Tenka nod in agreement.

"What do you mean by that?" Yoshinon asked.

Kazoki sigh and look to the side. "Everything started this morning..."

Earlier That Day

Kazoki was watching Pokemon while Tenka keep playing Dragon Ball: The Breakers. She was fighting the Raider, thanks to the Dragon Transformation. And she was winning! Tenka smirk. "Yes. A few more second, and i will finaly defeat this-"

DRING!

The sound startled Tenka who look around. "What was that?"

A sound catch her attention. Looking to the game she saw that she lost...again. Tenka clench her fist. "SON OF A B####!!"

Tenka then throw the console toward the wall. However, Kazoki managed to catch it. He put the console back to the couch and get up. "I'll get this."

Kazoki walk toward the door, before Tenka stop him. "No. I'll go. I want to see who has the nerve to stole my victory."

The boy shrug. " Suit yourself."

Tenka walk toward the door and open it. Shido was standing here with a smile. "Hello."

His smile become a nervous one when he saw the glare that Tenka was giving him. "W-What's wrong?"

Tenka raise her fist. "I'll give you ten second to tell me why i shouldn't kill you, Shibo!"

Shido blink. "What? Why? What did i-"

Tenka crack her knuckles. "1...2...3-"

"STOP!" Shido hold his hands. "I'll talk! I'll talk!"

A explaination later

"A picture?" Kazoki blinked.

Shido nod. "Yes. I'm planning to make a present for Yoshino and i though that a picture of all of us together would be the right choice."

"And you want me in because?" Tenka rose a eyebrow.

Shido scratch the back of his head. "Well, Tohka has insisted that you're in the picture, because she think that it will help you to get adjusted to...our Home?"

It sounded more like Shido was try to convice himself...either that or he was making an excuse.

"I refuse!" Tenka cross her arms. "I don't see the point to take an picture of myself. Not to mention th-"

"Did i forget to mention that you receive an free meal?" Shido asked with his hands on his hips.

"...Let's go!" Tenka take Shido and Kazoki's arm and drag them outside.

Itsuka's residence

"So, why i'm here again?" Kazoki asked with crossed arms.

"Because if i'm get though this, then so are you!" Tenka said as she keep keep holding him.

"Can you at least let me go?" Kazoki said annoyed. "If i'm gonna be in the picture, i want to choose my own position."

"Fine." Tenka let go of him. At this moment, Shido and Tohka came out the house, with the former holding an Camera. "About time you've got here."

"We've being gone for two minute." Shido pointed out.

"I'm happy that you could join us, Tenka!" Tohka said with a smile. "Since this is your first picture, i've wanted it to be special!"

"...Thank." Tenka said uneasy. She still don't know what to think of Tohka. True be told, she still haven't got used to this hole "Sister" thing.

"Anyway, can we start now?" Kazoki asked impatient. "The sooner we get though this, the sooner i'll goes back to my home and watch Pokemon."

"It's also my Home." Tenka remind him.

"You get the point!"

"Alright, calm down, let us just install the Camera and we'll begin." Shido said before he procced to do so. "...Hum?"

"What's wrong, Shido?" Tohka asked.

"Nothing! It's just..." Shido try to look over at the Camera...only for him to accidently hit the flash button, blinding him for a moment. "GAH!"

"Heh!" Tenka smirk in amusement.

After recovering his sigh and installing the Camera, Shido walked toward them. "Alright, now let's goes into your position."

"Position?" Tohka cocked her head.

"Yes." Shido show a sketch of all of them sitting in front of the House. "I've made a draw of the picture i would like to take. Here."

On the Draw was Shido, Tohka, Tenka and Kazoki sitting together at the entrence of the Door. Shido and Tohka has happy smile while Tenka and Kazoki has a indifferent look on their faces.

"Wait." Tenka look at Shido with a frown. "Are you telling that i should sit...with you? All of you?"

"Please, Tenka!" Tohka look at her with a sad look.

Tenka glance at her. Then sigh. "Fine. Let's do this."

