Chapter 44

Can and Sanem got home that evening, everyone was waiting for them. Including aunt Mevcabi and uncle Nihat. When they saw Sanem they all got up and hugged her, they were all So happy that she was home safe and sound.

Leyla couldn't stop hugging Sanem, "Sanem I'm so happy you're okay. I'm missed you I was so worried about you."

SANEM: "I'm fine, really, I had a guardian angel looking out for me" Sanem and Can smile at each other.

"So sit down everyone let us tell you everything that happened." They told them everything, that happened from beginning to end. And then Sanem took Leyla by the hand and told her about there parents.

SANEM:" Leyla, I couldn't believe that Meryem was actually mom, I really think they protected me and nothing happened to me. And you know they approve of Emre and Can,  they also like Aziz and Miriban, they said that we're very lucky with Can and Emre, and their parents, and you know, I think there right."

LEYLA: Sanem, I can't believe it, you know I feel them around me a lot. It's like  they're  hugging me sometimes." The girls had tears in their eyes. "What about dad did he say anything?"

SANEM: " me too Leyla, it's amazing. Dad not much, you know mom always had the upper hand and spoke for both of them, I guess it's the same in the after life!" The sisters laughed and hugged each other and went and sat next to everyone else."

Can and Sanem were glued to each other the whole night. Everyone noticed so they thought they would give them some alone time. Can took Sanem by the hand and they went to sit outside.

CAN: what are you thinking Bebek?"

SANEM: "I'm just happy that everything is over and we can go about our lives together again. Can, I miss us, just the two of us being together."

CAN: " me too Bebek, how about if we go away for a couple of days, just the two of us, with no interruptions."she hugs Can

SANEM: Can, it might sound strange, do you think Miriban might let us stay on the farm a couple of days, it's so relaxing there, that's all I want, you and me just to relax."

CAN: "I'm sure she will be fine with it. Let's go ask"the next day Can and Sanem packed up their stuff and headed for the farm.

SANEM: "Can I love it here it's beautiful,"

CAN: " bebek, I do to, let's get are bathing suits on and go swimming, and then I'll cook some steaks and grilled vegetables on the grill." Sanem went into the bedroom to put her swim suit on and Can yells, "bebek do you need help putting it on?" She starts giggling

"No Can I'm fine, I'll be out in a couple of minutes."

Sanem comes out with a one piece on, she looks beautiful but Can was hoping for her thong bikini.

CAN:" Sanem, you look amazing, but why don't you go put your thong bikini on."

SANEM: " I don't think so Can Divit, that's punishment for you, for coming home drunk that night. Sorry your going to have to wait now for a-lot of things" and she start giggling. He gets out of the pool and walks right up to her "you know Sanem you still look hot in this bathing suit, but then again you look hot in anything you wear, look what you do to me, she looks down and sees his erection. He grabs her and starts kissing her, and she pulls back and looks up at him with her hands on her hips, " I don't think so, your just going to have to wait" and he smiles and says "we will see Sanem Aydin," He picks her up and jumps in the pool with her. And he pins her up against the wall of the pool. She starts giggling. "Sorry Can it's not going to work, I won't give in."

CAN: "You don't think you will?"

SANEM: "nope, I'm a lot stronger than you think Can, and you know I Can be pretty stubborn."

CAN: "oh I know, but so can I, you know how stubborn I can be" he starts rubbing up against her and he starts kissing her neck "bebek you always smell so good, that's my scent" Sanem loves when he kisses her neck, she's starting to melt. And then he starts going down to her cleavage. " bebek, I just want to bury my face in your breast, you're so beautiful." Sanem is melting, she starts rubbing herself on Can, and Then all of a sudden she snaps out it.

SANEM: "Can Divit, you think you're so smooth"

CAN: "what" ( pretending to be confused) I don't know what you're talking about"she put her hands on her hips and looks him straight in the eyes. And he has a little smirk on his face.

SANEM: "I know what you're doing, but it's not going to work, you had your chance and you messed up, now you have to wait." And she starts to swim away, she has a little smile on her face, let him suffer a little. Can feels bad, because she was ready that night when he came home drunk, and I was a total jerk."

Sanem gets out of the pool, and Can is looking at her, man when she walks I love the way her butt moves , ah Sanem ah, we make each other crazy, but I love it when you get feisty , your so sweet. Can gets out of the pool, and goes sits next to Sanem.

CAN: "Sanem, I'm sorry I hurt you, I swear it wasn't intentional, I love you, don't you see that?"

