The best night ever

Your pov

It was the morning of the gala and most of my friends were busy getting ready for it. But currently me, Twilight, and Fluttershy were upstairs in the bedroom where Fluttershy was by (m/n)'s bed where (m/n) was at. "Well, she's making a full recovery." Fluttershy told us as she took the thermometer from (m/n)'s mouth and the temperature was low. "Thank goodness. After a week of taking care of her. I was worried she wasn't going to get better." Twilight said.

"I just wish I knew how she got sick." I said as I gave (m/n) some of her favorite foods...... everything. "Well these things tend to happen. Sometimes animals, or in this case Pokémon, tend to get something when they go outside." Fluttershy said. "I'm just glad that she's getting better." Twilight said. "Now let's just give her some peace and quiet." Fluttershy said as we leave the room.

"Thanks again Fluttershy." I said. "It's no problem. I just wish I knew what she has...." She said. "Im sure you'll find out someday. Just be glad that she's feeling better." Twilight said as we walked downstairs. "But for now. Just worry about getting ready for the gala." She added as we reached the door. "I suppose your right. I'll see you two later." Fluttershy said as she leaves.

"Now I'd you need me. I'll be upstairs in the shower." Twilight said as she heads upstairs. "I guess I'll just wait for my turn!" I called out as I then sneezed. "Whewwwww!!! Must've got some dust on my nose." I said as I walked to the living room and grabbed a book. I then sat down and started reading when I sneezed again. "Ugh!!! I need to remind Twilight that we need to dust off the library tomorrow." I said to myself.

Time skip

I had just gotten out of the shower which took awhile because I couldn't get any warm water so I kept trying to raise the temp to the shower. After a while I just gave up and showered. "What a terrible shower." I said as I dried off and went downstairs. "What up?" Spike asked me as he was sitting on the chair and was reading a comic book. "Just the shower temp wouldn't be warm." I told him. "Huh.... That's odd? It's working just fine when I was used it." He said.

"We must've ran out then." I said as I grumbled and walked to the kitchen to get some food. I then bumped into a wall just missing the door. "What the!? Who moved the door!?" I yelled in frustration as I then walked to the kitchen. I began making myself a sandwich as I saw Twilight came in carrying a book. "Watcha reading?" I asked her as I finished my sandwich. "I'm just carefully going over the spells that I'm working on for the gala." She told me. "What's the spells?" I asked. "I'm going to turn an Apple into a carriage and mice into horses." She told me.

"Are going to sing "Bibidi bopidi boo" when you do?" I teasingly said. "They hay is that?" She asked me in confusion. "Uhhhhh.... Do.... You have a version of Cinderella here in Equstria?" I asked. "Cinderwho?" She said which says a lot. "Never mind." I said ad the lights were flickering on in off. "Add that to the list of things to do after the gala." I thought as Twilight was going over the book like the lights weren't flickering. "Must've been doing this for a while." I thought ad I munched on my sandwich.

Rarity's boutique.

I was in the changing room with my friends getting our outfits on for the gala. "I can't believe we're going to gala soon! It's gonna be amazing! Awesomely fantastic!" Pinkie said as she continued talking and excited to be going to the gala. I was putting on my suit/dress as she kept going. The past few hours I have been experiencing some weird things. Lights going out or flickering, can't get warm, room spinning, stuff being in the wrong place which kept tripping over or hit the walls.

I've been having one off day. It's probably because I'm just worried about (m/n). Hopefully the gala would clear my mind. "Looking good (y/n)." Rainbow said as she was getting ready. "Thanks!" I said. "See Rarity. The dress still fits." Twilight said as i could hear Pinkie stopped talking for a split minute for some reason.

"It appears so..... not sure how..... anyway! Is everypony ready?" Rarity asked us as we responded with a affirmative response. "Great! Then let's head to the Gala!" She yelled as we all cheered until everything went black again. "Ughhh!!! Why is this happening?" I said in confusion as the lights came back on and I saw that I was in a different room and that for some reason I was laying down. "What the!? Where am I?" I said in confusion.

"Your in your bed." I heard Twilight say as I looked around to see see her, the other five mares and spike standing beside me. "What? How did I get here? And why do all of you look worried?" I asked as Fluttershy placed a hoof on my head. "You collapsed unto the floor! We're worried about you." Rainbow said. "Yeah! It scared us to death." Pinkie said. "Really." I said as Fluttershy removed her hoof and then placed a thermometer in my mouth.