Tenka goes to sit at the entrence. Kazoki was about to site in the opposite direction, when Tenka grab his hand and made him sit next to her. "If i'm going to have two person sitting beside me, then i would rather like that it be you. I like your company better then Shibo."

"...I take that as an compliment."

Tohka sit to Tenka's other side while Shido prepare the Camera. "Okay, i put it on 10 second. Here we go!"

Shido quickly goes to sit beside Tohka. However, the picture was taken right before he arrive, much to his shock. "Oops. Look like i set the timer wrong."

Shido goes back to the Camera and investigated. He presse the button and goes to sit with the others...only for the Camera to flash one second later, resulting in a picture of Shido running away.

Kazoki cross his arms. "If anyone ask me, it look like it got your best side."

Shido ignore his mockery and goes back to the Camera. "This time, we should be alright. I set the timer on 30 second."

He got in position with the others. "OK, guys! Look at the camera and say, 'Cheese!'"

Tenka glance at Kazoki. "Why does we have to say the name of a food when we take picture?"

Kazoki shrugged uncaringly. "Who know?"

The four of them look at the Camera. "Cheese!"

Silence. They waited for the flash to come but it didn't.

"So, i think that it broken-" Tohka turned toward Shido...right before the Camera flash. Resulting in a picure of Tohka looking at Shido.

Shido frown and goes to the Camera before pushing the button and going back to the others. "Say, Cheese."

The other three did it. "Cheese!"

Then, a pigeon appear, walk up to the Camera and fly in top of it. He look at the camera...before it flashed! Scaring away the Pigeon who flew toward Tohka's mouth. She plit out. "Gross!"

The pigeon shake his head before he fly away. Shido run toward the Camera and hit the button again. He run back with the others and they all get in position. However, the Pigeon came back and pushed the Camera, resulting in a sideway Photo of the four of them. With Kazoki and Tenka looking frustrated, Shido annoyed and Tohka being suprised.

Kazoki frown. "Okay, this is starting to become ridiculous."

Shido walk up to the Camera and pick it up. "Okay, let's try twenty second."

He push the button and run back to the others. "Say, Cheese!"

"Cheese!"

A squirrel arrive from behind the house and jump on Tohka. "AHHH! GET OFF! GET OFF! GET OFF! GET OFF! GET OFF! GET OFF! GET OFF! GET OFF!"

"Tohka! Calm down!" Shido try to help Tohka who run around the house.

The Camera flashed. On the picture was Shido chasing after Tohka who has a Squirrel on the face. With Kazoki facepalming and Tenka rosing a eyebrow.

Present

"And That's pretty much how it went all day along." Kazoki crossed his arms and look outside the House.

Earlier That Day

Shido push the Button once more. "Say, Cheese!"

"You know, talking about Cheese is making me hungry." Kazoki commented. "Lasagna!"

Then, someone arrive and stand in front of the Camera. Kazoki and Tenka narrowed their eyes. "Him?!"

Kumagawa Misogi smiled. "[Hello!]"

The Camera flashed once more. This time, on the Picture was Kazoki and Tenka looking at Kumagawa with annoyance with Shido and Tohka being confuse.

"And another Picture ruined." Kazoki glare at Kumagawa. "Thanks a lot, Misogi!"

Kumagawa cocked his head. "[Oh? Aren't you happy to see me, Kazoki-San?]"

"After what you pulled last time? No." Kazoki shake his head.

Shido look at the two confuse. "You know that person?"

"Yes." Tenka get up and glare at the smiling black hair boy. "Thanks to him, we've being chased through the City by Human dressed in blue."

Shido blinked. Human dressed in blue? Was she reffering to Cops?

"[It was just for fun, though.]" Kumagawa waved off. "[There is no need to have grudge over that...anyway! I see that you're taking a picture together. Can i join?]"

"No." Kazoki shake his head. "This Picture is between the four of us. In any case, you're to close of the Camera."

Kumagawa blinked. "[Oh? How far should i be?]"

The next second, Kumagawa was launched toward the house of the Neighbor. "[WHOAAAAAA!]"

"About that far." Kazoki lowered his leg in which he kicked the guy and goes back to his position with the others. "Cheddar."

