Chapter 18

The next day, Can and Sanem went to get Nihat and Mevcabi from the hospital. Leyla was leaving, and Emre was going to take her to airport.

When they got back to the neighborhood, everyone was out to wish Nihat and Mevcabi well, and to tell them that they have their support in anything they need.

CAN: "Sanem it's  nice the way the neighborhood came out for your aunt and uncle to show them support."

SANEM: "yes, it's always been like that, even when my parents died, they took care of us, we were never alone, and there was always a home cooked meal"

Can and Nihat walked to the Bakal together and Sanem stayed with her aunt to help with dinner.

Nihat had tears in his eyes, when he saw the Bakal for the first time after the fire. Can felt so bad for him, he put his arm around his shoulder and said " "uncle Nihat don't worry, we will rebuild it, we will make it better than it was before. Did you have insurance?"

NIHAT: " yes, thank god. I just hope that it will cover everything."

CAN: " don't worry it will, I want to be here with you when your insurance agent comes, if that's okay with you"

NIHAT: " of course son, I can use your help. I don't understand much about stuff like that, and Can, thank you again for what you and Emre did, you put your life in danger to save me, if there's anything I can do for both of you just ask." " I owe you my life" They hugged each other and started walking back to house.

Sanem and Can, went back home after dinner, and took a night swim together. Can cornered Sanem in the pool and he started kissing her neck, she had her arms around his neck.

SANEM: " Can, your parents might come out"

CAN: " no they won't I gave them strict orders not to come out"she starts giggling, "Can, no you didn't, stop it." And he starts kissing her and presses himself up against her.

CAN: " Sanem, I can't get enough of you, I want to be inside you so bad." she looks him in the eyes and scratches his soft beard.

SANEM: " Can, I want you to, but I don't know if I'm ready, are you okay with that?"

CAN: " it's very hard bebek, but I want what you want, I will never force you to do anything you don't want to do, do you trust me?"

SANEM: " with my life Can, (she kisses him softly) thank you for waiting, my life."

He starts tickling her with kisses all over and she starts laughing so hard, she tries to get away from him, but he catches her, picks her up and throws her in the water. She comes up laughing.

SANEM: "just for that Can Divit, you're going to have to wait longer than you thought." And she starts running away from him and he starts chasing her. They couldn't stop laughing. He grabs her and kisses her and lays her down on the grass and he's half on her half of. She looks at him, and smiles so sweetly he loves her smiles. " Can, I'm going to miss you so much" she had unshed tears in her eyes.

CAN: " me too Bebek, I don't want to be away from you not even for a minute. But I have to go, I signed a contract. At least it's only two weeks. And then when I get back we will be working together." And he kisses her nose. They laid there for a little while longer, before they decided to go bed.

CAN: "You know you can sleep with me in my bed, or I could sleep in yours with you, and we can hold each other all night." She smiles and says, "I would love that, but your parents are here and I wouldn't feel right" he caresses her cheek and kisses her.

CAN: " okay my love, I will see you in the morning, good night."

SANEM: "'good night, love you."

Can went to lay down in bed, and his phone started vibrating. Polen, what the hell, she's been calling and texting me constantly, can't she get the hint that I don't want to talk to her.  Can would decline the number and she would call again. Can finally answered.

CAN: Polen, what's so important that you have to keep calling."

POLEN: " Can, I was waiting for you to call me. Didn't you like the picture I sent you."

Can doesn't want to be to nasty, maybe she is hurt, we were friends before, and we talked a lot about work and problems. But that wasn't often, we only saw each other two three times a year. But it was just friends and sex that's it nothing more and she knew it. Maybe if I talk to her nicely and try to make her understand that there is no chance for us she will accept it.

CAN: " Actually Polen, no, why would you even send that picture. You never did stuff like that."

POLEN: " Can I really miss you, I don't like this coldness between us."

CAN: "Polen, you need to understand, what we had is done over. I don't understand why you are so desperate, you hardly ever called before and now you want a full blown relationship. It's not going to happen. You've had other relationships and so have I, what we had was not two people in love , it was friendship with sex, that's it."

POLEN: " fine Can, we can be friends, come to London after your shoot and we can get together"

CAN: " I don't think that's going to happen, sorry. My dad needs me and I have to come back."

POLEN:" fine Can, we will be friends, if that's what you want. But I still want to see you, if it's friendship that you want thats what you will have. Good night Can."

