Chapter 61

The next morning Sanem woke up feeling more rested, but also feeling worried about what the day might bring. Can came out of the shower and noticed Sanem was awake. He goes over to her and gives her a good morning kiss.

CAN: "good morning sweetheart, how did you sleep."

SANEM: "as long as you are near me holding throughout the night I'm great." She smiled and scratches his beard.

CAN: "are you in any pain, last night I heard you moan a little when you would try to turn."

SANEM: "it's not bad, a little better than yesterday, I'm hungry though, let me wash up and we can go have breakfast."

They family was eating breakfast, but everyone was more quiet than usual. They were trying to process everything that happened.

AZIZ: "well children, hopefully today we will have some more answers."

MIRIBAN: "yes, hopefully Metin will find something soon, so we don't have to waist more time on this."

EMRE: "I hope, I want Aylin to go to jail, I never want to hear or see her ever again." Leyla was holding his hand.

LEYLA: "that makes two of us my love, I saw that she was calling you but you declined it, I thought you declined it because I was standing next to you."  He looked at her surprised, and upset.

EMRE: "Leyla I swear nothing was going on with her, I love you, every time she would call I would decline the call.  why didn't you say something, Leyla I didn't say anything to you because I didn't want you to be upset."

LEYLA: "I guess maybe I was scared that something was going on, and that you didn't want to tell me. But then again deep down inside I did believe you were being true to me because I knew you loved me, that's why I never said anything "

EMRE: "my love, always come to me about anything, and don't ever doubt my love for you, you are my soul mate, I could never be without you."

LEYLA: "I love you too Emre,! I trust you, from now on, when something is bothering us we talk no matter what!" He kisses her and says "agreed my love!"

SANEM: "Can I'm coming with you to the office, I can't stay home, please."

CAN: "Sanem, you need to recover, I don't want you tiring yourself out it's only been a couple of days"

MIRIBAN: "Sanem, how about if we go in after lunch together for a couple of hours.  This will be better for you."

CAN: "that's a great idea, and then we can come home together. Okay?" She agreed, he's ready to leave when Metin calls.

CAN: " good morning Metin, did you find anything?"

METIN: " we're still going through the tapes, nothing yet. But we have a problem, look at the entertainment page and business page."

The family looked first at the business page, how the agency has a lack of trust, how did McKinnons account end up in someone else lap.

AZIZ: "what the hell, we have to make a statement, something, this could ruin us."Miriban was trying to calm Aziz.

And then they went to the entertainment page, and it showed the launch of the perfume, with the stolen account, and how the end of the night ended in a disaster, and a picture of Sanem at the bottom of the stairs with Can on top of her. Can was furious!

CAN: "what the hell, how can someone take a picture of someone who had just had a serious accident."

Sanem tried to calm him down, she kept rubbing his back.

SANEM: " Can, look at me, we will find out who did this. Please, (she starts crying) please Can, don't get angry, we will figure everything out, for us and the business." Can looks at Sanem, grabs her and hugs her tightly. CAN: "I'm sorry my love, please don't cry, I love you,

You have been through so much, okay, here sit down. We will go in a little later together, I promise everything will be okay." She smiles with tears in her eyes, caresses his cheeks and kisses him.

SANEM: "I know my love, but I just don't want you to worry, I think deep down inside we both know that everything will be okay." He's wiping away tears from her cheeks.

CAN: "I believe so to."

SANEM: "okay, you go with Emre and your father and I will come with Leyla and Miriban at lunch time, we can eat lunch together." He smiled

CAN: "are you sure, I can stay, I don't mind."

SANEM: "no I will be fine, I'm just a bit hormonal now from the miscarriage. But I promise I will be fine, go and I will see you soon."

The guys left, and the woman we're trying to figure out who took the pictures at the launch.

SANEM: "this is so frustrating, I can't understand how people can be so hateful. And manipulate people who are hurting like Ela."

MIRIBAN: "unfortunately, the world is full of hateful people dear, but we will surpass this and we will come out even stronger!! Right girls." They all yes at the same time. "Sanem dear are sure you are ok, any cramping?"

