I was sitting on my chair with my head between my hands which were on the desk when Evan came in.

He came in and sat on the chair in front of me. He stared at me and smiled.

"What?" I snapped.

"Nothing. It's just new to see."

"New? What is new?"

"To see that Alexander Knight couldn't focus in his work."

I rolled my eyes.

"Dude I really need a break. I can't take this anymore. I am feeling like an alien."

He laughed listening to me.

"Shut up. Do you know how difficult it is to avoid her when she keeps on making noises in front of you?"

"Then stop avoiding her. Stop trying to hate her. I know you can't hate her."

"I can't forgive her this easily Evan. I can't"

He sighed. "I understand Alex. How about clubbing tonight? Maybe it can help you clear your mind."

"That sounds good." I said.

When we reached the club I saw Blake at the parking lot looking all worried talking to someone in his phone.

Did something happen?

What is he doing here?

Whatever it is. None of my business. I just need to focus on clearing my mind right now.

Me and Evan, we went inside the club to the VIP area of course.

We were having our drinks when I took out my phone to check messages. Then I saw 20 missed calls. I didn't hear it because my phone was on DND mode. I opened it, they were all from Blake.

Why would he call me?

Then again my phone started ringing. I picked it up just to hear Blake yelling from the other side at me.

"ALEXANDER FUCKING KNIGHT I SWEAR IF YOU DON'T COME HERE RIGHT NOW I WILL KILL YOU."

"What?"

"STOP AND COME TO 'THE NIGHT CLUB' NOW OR YOU'LL BE DEAD BY TOMORROW."

Oh God! What the hell is wrong with this man shouting so much.

"Why would I come there?" I asked him getting up from my seat and looking down from the huge window in front of me where everyone was dancing and enjoying themselves. The normal area.

I was looking there while listening to Blake.

"STOP WITH ALL THE QUESTIONS AND COME RIGHT NOW...." He kept saying things more like threatening me to come there where I already was.

Suddenly something caught up my attention. I furrowed my eyebrows and looked there.

"Ev?"

"YA EV SHE IS IN THE CLUB WITH CASSANDRA AND ROSE AND-" I hung up the call and looked there again she was dancing with someone which for sure was neither Cassandra nor Rose.

It was a man. He was holding her waist I could see that she was trying to push him away but he was not leaving her. Then she said something to the man and he just smirked.

"Son of a bitch. You are so dead." I cursed.

"What happened?" Evan asked in confusion when he saw me running towards the exit door.

"Take your girlfriend out of here she is down. Maybe.... drunk too." With that I ran down.

I went close to them Ev was still trying to push him away. I went to them and held the man by his shirt pulling him away from her.

He looked at me "What the fuck is your problem man? Let me enjoy with this sexy."

Sexy?

I looked at Ev. My eyes widened.

Okay I agree she looks sexy.

Not just sexy but so fucking sexy.

"XANDER!" Ev shouted smiling.

Is she serious a moment ago she was an inch away from crying.

The man was trying to move closer to Ev again but I was still holding his shirt. This time I pulled him with a force and punched his face.

"Stay away from her." that man was so drunk that he fell to the ground with just one punch.

"Oopsie woopsie! Look at him lying there. I told you that my husband will punch that face of yours if you try something dirty with me. You didn't listen to me. Your fault." Ev said then she held my arm pressing my muscles she again said "Look at these muscles they are not for just show off. Huh!!"

Why is she talking like this?

"Come on dude try again and see if you can win this time. Which is impossible I know but still. Come. Come."

Wait. Is she drunk?

"That's enough Ev. Leave him."

"No Xander I was telling him from that time but he wasn't leaving me. Beat him up. Just one punch won't do anything." She pouted.

"Ev you are drunk we should leave now." I said trying to control her.

But I didn't know that when she gets drunk she becomes a little fighter.

"NO! I am not drunk." she yelled standing there with hands on her waist. "You are of no use. I have to beat him up."

What? No.

Before I could hold her she went to the man who has managed to stand up on his feet now and punched him on his one cheek. "Huh! Why didn't you fall down?" she then rubbed her wrist fisting her hand she again punched him but this time on his stomach. And he fell down really hard.

She then turned to me and showed me her muscles.

I rolled my eyes at her actions. She looks cute when she is drunk.

Suddenly she stumbled back a little I ran to her and held her hand so that she couldn't fall back.

"How much did you drink?"

"Umm.." she started thinking then she showed me with her fingers two "No wait." She shook her head and said "5 glasses".

"5? Are you crazy? What were you thinking?"

"Cass told me that nothing will happen so I drank them."

"Ya right how can I forget you always listen to that best friend of yours."

She nodded her head smiling.

