Chapter 74

Can was pacing back and forth, he was so worried about Sanem. Ah Sanem ah, I love you, I would never cheat on you.

Gamze came back to the room and told Can everything she told sanem.

GAMZE: "Can , I'm truly sorry, I didn't think she would do something like this. I told her I quit, I don't want anything to do with her or her company any more. Please believe me Can, I saw her flirting but this I never expected."

CAN: "okay Gamze I believe you, where is Sanem?", GAMZE: "she was walking on the beach. It looks like she needed to think."

CAN: "that's her, she always has to think things through before she talks."

GAMZE: "I'm leaving, if you need anything call me."

Can nodded his head and she left. He kept calling her but it kept going to voicemail. "Ah Sanem where are you!"

Can opened the door to go look for Sanem, and she was standing there looking at him, he pulls her in and hugs her.

CAN: "Sanem, my love, I swear, nothing happened, she came back to go over the pictures, and said she had to go to the bathroom and came out like that, I swear, I love you nothing happened and nothing would of ever happened, I love you Sanem."

Sanem knew that Can was telling the truth, because she remembers seeing Can pulling back and trying to push her away and he was very angry. And I know Can when he's angry.

CAN: "Sanem say something, are you okay?"

He brings her close to him caressing her arms and she looks up at him with tears in her eyes and says " Can, you're going to be a baba, I'm pregnant!" She starts smiling Can is looking at her and starts smiling and picks her up and spins her around.

CAN: "Bebek, are you sure, you're absolutely sure!"

They were both crying.

SANEM: "yes Can, absolutely sure, that's why I wasn't feeling well, and when Miriban came to check on me she told me to take the test."

Can picks her up and takes her over to the bed and lays her down. He kisses her softly and says "I love you bebek, I'm so happy right now, you have no idea."

She starts giggling " oh I think I do."

CAN: "we're staying here tonight, we're not working tomorrow, we have to celebrate."

SANEM: "and how do you want to celebrate,"

He grabs her and starts kissing her and removing her clothes. And Sanem starts giggling "you know Can I like you're kind of celebrating."

They made love and slept in each other's arms all night. Can woke up first and just kept holding her and kissing her softly. Sanem felt it and woke up with a smile on her face. But again she was feeling nauseous.

CAN: "are you okay princess?"

SANEM: "I'm okay, just nauseous and tired. That's all but so happy that we made a little human together."

CAN: "Sanem Divit I love you so much I'm about to burst."

SANEM: "me too Can" She got up and sat in bed, while he was holding her. " Can about last night, I knew deep down inside that on your end you were true to me, I guess I was just shocked when I came in and I saw that bitch trying to kiss you. I saw that you pulled back and tried to push her away. But I just needed to think and process everything, you know."

CAN: "I know Bebek, but I have to tell you, she won't need Botox for awhile, her lips were really swollen when she left! You got two great punches in." They both started laughing.

SANEM: "she's lucky I didn't beat her up more, you know I can kick some ass when I want, I'm pretty tuff when I have to be."

CAN: "oh I know you don't have to tell me."

"Sanem, lay down and I will order something light for you to eat. "

SANEM: "not yet, I'm really nauseous" she gets up and runs to the bathroom and throws up, Can runs in after her. "Can, don't look at me, this is embarrassing."

CAN: "bebek, don't ever say that again, we're going through this together, let me help you" he held her hair back until she was done bringing everything up. "Are you okay?"

SANEM: "I will be, it usually clears up around noon."

CAN: "how long have you been feeling like this?"

SANEM: "I've been feeling sluggish for almost two weeks, but the nausea just started a couple of days ago."

CAN: "okay, rest, and when we get back we have to make an appointment to go to the doctor. Maybe he can give you something for the nausea."

SANEM: "okay, the sooner the better" Can had her lay down, and rest. "Can lay next to me please."

CAN: "okay my love," he takes her in his arms and holds her tight."

They both fell asleep again for a couple of hours. Sanem woke up first and was looking at Can, she was rubbing her nose on his cheek and his nose and then she started giving him light kisses on his lips.

Can wakes up and looks at her and smiles, "I guess you're feeling better?"

SANEM; "much better, actually I think I'm hungry, are you."

CAN: "I am," he kisses her and helps her up. " what are you hungry for?"

SANEM: "I want pizza"

CAN: "okay, let's get our pizza, and then go down to the beach before we head back home."

SANEM:okay, let's eat on the beach, I love to listen to the waves come in." They sat on the beach eating their pizza.

CAN: "how do you feel bebek? "

SANEM: "I'm okay, I thought I would eat more, but I can only get one slice down."

CAN: "do you want something else maybe? How about some soup, it might go down easier."

SANEM: "I'm good, on the way home maybe we will stop and get something else, let's just sit here and relax. Can, do you believe that we're going to be parents?"

CAN: "I feel like I'm dreaming, what do you want, a boy or a girl?"

SANEM: "honestly, I just want a healthy baby, that's all. But I can honestly see you with a girl, I remember the first time when I saw you with Bella, you were so good with her, (she starts giggling) I actually pictured you with our baby in my head even though we weren't together." Can smiles and gives her a kiss.

CAN; " I pictured you many times in my head with our children together. It started the day I saw you dancing with Bella in our back yard." Sanem looked at him and smiled. "It's getting late are you okay driving back.?"

SANEM: "I'm fine, it's still day light."

When they got back home, Miriban and Aziz were sitting by the pool waiting for them.

CAN: "do you think my mom told my dad?"Sanem starts laughing

SANEM: "I'm sure she did, and I'm sure Emre knows and my aunt and my uncle. Look who's coming down the driveway with Leyla and Emre." They both started laughing,

CAN: "it's hard to keep a secret in this family."

