Chapter 18

chapter 18

Hate

Mark had tried to report Liam's kidnapping to the police, but they seemed completely uninterested in helping him. They kept putting him off, wasting his time with endless questions and bureaucratic red tape. It was as if they didn't care that Liam was missing, that he was in grave danger.

Frustrated and desperate, Mark decided not to waste any more time with the police. Instead, he got in his car and drove to his best friend Damien's house. He had to tell someone, had to get help from someone he trusted.

As he arrived at Damien's house, Mark felt a sense of relief wash over him. He knew that Damien would listen, that he would care. Mark took a deep breath and told Damien everything - about Liam's kidnapping, about his mother's involvement, about the police's indifference.

Damien's expression changed from concern to shock as Mark spoke. He looked at Mark with a mixture of horror and determination, his eyes burning with a fierce intensity. "We'll find Liam," Damien said, his voice firm and resolute. "We'll get him back, no matter what it takes."

Damien's expression remained calm and reassuring as he spoke to Mark, but beneath the surface, he was a whirlwind of activity. As a spy for a rival organization, Damien had been tracking Martha's movements for months, gathering intel on her and her cohorts.

He had managed to infiltrate Martha's inner circle, gathering crucial information on each member of the organization. Damien knew their strengths and weaknesses, their motivations and secrets. He had been waiting for the perfect moment to strike, to bring Martha and her followers to justice.

But for now, Damien had to keep his true intentions hidden from Mark. He couldn't reveal that he had been spying on Martha, or that he knew more about her organization than Mark did. All he could do was offer Mark his support and reassurance, hoping that when the truth finally came out, Mark would be able to handle it.

As Damien thought about the road ahead, he couldn't help but worry about Mark's emotional well-being. He knew that Mark was already fragile, still reeling from Liam's kidnapping and his mother's betrayal. And when he finally learned the truth about Liam's past, about the constant miscarriages and the trauma he had endured, Mark's world would be rocked to its core.

Damien hoped that Mark would be able to find the strength to cope with the truth, to support Liam through the dark times ahead. But for now, all he could do was be there for Mark, to offer him a shoulder to cry on and a steady hand to guide him through the storm.

Liam lay in the empty room, his body weak and battered from the relentless torture. His belly was huge and heavy, but he lacked the strength to even stand up, let alone walk. The poor feeding had taken its toll on his body, and he felt like he was slowly breaking down.

The only thing that kept him going was the thought of his unborn babies. He knew that if it wasn't for the pregnancy, he would have given up long ago. But the babies gave him a reason to keep fighting, to hold on to hope.

As he lay there, Liam's mind wandered to Mark, his husband. He missed him so much, and the pain of being separated from him was almost too much to bear. Liam felt like a part of him was missing, and he couldn't wait to be reunited with Mark.

Meanwhile, Damien had reported everything to his leader, and they were planning to take down Martha's organization once and for all. They had gathered intelligence on each member, knowing their schedules and habits. They were ready to strike at 4 pm, when the organization was set to meet.

The plan was to take out the members one by one, using their knowledge of the organization's inner workings to their advantage. Damien and his team were confident that they could bring Martha and her followers to justice, and they were ready to do whatever it took to make that happen.

As the clock ticked closer to 4 pm, Liam lay in his room, unaware of the rescue mission that was about to unfold. But he held on to hope, knowing that Mark would do everything in his power to save him.