Meanwhile, Kumagawa race behind them and the Camera flashed. Now on the Picture was Kumagawa hugging the waist of a irritated Tenka and a annoyed Tohka. With Kazoki and Shido looking at him with anger and bewildered respectively.

A few second later

"[How far are you sending me this time?]" Kumagawa asked as he was tie to chessboard-patterned rocket with rope.

"Maybe you can have your picture taken with the martians." Kazoki, sick and tired of Kumagawa's antic, held out a remote and pressed the button for the rocket. Kumagawa is send fly with a scream. Kazoki smirk and wave. "Goodbye! Farewell! And don't come back!"

Shido, now exhausted from having to run back and forth about a dozen time, grunted as he reactive the Camera and reset his position with the others. "...You know what to say."

"Cheese!" Tohka and Tenka said, the former with a smile and the latter with a frown.

Then, a voice speak up. "Shido."

The four look over and saw Tonomachi who decided to stand in front of the Camera. He look at the blue hair boy with a smile. "I have buy some Chocolate and was wondering if you would like some."

The Camera flashed, with a photo of Tonomachi being seen.

"Sorry, but we're try to take a photo here!" Shido frown annoyed. They shoul be already done!

Before Tonomachi could answer, Tenka get up, grab him and lead him away. She come back a few moment later and sit down with a frown. "I have enough of this! I'm warning you, Shibo, this is the last time i'm saying the word, 'Cheese!'"

Shido hurry back, reset the Camera and goes back with the others. Kazoki stare at the Camera bored. "Yogurt."

Then, they all hear a sound. Tohka look around. "Do you hear that?"

They all do the same. The sound became more and more clear. It sounded like...buzzing?!

The next thing they know, they were assaulted by Bee Swarm. "AAAAHHHH!"

Tenka shake her head and try to chase the bee that wanted to poke her face. "What the hell is that?!"

Shido protect his face. "Bee Swarm?! What are they even doing here?!"

Tohka was about to speak when a Bee flew in her mouth. She quickly spite it out. "So gross!"

Kazoki tapped his head to scare away Bees. "You've got to be kidding me!"

The Camera snap a great Photo of the four of them being attacked by Bees.

Kazoki, worn out and tired, walk to the front Door. "It's offical. We're cursed."

Tenka and Tohka follow him, both of them also tired of this madness. Tohka look down in frustration and sadness. Tenka glance at her, and even she started showing sympathy for her Sister.

Shido, who was tired as well, try to restart the Camera again, the tripod it sit on crumples in a heap. Shido sigh before trying to set it back up, only for it to fall flat again. He scream in frustration, grab the Camera, shake it and then plants it angrily on the ground. The Camera bounces like a bobblehead doll before Shido steadies it and prepare to head back with the others when his phone rings. He pick it up. "Hello?"

"Shido!" Kotori's voice was hear, causing Shido to wince. "We feel Tenka's presence not to far away from you! We need you to go there and seal-"

"Kotori!" Shido cut her off with a frown. "Now is not the time! We're try to make a picture for Yo-" He clamp his hand to his mouth when realise what he was going to say. If Kotori learn what they're doing, then she might tell Yoshino and ruin the surprise!

Then, the Camera take another Reject Photo. Shido was frozen while Kotori call him. "Shido? Shido? Are you there?"

Kazoki shake his head. "He was there. His brain wasn't, but he was."

Shido reset the Camera and get in position, followed by the others. Kazoki look at the Camera. "Pickles."

But once again, Tonomachi step in front of the Camera with a smile. "Hello!"

He turned toward Shido, Tohka, Kazoki and Tenka. "So, i was passing by and i realised that the Chocolate i wanted to give was actually peanuts butter! What a surprise! It looked just like a Chocolate! So, how is that Picture of you?"

Right on cue, the Camera flashed once more. Making another failed Picture. Shido and the others look at Tonomachi in annoyance. "Perfectly."

Furious, Tenka walked to the Camera and pushed a button. "This is starting to be stupid!"

