Chapter 49

Sanem went back to the table but didn't want Achia to know that she got to her.

LEYLA: "Sanem, what was she saying to you , she's mean that one."

MIRIBAN: "I Agree, watch out for her Sanem? I don't like her at all."

SANEM: "who does she think she is, she thinks just because her family and Business is well known all over Turkey, that Can will leave me for her, because according to her there at the same level. What is her problem.!"

MIRIBAN: " first of all dear, Can was never about money and status, he doesn't care about stuff like that. He is a very humble person. All I see is a man who loves you so much that he will do anything for you."

SANEM: "I know, he's all that stuff you just mentioned. And I trust Can, there is no doubt in my mind that he loves me. But I would really love to punch that smirk of that mousy looking face of hers !!" Leyla and Miriban laughed.

LEYLA: "actually she kind of looks like a mouse!!"

MIRIBAN: " and look At all that makeup she has on, she looks fake. Sanem you're a natural beauty, and that's Can, that's what he loves about you, and of course your beautiful heart."

SANEM: "thank you Miriban. Let's just finish our lunch and get back to work, actually I need some chocolate cake too, it helps when I get frustrated!" She starts giggling.

LEYLA: "I agree, my treat, three chocolate cakes coming up!"

The girls headed back to the Agency, Emre and Can hadn't returned yet, so Sanem decided to go to Can's office to work.  When she walked in Ela was sitting on Can's couch with her legs crossed, and her mini skirt riding up her thighs.

SANEM: "Ela, may I ask what you're doing in Can's office?"

Ela: "I'm waiting for him to get back, so he can keep training me."

SANEM: "didn't he send you to Derin, you should go back her office. Can and I have an important account coming in, did Derin send you in here?"

ELA: no, I just like learning from him better. He's very patient with me." And she gives Sanem a smirk, Sanem knew she was trying to egg her on.  Then Derin enters the office. Derin looks at Sanem and tells her with her eyes she knows what's going on.-

DERIN: Ela, what are you doing in Can's office, you never come in here when he's not here, and when he is you ask for permission, do you understand!" Derin looked at Sanem and winked at her.

ELA: "I m waiting for him to train me"

DERIN: "no , I'm doing the training, he just filled in for me because I got here late that day , let's go to my office." Sanem was smiling, she was so happy Derin came in the office.

Ela got up with an attitude and looked at Sanem, but Sanem was smiling ear to ear, nodding to Derin and thanking her. In the meantime time Can and Emre returned. Can walked in his office but Sanem didn't hear him she was busy working on an account.

Can goes over sits next to her and pulls her in for a hug.

CAN: " princess, how was your lunch?"

SANEM: "nice, I brought you back a piece of chocolate cake."

CAN: " mmm my favorite, we will safe it for later, I want to eat it off of you."

She starts turning red and hides her face in his neck.

SANEM: "Can Divit, your mind is always on sex."

CAN: "only with you Bebek, I can't help it, tonight after dinner we will go to the hut, what do you think?"

She kisses him softly and nods yes.

Derin knocked on the door that Fabri has arrived.

CAN: "okay, show him in." Introductions were made but Can notices Fabri's eyes on Sanem most of the time.

FABRI: "well I must say you are grasping the concept of my new perfume. Ms Sanem, your perfume is exquisite, it's different. Who are you wearing."

SANEM: "Actually it's not a perfume it's a cream from my own private collection. I make it myself."

FABRI: "really, are you willing to share the formula, I can convert in to a cologne and also make the cream, we can make a lot of money."

Can is getting irritated, there is no way he is getting that scent that's mine.

SANEM: I'm sorry, that's only for me, and my Can here, it's my grandmothers recipe and It's very dear to my heart."

FABRI: "I see, if you change your mind, I'm willing to work with you" Can doesn't like this guy.

CAN: okay, senior Fabri is there anything else?"

FABRI: " no, I will make my decision and get back to you." He takes Sanem's hand and lightly kisses it and says "if you change your mind. Let me know."

Sanem smiles and thanks him but again refusing his offer. After Fabri left, she looked at Can, and noticed he was irritated.

SANEM: "Can, are you okay, I can tell you didn't like this Fabri character." She kisses him on the cheek.

CAN: "not really, there's just something about him that rubs me the wrong way. And thank you to saying no to his offer, I don't want you sharing that scent with anyone."

SANEM: "I would never do that, this is yours from me, it's my special gift to you. Do you know, that if another woman wore this scent it wouldn't smell the same, because of body chemistry." Can smiles and looks her up and down, making her blush.

CAN: "bebek, I love your body and your chemistry, let's get going so I can show you how much." He grabs her by the waist and pulls her in for a tight hug and a kiss

Her.  "Let's go bebek it's been a long day and I want to relax with you." He took her by the hand and walked out.

Ela is watching all this, she doesn't like how Derin is consuming her time, she wants to work next to Can.  I have to make him notice me. Derin noticed her facial expression.

DERIN: "what's wrong Ela, you need to start concentrating if you want to keep this job." Ela just looked at her and nodded her head okay.

The next couple of days were pretty busy, Ela kept trying to get Can's attention and of course he didn't notice or just didn't care, she was trying to get Can's attention with her little mini skirts. But Can is clueless. he doesn't even notice me , but when he sees Sanem his face lights up and Ela notices. What's wrong with him, I can walk in front of him naked and he wouldn't even notice me. And she's always working with him in his office together. CeCe is watching Ela, she wants Can bey, but that's not going to happen, I'm keeping an eye on you girl!!"

