The Banished Wolf {COMPLETED}

Chapter Eighteen: To Kill Or Not To Kill??

“Why now, what made him decide to even acknowledge her presence now?” Bianca cried as Brody held her tight. “What are you talking about?” Brody asked as he felt angered by what her words were implying.

“He wants her.” She replied curling into a ball on the bed. “He can’t have her.” Brody growled as his wolf started fighting for control. “I know he can’t but he has a lawyer and is going to fight for custody of her.” Bianca sniffled as she pulled back from Brody to see his eyes were turning their deep royal blue as they did when he was on the verge of losing control to his wolf.

“Don’t worry he won’t be getting anywhere near our daughter.” Brody snarled as he ran out of the house towards the woods no doubt shifting almost instantly. Bianca knew he was upset so she gave him his space as she went back into the living room to finish reading the letter.

She couldn’t believe after all this time and everything Patrick had done that he would even consider fighting her for custody of Hope. She knew that someone had to be pushing him to do this seeing as he never wanted anything to do with Bianca or Hope even when she tried to get him involved while she was pregnant.

Her biggest fear was the fact that his mother was the Mayor and his father the chief of police in Echo Harbor. She knew they were well liked and respected and they would do anything for their precious son.

That was why she never told anyone about what he did to her that night at the party because she knew nothing would have come of it except more problems for her. Being a wolf she had to keep things low key and not draw attention to herself so she never pursued anything other than telling him she was going to have his child.

Even when she brought up the fact that he had gotten her pregnant he just laughed at her and called her a slut acting as if he wasn’t the only guys she had been with when he knew damn well that he took her innocence.

After a while Bianca’s wolf surfaced filling her head with visions of her ripping Patrick’s throat out. Bianca knew she couldn’t chance actually going through with the actions her wolf was pushing her to do.

No matter how upset she was she knew she couldn’t just kill him because that would draw too much attention to her kind because when a human is killed and they can tell the person died at the hands of a supernatural being a hunter is sent to track down the being who committed the crime.

A few hours after he left Brody returned ten time calmer than when he left. “I’m sorry for running off the way I did but I didn’t want to lose all control and tear up the house when I shifted.” He said sitting on the couch beside Bianca.

“It’s alright I understand my wolf has been fighting me for control thankfully I can keep her under control otherwise she would have led me to the city to kill Patrick.” Bianca smiled as he sat beside her.

“There isn’t anything to worry about I don’t think Patrick is going to be bothering us for a long time.” Brody grinned. “What did you do?” Bianca asked worried. “I didn’t do anything but let’s just say I called in a favor.” Brody smirked.

“You can’t have him killed because a hunter will come after us.” Bianca cried out. “I have to protect my family at all costs and a hunter won’t come after me or my family knowing I am the heir to the throne and they have a deal with my father not to attack his sons no matter what.” Brody said wrapping his arms around her.

“I hope you know what you are doing.” She replied pulling away from him. She wanted to see Patrick hurt but not necessarily dead no matter how it happened he did help create Hope. “Bianca look I’m sorry if I made you made but I couldn’t just sit back and watch you hurting all over again because of that monster.” Brody said as he walked into the bedroom.

“That monster may have hurt me but he gave me the best gift ever and without him she wouldn’t even be here.” Bianca cried. “I’m sorry I didn’t think him being killed would have upset you like this I thought you would have been happy by not having to face him and everything that happened.” He said sitting on the bed beside her.

“I am happy but sad at the same time I just don’t understand what is going on with me after seeing that letter my emotions have been all over the place.” She replied laying back on her pillows.

“I’m sorry for making the call on my own without asking for your opinion on it but my wolf only wanted one thing to kill him but it took everything I had to keep that from happening so the only way to appease my wolf was to call in a favor.” Brody replied placing his head in his hands.

“I understand that you gave into your wolf to protect our daughter and me I don’t blame you I just hate that now we take a chance on someone realizing we were involved to keep him from even having a chance to get Hope.” She replied sitting up and wrapping her arms around his neck.

“If anyone comes to question us just stay calm and answer their questions because the questions they are going to be asking us we can both honestly answer that we weren’t involved.” He said kissing her arm.

“I hope you’re right.” She replied pulling him back onto the bed. “I guess now is as good a time as any to talk about moving into the house with my brothers.” Brody smiled as he rubbed her back.

“I thought I said I didn’t want to move I like it here.” Bianca protested. “I understand that but babe I think we need to be within the pack territory to keep Hope safe.” Brody replied.

“What do you mean safe? What kind of trouble could she possibly be in?” she asked rolling over to face him. “I caught the end of a conversation my father was having while we were there and apparently in one of the territories someone is taking the children.” He said hoping that she would change her mind.

“That’s crazy and if that were in our area we would already know about it because my father would tell us.” She replied crossing her arms. “I’ll call my father and see where exactly this is happening and if it’s even relatively close to us we are moving to Deadwood in the house with my brothers.” Brody said.

“So basically we are going to move whether I like it or not?” Bianca asked surprised by his sudden sternness. “I’m sorry I am only doing what I feel is right to keep you two safe if something were to ever happen to either of you I would give up all control to my wolf.” Brody frowned.

“I know babe I just wish there was another way people in that town are so stuffy and rude especially towards me.” Bianca frowned. “No one and I mean no one is to look down upon you not anymore and if they do you let me know and I will take care of it. You are going to be their queen they will show you respect.” Brody growled.

She smiled knowing he was right that everyone would be showing her respect or at least they should which is a big change from being snubbed by everyone she came in contact with.

She snuggled up to Brody burying her head in his chest as she felt herself becoming in tune with him and his wolf. After a few minutes of just holding one another Brody let his wolf come to the surface and take over.

Bianca felt her wolf fighting to be near the surface so she could be with her mate. “You know it is nice having the house to ourselves.” Brody grinned as he repositioned himself on top of her. “I think my wolf agrees.” Bianca smiled up at him. Giving into their wolves they ended an extremely long stressful day with a night full of passion.