SANEM: "it is, but I don't care how about you?"

CAN: "honestly, I don't care, we have a family that loves us, that's the only thing that matters."

SANEM: here comes my aunt "

MEVCABI: "Sanem, I'm so happy for you, how do you feel, I made you some vegetable soup, you need to keep up your energy, Can I made Dolma for you."

Everyone sat around for a while and Can and Sanem filled them in on what happened with Zara.

EMRE: "I can't believe it Can, she's disgusting."

CAN; "that she is, I told her I cancelled the contract, I never want to see her again." Can looks at Sanem and starts laughing "you should see the fat lip that Sanem gave her, she punched her on the other side of her face to even it out " everyone started laughing, Mevcabi and Leyla were high fiveing her.

MEVCABI: "that's my girl, you definitely take after me Sanem, you know me I don't put up with much!"

SANEM: "oh I know auntie" and she hugs her.

UNCLE NIHAT: well everyone it's time for us to go, work tomorrow. Sanem, Can congratulations again!! Good night." Mevcabi hugs Sanem

MEVCABI: "make sure you eat, to keep up your strength, your eating for two now, okay?"

SANEM: "don't worry auntie, I'm going in right now to have that delicious soup of yours." She smiled and hugged her again and they left with Emre and Leyla.

The next morning Sanem felt tired and nauseous again, so they went into work a little later.

When they got to the office, Derin approached Can and Sanem and told them Gamze was in his office waiting for them.

DERIN: "Sanem is everything okay, you look pale do you want me to bring you something."

SAMEN: "actually I do want some tea, and toast please."

DERIN; "okay, I will bring it to you in a couple of minutes."

They headed towards the office and saw Gamze sitting on the couch she sees them and smiles a little, she didn't know how to take Can and Sanem are they mad.

CAN: "hi Gamze, what can I do for you?

GAMZE: "Can, Sanem, I came to apologize again, I am truly sorry. I really didn't think she would do what she did. Can I knew she was interested , but she was totally obsessed with you. I've worked with her for three years, I've seen her aggressively approach other men but she always backed off if they showed no interest. But with you it was different, I don't know why. But anyway, I did quit my job, I never want to see her again."

SANEM: "Gamze, I'm still upset with you, when you saw that we were married you should have tried to put a stop to her then, you knew that she wanted to meet him.

GAMZE: I should of, you're right, but she threatened me with my job, she told me if I don't do what she wants she would fire me and I would never work again in the fashion industry. Honestly, I didn't think she would do what she did, I was shocked.  So now I'm jobless and probably won't find work anywhere because she knows a lot of big names and companies. But that's okay I will figure out something."

SANEM: "maybe we can help, does it have to be fashion?

GAMZE: "no, I studied marketing it could be anything. But you're willing to help me, really?"

CAN: "that's my beautiful wife Gamze, forgiving and always willing to help" he looks over at Sanem and caresses her cheek.

GAMZE: "Thank you both for understanding, oh Sanem I have a feeling she will be pressing charges against you, ( Gamze starts laughing) you should see her lips, she looks like she got triple shots of Botox in them, way to go, I congratulate you , she deserve it!!"

Sanem and Can started laughing.

CAN: "let her press charges, are you willing to testify against her Gamze?"

GAMZE: "yes, I am call me if you need me."

They said there goodbyes and she left.

SANEM: "she looks like she's telling the truth, maybe we can help her get a job, what do you think?"

Can looks at Sanem and smiles brings her in for a hug and a kiss

CAN: "I think you're right, she is a good person, we will try to help her okay?"

She puts her arms around his neck and rubs her cheek on his beard. "Okay" she looks at him and starts giggling "Can, do you think I will look good in an orange jumpsuit, if I go to jail " they both start laughing " Bebek you look good in anything, and you're not going to jail. It was all her doing. Don't worry "

SANEM: "I'm not worried, it was worth it, I would do it again if I had to"

CAN: "I'm sure you would, now let's make your appointment to see a doctor."

Metin came in to see Can and Sanem, because it looks like Zara did press charges.

CAN: "hello Metin, I have a feeling I know why you're here." Metin started laughing

METIN: "Zara!! Of course" he looks at Sanem and smiles and says " damn Sanem those were some punches you threw at her, you should see the pictures"

SANEM: "she deserved it Metin, and I swear if she comes near Can again I will do it again and she can press charges all she wants.!!"

Can just looked at her and smiled, my feisty fierce Sanem.

METIN: "well I don't think you have to worry, we have witnesses, they saw how she was with Can throughout the day, and Gamze is willingly going to testify if need be, it seems that she's pretty aggressive when it comes to men.

CAN: "that she is, she wouldn't take no for an answer, I don't understand."

METIN: "well it's done and over, I will let you know what happens, but I think the judge will throw it out, we have more than enough witnesses."

SANEM: "Thank you Metin, hey if you need anyone bet up let me know" she starts play punching Metin like a boxer. Metin and Can starts laughing

METIN: "I let you know, from what I know is that when you are angry you can really kick some ass!"

CAN: "oh I will vouch for that, she's one tuff cookie"

Can takes her hand and kisses it.

METIN: "okay, see you guys later, I'll check in on my girl and off to work."

The rest of the afternoon was quiet, Can noticed Sanem was tired.

CAN:"Bebek let's go home, I will make dinner for us and you can relax, what do you think?"

SANEM: "I think it's a great idea."

Can took her by the hand and they headed home, for the weekend, for some much needed rest and relaxation. Sanem ate and fell asleep on the couch Can picked her up and put her to bed, got behind her pulled her into his arms kissing her good night "sweet dreams my one and only."