Can and Sanem are finishing the last of compass, and hopefully they will be happy. Sanem's phone rang.

SANEM: "hi, Kaan, what's up?

KAAN: "I have a surprise for you about your book, can you meet me at the cafe across the street?"

SANEM: "sure I'll be there in ten minutes."

"Can do you mind if I go, I won't be long, he has a surprise for me, something about my book."

Can just looked at her. "I'll come with you, I need a muffin or something." Sanem started giggling and started kissing him all over face.

SANEM: "Can, I promise I won't be long, and I'll bring you back a muffin okay." He smiles and kisses her passionately.

CAN: "okay go, and bring me back a chocolate muffin, and don't take long." She wraps her arms around his neck and hugs him tightly.

SANEM: "okay, I promise I won't be too long."

Sanem showed up at the cafe and Kaan was sitting with another gentleman.

KAAN: Sanem, this is Burak, he has an American publishing company. He wants to publish both your books in the US." Sanem just looked at both of them in shock, she couldn't believe what he was saying.

SANEM: "are you serious, my books in the US.?

BURAK: "yes, Sanem, your style of writing is unique to say the least. Especially the second book, is it a true story,?"

SANEM: "yes, it's actually my love story with my fiance Can." Kaan was surprised to hear that, they really had a turbulent love story, no wonder there so much in love. They always found their way back to each other.

BURAK: "Well my dear, if you are willing to allow me to publish it in the US I can assure you that it will hit number one in no time.!" Sanem was smiling ear to ear, she couldn't believe it. "You might have to come to New York for a book signing, but the rest is on me."

SANEM: "Wow, I don't know what say, I would love to discuss this with my Can if that's okay."

BURAK: "absolutely, Kaan will call me with your answer." They said their goodbyes and Burak left.

Kaan looked at Sanem and smiled, she couldn't sit still she was so excited.

SANEM: "I have to talk to Can, thank you Kaan for everything!!" She got up all excited and was doing a tiny happy dance and turns to Kaan and gives him the biggest hug. And flash, someone takes a picture without them knowing. She took of running back to tell Can. Leyla and Miriban see her so excited, when she walks back in to the office.

LEYLA: "Sanem, what's going on, why are you so excited?" She told them quickly what happened with Kaan and the American publisher. Miriban and Leyla were so excited for her. She ran into Can's office to tell him and sees Ela glued next to him, he's showing her something on the laptop, Ela turns to look at Sanem and gives her a nasty smile. But Can sees Sanem and he's very serious. Sanem is confused.

CAN: "are you back from your meeting?" He said a little irritated.

SANEM; "Can, I have exciting news, can you please leave Ela, this is between Can and I." Ela got up with a smile on her face that says you're going to lose him. Sanem can read right through her. She just ignored her. " Can, guess what, I just met a publisher from New York, he wants to publish both books in the US!!" She starts dancing around and goes over to try to hug him, but he kind of backs away. "Can, what's the matter, did I do something wrong, I was only gone like a half hour."

Can showed her his phone with a picture of her hugging Kaan with a huge smile on her face and him sniffing her hair." Sanem was shocked.

SANEM: "who sent that Can, as that why your upset, really, you knew wear I was, and who I was with. And it wasn't just the two of us, we were with the American publisher, here is card."

CAN : I don't know who sent it Sanem, the number is blocked." Sanem just looked at him. " no Sanem, I not mad at you, a little surprised when I got the picture yes, but not mad."

SANEM: "Can Divit, I swear if you're going to make an issue out of this." She was getting angry he puts his fingers on her lips to shush her.

CAN: "no bebek, I'm not angry just concerned, someone is trying to cause problems between us. And I don't like it."

SANEM: "Let them try, it's never going to happen, I will never give up on you." He grabs her by the waist and pulls her in for a kiss.

CAN: "I agree I'm with you Bebek.!"

SANEM: "Can, did Ela see the photo?"

CAN: "maybe, my phone was on my desk when I got the message and I opened it up, maybe she did, I didn't notice. Why?"

SANEM: "well I have a feeling that she saw it and was happy about it. And she was hoping that this will cause problems between us, so she can totally move in on you." Can starts laughing,

CAN: "Sanem are you serious, why would she think that, I didn't give her that type of attention, I'm just training her this afternoon, because Derin didn't feel good she went home early."

SANEM: "well, my hot fiance, she wants you, and she wants you bad, I'm getting dirty looks from her all the time, she definitely wants me out of the way."

CAN: "that's her problem, that will never happen bebek it's you and me forever." Can sees Ela looking right at them. He looks right at Ela grabs Sanem and gives her a very hot passionate kiss. Ela was fuming.

SANEM: "she was looking at us wasn't she?"

CAN: "You bet she was!! I'm yours and you're mine, and that my sweet angel will never change"

SANEM: "Can are you okay that I hugged Kaan, I did out of pure excitement really., you know I love you."

CAN: "when I first saw it I did get irritated, but I trust you, and I knew for you to hug him you had a good reason, I just didn't like that he was smelling your hair." Sanem just looked at him confused

SANEM: " what do you mean he was smelling my hair?" Can showed her the picture, but she still didn't see it. Can smiles at her and pinches her cheek.

CAN: "don't worry my love, all is good"

He grabs her hand and kisses it "let's go home Bebek, and you can show me how much you love me."