CAN: good night!" Hopefully, she understood, she's not a bad person, we were friends. But nothing or no one is more important than Sanem, she is everything to me. I love you Sanem Aydin, I want to spend the rest of my life with you. Maybe when I get back I will talk to Nihat, for her hand in marriage. Yes!! I will talk to him when I get back. Can fell asleep with a huge smile on his face.

Sanem was lying in bed, smiling and thinking about Can. I love that man so much, should I give in? Girl that man loves you, he will wait for whenever you are ready. I just don't want him to find sex with someone else because I'm not giving in, he was very sexually active before me and now, nothing. Uhg, They say men need their release. Oh I don't know. I guess I'm just scared. That man loves you, he would never do anything like that, he will wait till you are ready, it probably will be hard on him, but he will definitely wait. I hope you're right.

I'm right, I'm always right. Okay, go to sleep and get out of my head. Sanem fell asleep with a huge smile on her face thinking about Can.

The next morning Sanem was up early, she wanted to go by her aunt and uncle to check up on them, and visit the home she lived in and then go to the orphanage to see her Bella. Sanem was making breakfast and she feels Can coming up behind her, he puts his arms around her waist and kisses her neck.

CAN: good morning bebek, did you sleep well?"

SANEM: " Actually I did I was dreaming of you all night."

CAN: " hmm what a coincidence, I slept well too, because I was dreaming of you too, and let me tell you it was some dream" and she starts laughing.

SANEM: " Can, is that all you think about?"

CAN: " Actually with you I think about everything, but that is definitely at the top of my list." He starts rubbing himself against him and she starts pressing back against him. And then they hear Miriban and Aziz.

SANEM: " Can, your parents " Can groans and says.

CAN: " we definitely need our own private place."

And he starts kissing her neck again and backs off, meanwhile Sanem is beet red and very hot.

Miriban and Aziz saw how red Sanem was, they knew they walked in on something, and they were happy to see them happy.

SANEM: " Can, I'm going to the neighborhood today to check on my aunt and uncle, and then to the home I lived in. I miss everyone and I want to see them, and then I want to go to see Bella, I miss her, and also visit with the other kids too.

CAN: " I will come with you, your uncle called me this morning that the insurance adjuster is going there and he wants me there to"

SANEM: " okay, let me clean up here and we can go."

AZIZ: " They look great together, don't they my love "

MIRIBAN: " They do, they are definitely like we were."

I just hope no storms hit them like they did us."

AZIZ: " yes, but those storms made our love stronger."

Miriban agreed, but then she thought of Huma, she was a hurricane not a storm. She looks at Aziz and smiles and he kisses her on the cheek.

Can and Sanem went to the Neighborhood, Can met Nihat at the shop.  When he got there the adjuster had just gotten there.

NIHAT: " Can, this is going to be a a big job, it's going to cost a lot of money."

CAN: " uncle Nihat, don't worry insurance will cover it, let me go talk to the adjuster."

ADJUSTER: Can Bey, it's a big job, insurance will cover it, but when they catch the person who did this, we will try to get the money out of him. But that won't concern Nihat bey, that's all us. The only thing is the deductibles, that's going to be five thousand" when Can heard that, he knew that Nihat didn't have that kind of money.

CAN: " listen, I don't think Nihat, realized how much the deductible is, I'm going to pay for it, but I don't want him to find out. Please, this man is struggling, he doesn't need this to."

ADJUSTER: "okay Can bey, not a problem, I will take care of it." The two men agreed and shook hands and went to talk to Nihat. " Nihat bey, everything will be covered, you will even have a cleaning crew come in starting tomorrow. And the men will start in a couple of days on repairs"

NIHAT: " thank you very much! Do I have to pay for anything?"

ADJUSTER: "no sir, everything is covered!"

and he looked at Can and nodded. They shook hands and he left.

Can explained to Nihat, how the Insurance company will go after the person who did this ,  they will probably go to court and he will have to pay the insurance company back so this way the insurance company doesn't lose money. He Can see Nihat was happy.

NIHAT: " Thank you Son, I appreciate it that you took the time to help me out, I'm not very knowledgeable with stuff like this."

CAN: " anything you need I'm here, for you, I will come by this week to check up on the workers and then Sunday I will be leaving for two weeks for a photo shoot. But Emre and my father will be coming by to, to see if you need anything."

Nihat had tears in his eyes, he hugged Can and thanked him again. " okay son, let's go see our girls and have lunch together."