After a few seconds she takes it back and gasps. "Oh my gosh! Your burning up!" She said in surprise as everyone gasps and I saw Rarity put on a mask. "What! That's impossible? How did I get sick?" I said in confusion. "You must've gotten it from (m/n)." Fluttershy said. "If that's the case...... then why was I the only one who got sick?" I asked. "If I have to guess..... this sickness must only effect Pokémon." Twilight said as Rarity removes her mask.

"Oh that's just unfair." I said as I laid my head on a pillow. "At least it's not serious." Aj said. "Yeah..... we'll I guess I'll just rest. Have fun at the gala." I said. "What?" Twilight said in confusion. "The gala. Just because I can't go doesn't mean you guys can't." I told her. "But we can't just leave you here alone!" Pinkie said. "But this is a once and a life time thing. You guys shouldn't have to go because of me." I said.

"But darling..... we couldn't just." Rarity began but I stopped her. "No!.... All of you have dreams and stuff about the gala. You said you want to meet the prince then go and meet him. Pinkie, this is supposed to be a party of a lifetime. It's not a party without you there. Rainbow, the wonderbolts are there. This is your chance to show them what you got! Aj, this is a good business move to sell your apples..... or try talking to wealthy ponies about your farm. Fluttershy, you want to meet the animals there. Don't..... miss a chance.... To meet some animals..... Ummm..... you just can't miss a chance to not meet them. And Twilight..... Ummm.... What was your reason to go?"

"I'm going to talk to Celestia and talk about all the things I have seen in ponyville since I moved here." She told me. "........ And Spike, this is something that no dragon could have a chance to go." I told him. "But..... a lot of ambassadors go to the Gala. And one of them is from the dragon lands." He told me. "Oh...... Well then..... Yeah, I have nothing." I said. "But that doesn't mean that any of y'all can't go. Now have fun. And live out your dreams and/or other things at the Gala. Just because I can't go doesn't mean you can't. I'll be happy if y'all go and enjoy your time at the Gala." I told them. "Are.... Are you sure?" Twilight asked me. "Yes. Now go. Have fun. Don't worry, I'll just rest and have a nice sleep." I said as they all slowly walked out and some had looked behind them as I made a motion for them to go and enjoy the gala. As they left I was now alone, which I sighed. ".....I hope they have a great time there." I said as I laid down.

Twilight pov

It was quiet in the carriage ride and no pony was excited as we were in the morning. "It's just not the same without (y/n) here." Pinkie said as Rainbow sighed. "Yeah..... I know he/she said to enjoy the gala but...." "It's just doesn't feel right." Rarity said. "Yeah...." Everypony said. "...:That's it. Stop the carriage!!" I yelled as the carriage stopped. "Oh finally, I was getting tired going in circles around Ponyville." I heard Spike said which I then looked out the window to see that we hadn't even left Ponyville.

"You mean to tell us that we haven't even left Ponyville?" I said. "Yeah! I just..... didn't felt like leaving Ponyville like this..... so I kept stalling." He told me. ".....Well.... I suppose I let that slide. Especially with the circumstances..... anyway, I have an idea." I said.

Your pov:

I have been sleeping for a while and it was too quiet here. Although it wasn't boring because I kept blacking out four times in a row. Also..... did it suddenly get rumbling in here? Because the bed is vibrating like there is a party going on downstairs. "Ugh.... Why do I have to feel this way.... And will the bed stop vibrating!" I yelled in anger as I got up and saw Fluttershy standing beside the bed. "......Are you a hallucination?" I asked. "No, I'm real. And ummm.... Come downstairs please. If you don't mind that is." She told me as motions me to follow. "Ummm ok?"

I said as I got out of bed and I tried to move but I kept wobbling. Fluttershy then moves beside me and helps me to the door and going down the stairs. "Yep! Your real." I said as we walked to the main room to see that the entire library was filled with decorations and I saw a lot of ponies were here. "What the?! What's going on?" I said in confusion. "It's the Ponyville Gala." I heard Twilight said as she and the others walked up to me.

"Guys? I thought I told you to head to the Gala up in Canterlot?" I told them. "We were but we decided that we didn't want to go there if you weren't able to." Rarity said. "So we decided to through a gala of our own and invited all the ponies in ponyville." Pinkie said as she jumped around. "Also we invited the Pokémon of Ponyville, which they are in the backyard portion of the Ponyville gala." Fluttershy said.

