Chapter 6 - Taking out the Trash
His White Luna
Alice Forrest
I closed the large doors behind me, leaning against them as I breathed in for the first time in too long. His scent was driving me wild, my wolf was ready to pounce on his, she wanted to tear out the throat of the random blonde who had her lips wrapped around his cock minutes ago.
We still had very different opinions on matters, and I wondered how long it would take for us to become more harmonious, or would it forever be like this? Because Iâd spent too long in the human world, too long without shifting, without connecting myself to the other half of my life.
After regaining the strength in my legs, I thought it best if I went and found Jamie, I hadnât dared to ask, âwhat now?â to Nathaniel, it felt too dangerous, as if given the opportunity he would command me to never leave his side.
Yet waiting at the top of the stairs, was the blonde. Staring daggers at me as I left Nathanielâs chambers. I was adamant on ignoring what ever crap she would throw at me, I had no doubt that she was trying to sleep her way into his life, to gain power, luxury, money, the Luna position. She had clearly not been in this pack very long.
âKeep moving bitch, this is my territory,â she hissed as I walked past, a couple steps down the stairs already.
I stopped and made eye contact with Jamie who was seated next to the front door, his eyes sparkling with amusement, and he crossed his arms, his grin broadening the longer I looked at him.
âIs she for real?â I asked, gesturing at her over my shoulder.
Jamie let out a hideous cackle as he began to laugh, a smile splitting over my own face.
âAre you for real?â I asked, turning to face the woman.
Her eyes scanned my face, as if she was suddenly doubting what she had said, âdid you really just threaten me?â I asked in disbelief. âShe threatened me,â I repeated to Jamie, who continued to laugh, now clutching his side as he struggled to stay seated in his chair as the fits of laughter rolled off him.
âWow, you pups sure are plucky,â I scoffed, continuing to walk down the stairs.
âWho do you think you are? Heâs mine,â she said, suddenly snapping out of her daze.
âWhy donât you go ask Alpha Black, little shrew,â I mocked, throwing a mock sad look at her over my shoulder. âThatâs if he lets you back in his bedchambers,â I said with a wink.

âI should have taken a photograph of her face,â Jamie cackled to Grace.
Grace rubbed Jamieâs arm lovingly, smiling at him as he still recovered from the fits of laughter, âGina has been here for about two months,â Grace said turning from her mate as he rubbed tears out of his eyes. âA month longer than me, but she worked very quickly in positioning her between the Alphaâs legs,â she said, these words spoken with more hesitation and quietly.
âThere is no need to my shy about it Grace, I left him, we broke up â if you will. He can fuck who ever he wants, if thatâs what he wants,â I sighed, stirring my lemonade with a straw.
She smiled weakly and looked down at her own drink, âsheâs not very nice, but very pretty,â grace sighed, tugging at her brown hair.
âDid you, did you move on?â Jamie asked, his serious demeanour masking back onto his face.
âNo,â I said shaking my head and leaning back into my chair. âI thought about it, I got asked out on a lot of dates, but I just wasnât interested. I guess you loose faith in the idea of love when youâve already fallen out with your destined soulmate.â
âYes, that would put a bummer on things, wouldnât it,â Jamie smirked, his façade cracking.
I rolled my eyes and looked back at Grace, âbut if one thing did come out of it, I guess itâs you two, huh.â
Grace cocked her head and looked at me, âbecause we met while he was looking for you?â she asked.
I nodded, âI can live with it, knowing Jamie was lucky enough to find you because of a mistake I made.â
Graceâs face blushed as Jamie touched her hand lightly, smiling at her, âmaybe donât let the Alpha hear you say that, I think he would have rather youâd stayed here,â she squeaked.
âHeâll get over it,â I sighed.
âMaybe,â Jamie interjected.
I rolled my eyes, âwhat should I do now Jamie?â I asked.
He dragged his gaze from Grace and looked at me for a good long minute, âwhat do you want to do?â
âTo be honest, take a nap,â I sighed.
Jamie grinned, but his eyes remained sad, âyou guys didnât talk for very long, what happened?â
âSmall talk, some apologies, and then he asked if Iâd give him a second chance.â
âAnd will you?â Jamie asked intensely listening.
I nodded, âI will, heâs my mate after all. Iâm too young to never have sex again,â I added, making Grace blush and Jamie burst into a fit of laughter.
âWell, I feel bad for who ever has to tell Gina she needs to find someone else to try and climb the werewolf ladder with,â Jamie snickered.
I smirked and looked down at my glass, âdo you mind if I stay the night with you guys? I donât think it would be wise for me to go home tonight.â
âYou donât want to stay in the Pack House or your house?â Grace asked.
âMy house?â I said, cocking my head to the side and looking at her, I didnât have a house here.
âNateâs been staying in the pack house,â Jamie answered with a sigh. âHe pretty much hunts and fucks, charming right?â
âSo he hasnât even gone home?â
âEveryone calls it the Lunaâs house now,â Grace said with a smile, âbut yes, you can stay with us.â
âWe do have training in the morning, youâre more than welcome to join,â Jamie said with a sly grin.
âHave you had no one to hand your arse to you since I left?â
Jamie let out another cackle and threw his head back laughing, while Grace looked between the two of us, âyou two spar?â she asked looking concerned.
âDonât worry about her,â Jamie said placing a comforting kiss on the side of Graceâs head, âitâs me youâll be stitching up.â