I took her out of the club. When we reached the parking lot I met with Blake and Evan who were in a same situation as me. Evan was holding Cassandra on one side and Anna on the other side looking completely irritated. He somehow managed to put both of them inside the car and said "I am leaving. I need to drop them quickly or I am sure I'll get mad by tomorrow."

I nodded.

After Evan left. It was just me, Blake, Ev and Rose.

Still holding Ev I said to Blake "I hate to say this to you but please drop her safely home."

Blake nodded "I will. But Alex we need to talk."

"Yaaaaa.... Alex you need to talk. I love him Alex but I love you too." Rose said. "Don't do this please." Rose then removed Blake's hand from her and sat on the ground.

She started crying. Well not crying but pretending. "You are so bad. I thought I would lose you that's why I didn't tell you but you don't understand."

"Rose get up." I said and she shook her head.

"Tell me that you have forgiven me and you are not angry anymore."

"Rose."

"No. Tell me first. I don't like this angry side of yours."

"Yes Rose I have forgiven you now get up."

"Really!" She exclaimed and got up.

I nodded.

"So you accept our relationship."

Wait I never said that.

"Rose I have a plan." Ev said getting out of my hold and ran to Rose started whispering in her ears in a low voice well which she thought was low.

"I think we should punch that handsome face of his maybe that will fill some brain inside him." Ev and Rose both giggled.

Blake too chuckled I glared at him. "Maybe she is right." He said.

I went and held Ev's hand "We're leaving now." Ev pouted. I turned to Blake and said "Drop her safely."

Blake rolled his eyes and went with Rose.

"Let's go." I told Ev but she stood there with her arms folded over her chest and tapping her one feet. "What?" I asked.

"I will not go." She said.

"Ev I am serious."

She glared at me "I am also serious."

I groaned in frustration "Why?"

"I want a piggy back ride till the car."

I looked at her in disbelief. "You what?"

She nodded her head "Piggy back ride."

What the hell is wrong with this girl.

"What are you. A kid? Stop with those nonsense Ev and let's go home."

Listening to me she started crying. A fake one of course because there were not even a single tear in her eyes.

"You don't love me anymore. I want a new husband. You can't even give me a simple piggy back ride. I am so hurt."

"Ugh!! You are never drinking again." I kneeled in front of her she happily got on my back and wrapped her arms around my neck.

She kissed my cheek and said "You are the best husband."

The whole ride she kept talking more like complaining to me about myself. Then when we finally reached home. I got out. She too got out. I was going inside when I turned around to see her standing with her arms folded taping her one feet again.

Oh God!

I went and kneeled she again happily got on my back. She was singing the whole time I was carrying her.

Then she hit my shoulder once and again wrapped her hands around my neck.

This is so annoying.

Then again she started singing.

What are you waiting for?

My head spinning around I-"

"STOP! STOP! STOP! STOP!" She stopped singing and started shouting when we reached the living room. I was taking her to the bedroom but I had to stop by her shouting.

"Why are you shouting?"

"Put me down. Down. Down." I put her down.

"What?" She grinned. I furrowed my eyebrows.

"Chocolates. I want to eat chocolates." She said.

"No. You are not getting any chocolates."

"I want chocolates. Chocolates. Chocolates. Chocolates." She whined stomping her feet on the ground.

"Ev stop acting like a kid."

"No. Chocolates."

"Fine." I took her to the kitchen made her sit on the stool. "Don't move." She nodded.

Taking out a bar of chocolate from the refrigerator I gave her. She was eating happily when she suddenly stopped and looked at me. Her eyes were teary.

Did I do something wrong?

Why is she crying now?

I went to her she was still on the stool I stood in between her legs.

"Hey what happened? Did I do something? Why are you crying? Are you hurt?" I started panicking.

She nodded.

"You are hurt. Where?" she pointed her chest. I gave her a confused look.

"My heart hurts. It pains when you ignore me, when you don't talk to me. I am sorry. Sorry for lying to you. Why can't you just forgive me."

I just stood there not uttering a single word.

"You even called me a stranger last night. Am I just a stranger to you now?"

Oh God Ev! I said that so you eat the food.

"Do you hate me now? That's it. Is it really the end of us Xander?" she said in a broken voice.

"You need rest. We'll talk about it later."

"No. I want to talk now. I thought that Blake will tell you himself so I was waiting. But then you yourself came to know."

She then started hitting my chest with her hands "Why are you doing this? Why? It hurts so much when you avoid me. I feel like I am going to die now. Why are you being so cruel? You didn't even reply to my 'I love you' that day. You never did that before. You always use to reply when I said 'I love you'. And yes you even called me Eveline Crater. It hurts to even think that you hate me."

I cupped her cheeks "I don't hate you. I can never hate you. However hard I try I can never do that."

She then covered her face with her hands and leaned on my chest crying ". Please don't hate me Xander. Please. I can't take your hate."

I hugged her kissing the top of her head I said "Let's get you some sleep."