Tenka goes back with the others and get in position. They are ready when they hear someone screaming. "[YAAAHHH!]"

Kumagawa, who was still tie to the Rocket, crashed next to them. Kazoki and the other duck as the Camera flashed again.

Shido, Tohka and Tenka watched in shock as the boy came back. Kazoki get up and blinked before he frown and take the Remote from before. "When i said 'Don't come back', i actually mean it!"

He presse the button, reactiving the Rocket, and Kumagawa was send to through the Earth. Kazoki block the hole made with a tree stump. He glance at Shido and Tohka who looked worried. "If you think this is cruel, then you don't know Kumagawa Misogi. Trust me, it's necessary."

Tenka nodded in agreement. Shido sweat dropped. "Okay...as long we can have a Picture."

Shido prepare the Camera one more time and they all get in position. But then, Shido scratch his nose, causing the others to glare at him. "Sorry. My nostril is itching."

The Camera flashed, causing another failed picture.

Shido goes to presse the button before running back to the others. Kazoki yell out. "Rabbit!"

The Picture failed.

Tenka goes to presse the button before running back to the others. Kazoki yell out. "Cow!"

The Picture failed.

Kazoki goes to presse the button before running back to the others. He yell out. "Frog"

The Picture failed.

Tohka goes to presse the button before running back to the others, only to trip. Kazoki yell out. "Swim!"

Tohka get up and bring the Camera's tripod and bring it to the front door. Kazoki call out. "No, you dingus!"

Kazoki bring back the Camera before pressing the button and running back to the others. All of them have either annoyed or tired expression. "Pizza/Cheese."

The sky get dark and rain pours down as the next picture is taken. Kazoki deapanned. "Oh! What a surprise! And the Weather who say that the Sun will be raised all the day!"

Shido collaps on the floor, exhausted.

After the rain pased, Shido tries it again. "Say Cheese."

"I keep saying 'Cheese' and not getting any." Tenka complained annoyed. She hoped that she get something from all the thing she did today.

"I don't have any idea anymore." Kazoki muttered. "Apple!"

Then, the log Kazoki used to block Kumagawa's hole pops up, and Kumagawa photoboms the shot putting himself in front and center, much to Shido's chagrin, Tohka's surprise, Tenka's irritation, and Kazoki's annoyance. "No comment."

Shido prime the Camera once more before he turn toward the others. "Alright, now, before i set the timer, i need to make sure if nothing goes wrong. Is everything okay? No rain shower imminent?"

Tenka was standing on a chair, that she get out of nowhere, and scan the sky. "Not a cloud for miles."

"No one's nose itches?" Shido prepare the Camera.

"Everything is fine, Shido!" Tohka assured.

Shido nodded before he put his hands on his hips and frown. "No one's going to interrupt us?"

He glance to the side and see Tonomachi and Kumagawa, who are both tie up and gagged to each other. They utter muffled speech in protest.

Kazoki shake his head. "No one's going to interrupt us."

"Fine, i'm starting the timer!" Shido presse the button and goes back to the others. "Say, 'Cheese!'"

"Food!" Tohka's eyes sparckled as a Pizza man arrive with a Pizza in hand.

"Someone ordered a large Pizza with saussage and Ketchup?"

Kazoki get up and walk to take the Pizza, much to the others's shock. "NO!"

And another Picture failed.

Kazoki was sitting on the ground, eating his delicious Pizza. Before he notice the look that Shido, Tohka and Tenka were giving him. He glare at them. "Hey! It's your fault too! You're the one who make me think about this all the day!"

Suddenly, a Machine appear out of nowhere, much to their shock, before a pink hair girl came out followed by a orange hair boy. The girl look around. "Rito! We finaly managed to goes home!"

The orange hair boy, who must be the one called Rito, looked awkward. "Lala. I don't think this is our City."

"Really?" Lala binked before she spot the Camera and grab it. "I know! If we use this Camera, i can make a Invention that could travel across Dimension and send us back Home!"

"Wait, Lala!" Rito said before the pink hair girl dragged him in the Ship and leaved the Planet.

