Chapter Fourteen: Going To Meet the King

A couple months had gone by and things were going great for Bianca and Brody. They were doing exceptional in school and their family life was even better they had become settled into a new routine.

Every morning started off with a tickle war with Hope then the day ended with Brody reading to her. Bianca and Brody decided to quit their job so they could have more time to spend with Hope.

Bianca was very hesitant but knew she had money saved up along with him being a prince they were going to be just fine without their jobs. They spent every waking moment that they weren’t in school with Hope.

Brody was the happiest he had ever been which is why he decided to take Bianca and Hope to meet his father. They had a small break from school due to some incident involving a bad fairy and a witch fighting and tearing up the academy.

“Are you sure this is a good idea? I mean you haven’t even told him about us yet and I’m afraid taking us to meet him without warning may be bad.” Bianca said as they ate breakfast.

“He’s my father I’m sure once he sees how happy you two make me he will be happy for us.” Brody said taking her hand in his. “I wish I was as confident as you are about meeting him.” She sighed.

“If it will make you feel better we can invite Sarah to come along and I will talk to him first while you, Sarah, and Hope play in the gardens then once I know the coast is clear I will bring you in to meet him.” Brody smiled knowing this compromise would put his mate at ease.

“That’s a perfect plan. I know I’ve said it before but you are going to be the best king ever.” She beamed at him. “Just because I know how to make you happy doesn’t mean I can please everyone.” Brody replied kissing her forehead.

His wolf wanted him to mash his lips to hers and take her on the table but Brody had learned to control his urges and found ways to still be affectionate without lip to lip contact which still caused them to ravish each other no matter where they were.

Bianca felt the desire radiating off him which was causing her wolf to stir. “What time do you want to leave for the Kings Realm?” Bianca asked knowing it was a long trip. “I was thinking we could leave tonight that way Hope will sleep most of the way and we won’t have to make as many stops.” He replied smiling at her.

“Ok well I better call Sarah and see if she wants to come along which I’m sure she will seeing as we have always wanted to visit the Kings Realm.” Bianca smiled standing up clearing off the table.

“Alright babe I’m going to go watch movies with our little princess.” Brody smiled nipping her neck before leaving the room. Bianca just turned and glared at him only getting a chuckle in response because he knew exactly what he did to her.

“Hey sis Brody and I were wondering if you would like to join us on our trip to the Kings Realm while we’re on break.” Bianca rushed when Sarah picked up the phone. “Of course I do, I mean I accept your invite.” Sarah giggled.

“I am delighted that you agree to accompany us on such a short notice.” Bianca laughed. “Ok seriously if we have to talk all prim and proper while are there I may die from laughter.” Sarah chuckled.

“I know me too but it’s your fault for always talking like that when we talked about going to the Kings Realm.” Bianca laughed. “Whatever you started it before I did.” She replied. “Whatever, I have to get off here so just be packed and ready to go tonight we will pick you up on our way out of town.” Bianca said hanging up.

“I didn’t think you were ever going to get off the phone.” Brody whispered in her ear. “I wasn’t on there all that long.” Bianca whispered back. “Oh just so you know they don’t talk like that.” He whispered in her ear barely brushing his lips against her ear.

“Why are we whispering?” she asked as chills consumed her body. “Because our little angel has passed out watching Snow White.” He smiled grabbing her by the waist throwing her over his shoulder.

“Put me down you animal.” Bianca laughed as he made his way with her to their room. “I just wanted to satisfy my wolf before our long trip tonight.” He smirked throwing onto the bed. “Good idea, seeing as how you have been driving mine crazy all morning.” Bianca smiled as he jumped beside her.

“So are you sure we have everything we need?” Bianca asked as they finished putting their bags in the trunk. “Yes babe we have everything and then some stop worrying.” Brody reassured her.

“I hope you’re right because I’d hate to leave something important behind because once we get on the road we aren’t going to be able to come back.” She said getting in the car. “Babe if we by some freak chance forgot something we can always stop and buy a new one.” Brody said getting in the driver’s seat.

“Alright let’s get Sarah and get on the road lord knows this is going to be one long car ride.” Bianca sighed as she put on her seatbelt. After they picked Sarah up they headed towards Deadwood so they could get on the Kings Highway that only certain people were allowed to access.

“I can’t believe we have been on the road for twelve hours already.” Sarah complained from the backseat. “You knew this was going to be a long car ride.” Bianca said turning to look at her. “I know but man it sucks my legs are all cramped up.” She whined. “Don’t worry we are going to stop soon to eat so you guys will be able to stretch your legs.” Brody smiled.

Once they had all finished their food they were back on the road again. “We only have about eight more hours to go and we will be there.” Brody said as they pulled back on the highway. “It’s better than another twelve hours.” Sarah laughed.

“Don’t worry we should be there before you know it just turn on another movie for you and Hope.” Bianca smiled at her. “So I sense you have calmed down some since we’ve been on the road are you more confident things will go good with my father?” Brody asked Bianca.

“Not really but I have decided that if he is king and you are next to be king that you probably aren’t that much different than he is so he has to be a decent man who will accept us just as you have.” Bianca smiled at him.

“Are you sure they are on their way here?” the king asked Damien. “Yes father Brody called me last night before he left town to let us know he was ready to introduce his family to you.” Damien replied.

“Where are you and your brothers?” he asked. “We are about three hours behind them.” his answered his father. “Good you should be arriving right around dinner time which will be perfect because we can have a family dinner just remember to keep the charade up that you are so happy for him and you actually like the girl and her mutt.” The king smirked.

“How much longer do I have to keep it up?” Damien asked. “Just hang in there my son all will be revealed in due time I promise I have been working with someone else that I feel will prove to be a great asset to our plan.” The king laughed.

“Ok sir I will keep it up as long as you say but I hope your plan works to keep that piece of trash from becoming our next queen.” Damien growled at the thought of Bianca even coming close to being queen.

“Don’t worry son the poor girl won’t even know what hit her.” the king laughed. “I just pray Brody never finds out I was apart of this because I do care about him even though I think he isn’t thinking clearly right now.” Damien replied.

“No worried son if all goes as planned none of this can come back on either of us.” The king replied. “Good and I’ll make sure the twins keeps their big mouths shut lord knows we can’t have them blabbing to anyone about any of this.” Damien said glaring at them.

“Okay son I will see you for dinner until then keep a low profile and don’t get too close to Brody I don’t want him sensing you and becoming curious about why you guys are here.” He said. “Alright father we will see you soon.” Damien said hanging up.