SANEM: "Can, that night I was so excited and nervous at the same time, you know, everything looked so beautiful, the dinner table with the candles and your bedroom all lit up with candles, it was so romantic. I just wanted to be yours, I wanted to please you and make you happy. But being with her, and your climbing buddies was more important. I really started thinking that you didn't want me anymore, that you wanted trashy Achia,  she's probably more experienced in every way. Plus you have so much in common with her. And did you notice she's a girl version of you." Can looked confused, how does she look like me?

CAN: "Sanem, honey I don't know what you mean when you say she's a girl version of me. I never noticed anything about her, because I wasn't interested. Sanem, just because she likes the sports I like doesn't mean I'm interested in her. You are the only one I see mentally and physically. I was lost when you were gone, I was so worried about you. I would do anything for you Sanem. I love you for you , your sweetness, your innocence, the love you have for other people. And I love that you have no experience with other men, trust me I love teaching you, and you know you're a very good learner." She smiles and turns red, "I love you for you Sanem, I want you just the way you are" he grabs her hands and kisses them. (Okay I think I'm making him suffer enough. I know he's sorry, but he can wait a little longer). She caresses his cheek and kisses him.

SANEM: "I believe you Can, but right now I'm not ready yet, are you okay with that?"

CAN: "of course bebek, I would never force you to do anything you don't want to do. Whenever you're ready."

She hugs him and kisses him. "How about I make dinner and then we can go down to the pier for a little."

SANEM: "that's a great idea, I love it down there."

Can decided to surprise Sanem with a little romantic dinner by the water. Sanem was in the kitchen, making a salad and potatoes. She looked out the window, but didn't see Can, where did he go. Maybe he took a little walk. Sanem has a big smile on her face, should I give in to him, or should I make him wait. Girl give in, that man loves you, don't be a fool, he saved from Ahmet, he risked his life for you!" "He did didn't he, my own hunky body guard, I do love him more than myself, I just want him to be happy. "Okay then girl, make the man happy, you see the way he looks at you." "You're right, but I want to surprise him. I will figure out something."

CAN: Sanem, everything is ready, follow me."she looked at him confused.

"it's a surprise, for my girl, my one and only "

Can helped carry the rest of the food, they walked down to the pier together, when they reached the pier Sanem just stopped and stared. With tears in her eyes she turns to Can "it's beautiful Can, this is where you were when I was looking for you?"

CAN: yes, come let's sit down and enjoy our dinner."

Sanem just kept staring at Can and smiling. Can was happy to see that beautiful smile on her face.

SANEM: "Thank you Can, I love it, here"he kisses her hand, and says.

CAN: "anything for my princess." They ate and drank, talked and laughed like lovers and best friends. Sanem decided to put some music on from her phone.

SANEM: Can, dance with me, please" Can gets up, and takes her in his arms, and Sanem lays her head on his chest.

SANEM: "Can, I can feel your heartbeat, it's beating fast."

Can: "that's because I'm holding you, this is what you do to me every time you are near." She smiles and cuddles into him as much as she Can.

SANEM: "I love when you hold me Can, I feel safe and loved, I can't explain it, I wish we could stay like this forever." Can pulls out a box from his pocket. And pulls apart a little from Sanem. And Sanem looks at him confused.

SANEM: "Can, are you Okay?"

CAN: "Better than I've ever been, Sanem, I love you so much, I've never in my life thought that I would fall in love and want to be with that person for the rest of my life, and have a family, you changed me for the better, you are the love of my life "He opens the box, "Will you marry me Sanem Aydin?"Sanem looks down and then up at him, she's smiling and crying at the same time. The words wouldn't come out. So she nods her head up and down and jumps into his arms kissing him all over.

Can takes the ring out of the box and places it on her finger. She lets out a little scream from her excitement.

SANEM: "Can Divit, yes! Yes!yes! A thousand times more!! I love you, my life."

They hugged each other and layed on the pillows and watched the stars together, talking laughing and making plans for their future. They took a picture together and sent to the whole family to let them know that they were engaged.

Sanem just kept staring at the ring. "Can it's beautiful, I love it, when did you find the time to get it, after everything that happened."

CAN: "I bought it in Italy, I went that morning before I left to come home, I know the jeweler there he's a good friend and he knew I wanted something special, for the love of my life."

SANEM: " I love you Can, I couldn't have asked for anything more beautiful."Thank you, for taking time for me even though you were doing something you love."

CAN: "Sanem, I will always take time for you, I will do my best not to make you sad again." She smiled and kissed him and cuddled in is arms, for the rest of the night.