Kazoki, Shido, Tohka and Tenka blinked, wondering what did they just witnessed. Before it's dawned to them. The Camera was gone! Tenka gritted her teeth before she stand up. "That's it! I can't take it anymore! This has gone long enough!"

"Agree." Shido nodded annoyed. "It's time to do something drastic. Let's go see a professional."

Shido walked in a direction...before stopping when he notice that the others don't follow him. Turning around he saw the other looking at him with a strange look. "What's wrong?"

"...What do you mean by that?" Kazoki narrow his eyes.

Shido feel nervous for some reason. "Hum. Since we can't take a picture ourself, then we can ask someone else to do it."

Tenka suddenly look at the ground. Before she spoke in a calm voice. "So, if i understand correctly, this entier time, we could have asked another person to take a picture of us instead of making a fool of ourself?"

Shido feel more and more nervous. When she put it like that... "Yes?"

Tenka say nothing...before she look up and glare at Shido while cracking her knuckles. "4...5...6."

Shido paled when he remember the even of this morning and waved his hands. "Hold on! Please, listen!"

"9...10!"

BAM! BOM! BING! BEM!

Tohka winced while Kazoki shrugged as they watched Shido being beaten up by Tenka.

Later at an Photography Place

"OK! Is everyone ready?" Asked the Photographer. He was a middle aged man with brown hair and a moustache.

"Do you think this look OK" Shido asked as Tohka was sitting beside him on the couch.

"Of course it look OK." Assured the Photograper. "I am one of the world's greatest professional Photograpers. I can make anyone look good. Even the four of you."

Shido smiled. "Alright...i think."

Kazoki, who has Tenka sitting on his laps for some reason, glance at the blue hair boy annoyed. "If we have done this from the start, we wouldn't have to act like a bunch of clowns all the day."

"Here, right. Here we go!" The Photographer hold his Camera. "1, 2, 3, Cheese!"

"I would like one of those Pizza." Tenka mused.

Several Photo were taken. The Photographer smiled. "Magnificent! I've outdone myself! I shall make a print for your friend!"

The Photographer run off while the four others were a bit dazzed from the flashing light. They all sighed in relief.

Present

Kazoki sigh. "And all of this so that we could give Yoshino as Picture."

It was clear that after what's happened today, none of them would take Picture unless it was necessary.

"Well, it was a great Photo and Yoshino and i thanks you for all of this." Yoshinon said before looking at the Photo and chuckles.

"What is it?" Shido cocked his head.

"Nothing! It's just...you have a funny look on this picture." Yoshinon said with amusement.

Tohka blinked. "A funny look? Let me check!"

Tohka get up and look at the Photo...only to yelp in shock. Tenka cocked her head. "What's wrong?"

Tohka said nothing, only point at the Picture. Curious, Kazoki, Shido and Tenka all look at the Photo...only for Shido to freeze, Tenka to frown, and Kazoki's eyes to twich. "You've got to be kidding me."

On the Picture, we could see Kazoki, Tenka, Shido and Tohka winging at the brightness of the Flash. Seeing this, Shido started to stammer. Yoshinon point at him excited. "That's it! That's the look i'm talking about!"

Kazoki grunted. "Well, one thing for sure, this is a surprise party that none of them would forget."

Well, there is it. I said that it would be done Yesterday, but i was busy...well, better late then never.

This Chapter was inspired from the Episode "Family Picture" of The Garfield Show. With Kazoki and Tenka in the role of Garfield. Tohka in the role of Odie. And Shido in the role of Jon Arbuckles. Along with Kumagawa Misogi and Tonomachi in the role of Nermal and the Neighbor respectively. I though that it would be funny so i decided to do it.

When do it take place is up to you. This Chapter is a filler anyway.

Rito and Lala are from To Love Ru.

I wanted to use Yoshino's birthday as an excuse to throw a party, but since none of them know about her origin. I think it won't be possible. So instead, i've decided to make Shido celebrated Tohka, Tenka and Yoshino coming in their lifes.

The Next Chapter will either conclude or skip Kurumi Arc. Depend if i have idea or not.
