Chapter 63

That afternoon Can and Sanem headed to the hospital to bring Ela back home with them.

SANEM: "hi Ela are you ready to go home?"Ela looked nervous.

ELA: "Sanem, are you sure about me coming home with the both of you, I'm scared, I don't want anyone coming after me and something happening to you."

SANEM: "Ela, it's fine, no one will find out, listen it's only a matter of time that Fabri will be caught, and trust me when they get him he will be going to prison for a very long time. So, get ready and we will sneak you out of here."

CAN: "let's stop by and see your uncle first, and then we can go."  Ela agreed, they went to see her uncle, and then they snuck out through the security entrance of the hospital, Metin was there with an SUV. With the windows tinted so no one can look in. When they got home they took Ela straight to the pool house to settle in.

SANEM: "Ela, this is your personal space, I lived here when I came to work for Miriban"

ELA: "Thank Sanem, is it alright if kaan visits?"

SANEM: "of course, just tell him to make sure no one is following him, go rest and I will call you when dinner is ready."Ela went over and hugged Sanem.

ELA: "Thank you again Sanem, for everything, especially for your forgiveness." Sanem smiled, and hugged her back.

SANEM: "go take a shower and relax dinner is at six."

Metin came by to give Sanem and Can an update on Aylin,

METIN; " well, Aylin took the plea deal, she told us hopefully everything she knew about Fabri. So she will be leaving Istanbul, there is a restraining order against her not to come near the Divit family and the agency, and you Sanem." Everyone breathed a sigh of relief. "The only time she can come to Istanbul is to see friends and family, but she has notify the authorities. And if she is caught anywhere near any one of you she will be arrested.! Plus she will never work in the advertising industry again!" Everyone was happy.

"Now for Polen, she found a reporter from the entertainment page and paid him a hefty amount for him to follow you.  " so with her, just like Aylin, she is to have no contact with any of you. She also has a restraining order, just like Aylin. Plus she will be sued. five hundred thousand dollars, which Sanem and Can will go to the both of you." Can and Sanem just looked at each other, they couldn't believe it. "What do you want to do with the money?"

CAN: "I think Sanem will agree with me, we would like to disperse the money evenly to the orphanage, the girls home and there is a youth home for boys  in the city also, that's we're the money should go."

SANEM: "I agree, that's where it should go" she turns and looks at Can and smiles. "Can, it's like you can read my mind." He takes her hand and kisses it.

CAN: "it's called love bebek, all I have to do is look at you and I know what you are thinking." Sanem smiles softly at Can and scratches his beard.

METIN: "Ela, I have some good news for you also, the thugs that bet you and your uncle up are in prison, and there boss, it seems that the neighborhood got tired of the violence,  they all came together and reported them after what happened to you and your uncle so they will be going to prison for a very long time, plus the money you owe,  you do not need to pay that back.  you're free and clear. and that goes for everyone else who owes him money." Ela started crying, and Sanem hugs her.

SANEM: "it's over Ela, now you and your uncle can live in peace."

METIN: "I'm not finished, it seems that the big boss has committed some murders, and he's worth a hell of alot of money, it seems he's torchered about six families in the neighborhood, they will each receive, are you ready for this?" Everyone nodded yes "you will all receive three hundred thousand dollars each"

Ela was shocked, she couldn't believe it.  Her uncle can finally relax.

ELA: "wow!! That's wonderful, thank you Metin. You don't know what this money means to people."

METIN: "my pleasure, now there is his warehouse where he conducted all his business. It might go up for an auction sale, but I was thinking Sanem, I know you will be doing business with McKinnon, but why don't you take over the building and produce your creams in there, and give people a chance to work in there own neighborhood, plus it will help this neighborhood recover." Sanem and Can smiled she gets up and hugs Metin.

SANEM: "that's a great idea, if McKinnon agrees I'm in."

METIN: "great, I will talk to him, oh and Ela, when you eventually go back to your neighborhood, you will see a lot of police present, day and night, no more looking for a police officer and can't find them.  There will be a small police station in your neighborhood. This should make it much safer."

Ela gets up and hugs Metin. She had tears coming down her cheeks.

ELA: "I don't know what to say, you have no idea what this means to the people of this neighborhood." Can looks at Metin and smiles.

CAN: " he does, he's a big advocate on human rights, he wants people to be treated equally no matter what their status, my friend here always does what's right, and it's never about the money, he won't make a penny out of this, this all about the people of the neighborhood." Metin smiled and put his head down.

METIN: "look who's talking Can, it's never about the money with you either, and your whole family.  I guess that's why we get along so well."

SANEM: "Well, I think this calls for a celebration, Miriban bring out the wine"And she starts to giggle.

"Call Derin to come. Let's enjoy the rest of the evening."

And that's what they did, Derin and Kaan came, but there was just one thing behind Can, Sanem's and Metins mind, Fabri,.  Sanem was enjoying herself with the women. Can was watching her, even though she was smiling he can still see that she was worried about Fabri.