"B-b-but what about your dreams?" I asked them. "Well, I'm sure it would've helped the farm a bit.... But that doesn't mean I can't do the same here." Aj said as I saw one of the tables that had Apple family food. Also on the table was a jar filled with bits and on front of each food is a price number for each food. "And I'm sure my prince can wait..... I mean, one look at me and he will be head over heels over me." Rarity said. "I can still party like it's the Gala.... Also! I never thought I could plan a gala party before and it's fantastic!" Pinkie said. "And I can impress the Wodmerbolts another time. Besides I still have all the great qualities that make one. Great flying skills, awesome eyes, excellent hearing, sonic rainboom, and I'm the fastest flier in all of Equstria." Rainbow said. "I've been meeting new creatures that I have never thought I could meet here and umm.... I don't have use the gala as an excuse to meet the animals of canterlot." Fluttershy said.

"And you two?" I asked Twilight and Spike. "I'm sure I can talk to Celestia another time. Really.... I kinda just wish I could talk to her a bit more then the last few times." Twilight said. "Ehh, I was gonna spend my time there with my friends and show them around Canterlot. I'm sure we'll do that another time." He said. "Wow..... I'm surprised that you managed to arrange all this...... actually.... I'm kinda not..... but still." I said as I looked around. "But.... Are you guys sure you waaaachooo!!!..... you sure you all want this instead of the actual Gala?" I asked. "We're sure." Twilight said as they all went up and gave me a hug. "Well, what are we waiting for? Let's-" "PARTY!!!" Pinkie yelled interrupted me.

"......Sorry..... couldn't help myself." Pinkie said as we  went around to enjoy the new Ponyville gala.

Time skip

Twilight pov:

The party was going off like any other Pinkie party goes. It was nice to see (y/n) being able to party even when he/she is sick with some sort of Pokémon only sickness. "I was wondering why you weren't at the Gala?" I heard somepony say from behind which startled me which I turned to see that it Celestia. "C-C-Celestia! When did you get here?! Also why are you here? Shouldn't you be at the Gala? Not that it isn't great to see you." I was saying. "It's alright, I know what you are saying and don't worry. I'm sorta at the Gala as we are speaking.

No pov:

The gala

"So as I was saying your highness-" a noble was talking to Celestia who was wearing sunglasses who was nodding through the conversation. "Psst." Someone whispered which the sunglasses wearing Celestia looks at the bushes to see a royal guard motion her to come. Sunglasses wearing Celestia did a motion to let them know that she will be back in a minute. The sunglasses Celestia walked to the bushes to where the guard was as at. "Hmm?" Sunglasses Celestia said. "Your shift is over. It's my turn." The guard said as Sunglasses Celestia then morphs into a Ditto.

"Ditto." It said as the Guard then burst into green flames to reveal a female Changeling drone wearing royal guard armor. Have a good rest." She said as the Ditto leaves as the Changeling then changes into Celestia who then sighs. "Ugh..... I should really change my job from body double to secret body guarding." She said as she exists the bushes and back to the nobles.

Twilight pov:

"Ummm..... are you gonna tell me?" I asked her. "Oh, its a secret. Anyway, I got here when I saw that you and your friends never arrived so I was kinda curious as to why?" She asked me. "Well, it kinda started when (y/n) got sick from some sort of Pokémon sickness." I told her. "Oh! Is he/she now!" Celestia said nervously. "Uhhh.... yeah..... is that a problem?" I asked. "Nope! It's fine! I'll just..... stay over here." She said which confused a bit, but it doesn't matter. "I'm glad that you could come and see me and I hope you aren't mad that we couldn't come to the Gala." I said. "Why would I be mad? You stayed for a friend and technically you did go to the Gala." She said which I smiled. "Now, let's enjoy this Gala of yours." She said as she went to mingle with the ponies of Ponyville.

I looked around the library and smiled. "A year ago I would've laughed at the idea of attending a party and have fun with friends. But now...." I looked at me close friends who were having fun together. "This has been a wonderful year and I can't wait for what I'm store for me next." I thought as I walked up to enjoy the party with my friends.

Last chapter I had ask you if you should be worried about being with a whismur in a cave. The answer is yes. Because if it gets startled or senses danger. It can let out an ear piercing cry that is as loud as a jet plane. Basically that's 100 decibels and the average human earring can't handle that exposure for 15 minutes.... Or if you are very close to the noise. Idk if it's exactly that close to how long I think it depends on how close you are. Also if you are in a cave as a comment had said it could cause a cave in and you could get trapped with a Pokémon who will not stop crying until it gets exhausted. Oh it can get startled by its own crying which can cry even harder and since they can breathe through their ear canals it's going to take a while especially if you are pinned by debris which would be unfortunate since you can cover its ears which can stop it from crying. Of course that's if you aren't trying to get out of a pile of debris.