SANEM: "actually I'm okay, just fatigue that's about it, but whenever you are ready to go I am too."

The girls headed to the office around lunchtime time. Things were a little crazy but not as bad as they thought it would be.  It seems that a lot of the customers are still supporting the agency because they like the Divits, they feel that they are honest people.

Aziz let out a statement saying that this has never happened before, and that we will get to the bottom of this soon.  And Mr McKinnon decided to make a statement, saying it was his campaign that got stolen and I am still staying with the agency, because I have faith in these people and I know only someone who is evil and wants to do harm to others can do something like this.

SANEM: "see Can, things will be okay" he grabs her by the waist and hugs her tightly"

CAN: "I know bebek, how do you feel? Are you better than this morning.?"

SANEM; "I am, everyday a little better."

Metin came in to talk to Can and Sanem about Achia,

METIN: "I just wanted to let you know that we have Achia, but she lawyered up, she won't talk. Hopefully her lawyer is smart enough to tell her to tell the truth."

CAN: "I hope so, I can't wait till this is all over, poor Sanem is the one that suffered the most Metin.

METIN: I know Can, she has suffered the most, losing the baby must be devastating for her, that's why I'm doing my best to get everyone responsible behind bars. And damn it I'm not stopping until everyone pays."

Can smiles at Metin, Can  and Metin are like brothers they always had each other's backs."

CAN: " Thank you Metin, for everything, I owe you."

METIN: "You owe me nothing brother, but take care of my little sister Sanem, she's special that one." Can smiles .

CAN : " trust me I know, I feel blessed having her in my life. I can't wait to be married to her."

Right then one of the security guards come in and tell Can and Metin to come and watch the video clip.

SECURITY: "Metin, Can, we got something."

CAN: "let's go"Sanem, Emre, Leyla , Aziz and Miriban went to the security office to see what they found."

CAN: " look how she walks into Derins office, like she owned it."

LEYLA: " like a slithering snake" Emre squeezed her hand.

AZIZ: "At least we caught her and we have proof, she didn't know that we had security cameras put in.

They're watching the video as she's walking out.

SANEM: "Metin, look there outside the door, there is a shadow, a movement." Can grabs her hand and kisses it.

METIN: "speed up the video, let's see who's out there, is she meeting someone."  The security guard speeds up the video, it was hard to see who was outside.

So he switches to the outside camera."

SECURITY: " give  me a couple of minutes to get to that time and date."

METIN: "well , well look who do we have here, Can, it's Achia, how about that, gotcha!!"

CAN: "look you can even see Aylin giving her the USB,"

SANEM: "look,  what is Achia giving her, it looks like an envelope, can you zoom in?"

The security guard zooms in and sees Aylin taking a wad of money out and counting it."

EMRE: "that bitch. I can't believe her, too bad Aylin now you're going to get what you deserve."

METIN: "this is good!! Now I'm going to have there phones checked out, this is good. Now we need to get Fabri.!" Everyone breathed a sigh of relief."

Can hugs Sanem it's " almost over my love."

She smiled and just held on to him, like her life depended on it.

METIN: " okay I'm off, going to the judge to get a warrant for their arrest, Ela's testimony should put them away for a long time, and their some other illegal business dealings Fabri is involved in, this is good guys, we're definitely on the right track!!" Metin started to leave and Sanem stops him and hugs him. "Thank you Metin for everything"

METIN: "you're welcome Sanem, trust me I am so happy that you will receive the justice you deserve, and as well as everyone else here, I consider you all my family, you and Leyla are one of us now, family!"

Everyone gives Metin a quick hug "I will keep you all updated as things progress." And he was off.

CAN: "well Bebek how do you feel?"

SANEM: "much better, I will feel even better when Fabri is behind bars,"

CAN: "me too Bebek. It's been a crazy day, let's get something to eat, and go home so you can rest."

SANEM: "okay, let's stop by the hospital quickly to see Ela, and see when she's getting out, I just want to make sure she comes to us, because she might be embarrassed to come, and I want her to feel welcomed."

Can turns and looks at Sanem and pinches her cheeks and smiles.

SANEM: "why are you smiling?"