METIN: "Can, I know you're worried, but we will catch him.  He's here somewhere, it's just a matter of time."

CAN: "I hope it's soon, I would like to get married and not have to worry about him, and I know Sanem is very worried even though she doesn't show it."

EMRE: "Can, maybe she should stay home for a couple of days, he might try to find her, knowing that he's obsessed with her."

AZIZ: "maybe Emre is right, he might be looking for her, and if she stays in one place for a couple of days he might not find her."

CAN: "easier said than done, she won't agree to that, plus there's alot to do before the wedding, and she has graduation coming up"

METIN: "I agree with Can, but wherever she goes, she doesn't go alone, always with someone."

They all agreed. "Can I have an idea, get her an air tag to keep in her wallet or her pocket. This way we can always track her."

CAN: "great idea, I think I have a couple that I used from my travels." Can looks over at Sanem and smiles.

" she's my life Metin, if he even harms one hair on her head he will live to regret it."

METIN: "with you my friend I wouldn't doubt it, but let the police handle it, okay, don't let your temper get ahead of you."

CAN: "who me, that would never happen"

The men started laughing, because they know Can's temper.

That night Can and Sanem were lying in bed holding each other.

CAN: "Bebek, what are you thinking?"

SANEM: "I'm thinking, I can't wait to marry you my love, I just want to start our life together, I love you so much. But I want everything behind us, I want Fabri arrested and put away, I want us to start our lives on a clean slate."

CAN: "me to my love, that's what I want to.  I can't wait to start my life with you. Let's just focus on our wedding, try not to think negative only positive" (pause) Sanem, I know Metin, he will get him. He's a good lawyer and he has best detectives working for him."

SANEM: "I believe so too" Sanem turned and cuddles into Can more and starts kissing his neck. "I miss you Can, I want you to make love to me. But not till our wedding night, it will be more special, don't you think?"

CAN: "Bebek, it's always special, but if that's what you want  that's what I will do, but believe me, it won't be easy. Because I want you all the time." She starts giggling.

SANEM: " me too Can, sometimes I feel like I can't control myself when you touch me, you just make me melt."

CAN: " I know how you feel, and believe me that has never happened to me before."

SANEM: "good!! I glad that no other woman has had that affect on you, and hopefully never will." He looked at her.

CAN: "Sanem, trust me no one has or never will, what did I hear a little doubt in your voice, don't you trust me?" She got up and looked at him. And gave him a light kiss on his lips.

SANEM: "I trust you, but it's something Fabri said to me the night of the barbecue."

CAN: "what did that sleaze bag say?" Can was getting angry.

SANEM: "he said that every man strays when there's a good looking woman that shows him affection. Not exactly those words but that was his meaning, including you. That even though you love me, through out the years you might get tired of me."

CAN: "that asshole!! Sanem look at me" he takes her face in his hands to face him. "That will never happen, trust me, I can't explain how I feel about you, let me ask you this, will you tire of me , if some hot good looking guy comes after you will you leave me?" She looked at him and started crying

SANEM: "Can, how can you say that, you know how much I love you, after everything we have been through, it made us even stronger.! I could never be with anyone else!"

CAN: " well I guess you just answered your own question, I feel the same way Sanem, it's you and me forever, and god help those who try to separate us."

She gets on top of him and starts hugging and kissing him, and they start getting heated.

"Bebek does this mean that I can make love to you?"

SANEM: "ah what the heck, who wants to wait till the wedding night!"

CAN: "I agree!" They made love several times that night, and fell asleep in each other's arms.

The next morning they woke feeling happy and rested.

CAN: "good morning princess."

SANEM: "good morning my love, did you sleep well?"

CAN: "always when I'm sleeping with you. Sanem here are two air tags, I don't think we have anything to worry about because you won't be left alone. Put one in your purse and the other one on you somewhere not noticeable. She looks at him and smiles takes the one air tag and sticks it in her bra. She starts giggling.

CAN; "that's a good place for it, I get to pull it out."

SANEM: "I'm okay with that, you want to practice taking it out." He grabs her and throws her on the bed and starts tickling her, she's wiggling all over the place trying to get away. "Can, Can," she keeps laughing.

He brings her close, kisses her,  pulls down her bra and grabs the air tag with his teeth.

CAN: "mmmm, I like that game, we can do that again later." He pulls her up and wraps his arms around her.

SANEM: "without the tickling" she smiles and kisses him.

CAN: "don't worry bebek, no tickling" he starts tickle kissing her neck she loves when he does that. .  "How about if we stay home today.?"

SANEM: "I think we should go to work, because we have a lot of work"

CAN; "okay, but tonight we start from where we left off."

SANEM: "I'm good with that, how about if we go to the hut after work." He takes her hand and kisses it "great idea, privacy." They had their breakfast and they were off to work.