CAN: "because my beautiful soon to be wife has a heart of gold. Sanem you are Definitely special, I don't know what I did to deserve you."

SANEM: "Can, you too have a heart of gold, you just don't like to show it." Can laughs.

CAN: "I don't know about that, I am kind of crazy when I get angry."

SANEM: "Yes, you are, but most of the time it's for a good reason, and you did calm down, you're a work in progress." They both start laughing

CAN: "that's because I have a good teacher my princess. You're the only one that could calm me."

She kissed his cheek and said "I know, now let's go see Ela."

Can and Ela, headed to the hospital, when they walked into Ela's room, she was by herself and crying.

SANEM: "Ela, are you okay? Did something happen?"

ELA: "no nothing happened, I'm just so mad at myself, how stupid I was to let them take advantage of me and manipulate me."

CAN: "Ela, Fabri is an evil man, cunning, he's been doing this for years and getting away with it, and he has another cunning person helping him, Achia, don't worry, we will bring them down. The most important thing is that you acknowledge your mistake and try to fix what has happened. Are you still willing to testify?"

Ela looked at Can and Sanem and smiled.

ELA: "I am, I will testify, if I can put them away for life I will.!!" Sanem and Can smiled at her.

SANEM: "Ela, I have a question for you, who took my cream and recipe out of my purse?"

Ela put her head down and tears started streaming down her face.

ELA: "I did, I'm sorry Sanem, it was lunch time and everyone was out, I hid in the bathroom hoping everyone would leave so I can search your office for the cream, Fabri and Achia kept threatening me, if I don't get the cream, they would have my uncle killed. After everyone left, I went into your office, you left your purse behind and it was open on the floor, I searched and I found it. I'm so sorry Sanem, please forgive me. I was so scared of them."

Sanem grabbed her hand and squeezed it.

SANEM: "listen Ela, please relax, what's done is done, I'm just happy that you acknowledge that you did something very wrong, and you are owning up to it. it takes guts to do that."

ela smiled at both of them, she couldn't believe how good they are to her.

ELA: "thank you, actually i feel like there is a weight lifted off of me. and I will feel even better when this is over"

CAN: "that goes for us too. how is your uncle?"

ELA: "much better, he still has to stay in hospital maybe another week, but he is healing well."

SANEM: "and you when will you be released?"

ELA: "they said probably another three to four days."

SANEM: "okay, we will talk to Metin, to see how we're going to bring you back to our house because they might be watching the hospital."

ELA: "sanem, are sure, I will go home, I don't want to be a burden."

SANEM: "it's fine please don't worry. oh by the way last question, do you know who has been following us, meaning Can and I, talking pictures of us and posting them on the entertainment page." Ela thought for a minute and looked at Sanem and Can.

ELA: "actually, maybe I do, one day Fabri made me sit with him in his office with Achia and Aylin, and Aylin got a phone call, from someone, I saw her get up and walked to the corner by were I was sitting. I heard her say, good idea with the entertainment page thing, they deserve it, after she took him away from you, they both deserve it."

Can and Sanem looked at each other, and at the same time said "Polen"!!.

CAN: "Ela, I didn't notice at the launch was Aylin there?"

ELA: "yes, she was, but I hardly saw her through the night, maybe I was just scared and wasn't paying attention to her, but, yes she was there."

SANEM: "that's great Ela, thank you, listen call me when you are being released okay?"

ELA: " I will thank you."  Can and Sanem walked out of the room went to the car and just sat there for a couple of minutes.

CAN: "Bebek, what are you thinking, were you surprised that it was Polen?"

SANEM: "Actually no, how about you?"

CAN: "No, I wasn't, because as soon as she found out about us she tried to separate us, so no. But I will talk to Metin and see if there is anything we can do, maybe Aylin has some text messages going back and forth with Polen, and then we will have some proof."

SANEM: " Maybe she might have some pictures on there too."

CAN: "I'm sure she does."

SANEM; "let's go home my love, I'm hungry and tired."

He takes her hand and kisses it and says,                         CAN: "don't worry princess, everything will be over soon and people will get what they deserve."

SANEM: " I know it will my love." They smiled at each other and headed home, both feeling better that things were coming to light.
