The Abominable Icepony

It took us several days to get to the village below mount Everhoof. "So why are we waiting in the lobby of the hotel and not getting gear?" I asked. "Because awe are waiting for a friend who knows how to climb up a mountain. Luna told me. "Tempest?" "Nope!" She said as the door opens and a familiar hat wearing Pegasus.

"Sorry I'm late but I had to help somepony get a cat out of a tree." She said as I stared in shock,

Your pov: .....Still

"Is that Daring Do?" I asked in confusion and shock. "Why yes! She knows her way up dangerous and remote environments, so she shall by our guide." Luna said as Daring sat down at our table. "I thought you were a fictional character?" I said. "Yeah, I just write all my adventures using a pen name." She told me.

"Besides I'm glad to help the royal highness. She helped me and I help her, so now we're even." She said. ".....What?" I said in confusion. "It was all written in Daring Do and the lost crown of the moon." Luna said as I thought about it. ".....Your Queen Midnight?" I said in surprise. "So anyway! Do we need anything?" Luna asked Daring. "Just a few, but these mountains are a bit cold so make sure to grab a lot of warmth." She told us as we nod.

Time skip

"Man this place is cold!!?!!" I yelled as we were climbing up the mountain. "Really? Tis fell like a normal day on the moon." Luna said In confusion. "A day?..... Are you sure you don't mean the nighttime on the moon?" I ask. "Thou should feel the winter days." Luna said. "I see...." "Careful. We're entering an avalanche zone. So don't make too much noise." Daring warned us as we were walking.

Then a loud creepy noise was made and suddenly an avalanche has occurred. "Everypony! Get behind us!" Luna yells as me Daring got behind her as she then activates a shield but then a beam of ice appeared and froze the avalanche like it was nothing. "What was that?!" I asked. "Ughh.... I was warned about this but I thought it was just a local superstition." Daring began. "What superstition?" I asked. "The locals believe that there's a creature living here. They call it the abominable Icepony." Daring explained.

"Of course there is...." I said in a unsurprised look. "It appears that thou icepony left us a trail?" Luna said as we saw that a path was made going up the mountain. "That's odd? I was told that this thing doesn't help ponies?" Daring said. "Then I'm guessing there's some sort of motive to this." I said. "Then tis best to keep our guard up." Princess mom said as we began to climb up the steps that was left for us.

Time skip

We climbed up the steps until we had reached to the top where a cave opening. "Whewwww!! I thought we would never get to the end to these stupid stai- Wait a minute! You two had wings! Why didn't you two fly up here and at the very least let me have a ride!?" I yelled angrily. "Because it would've been dangerous." Daring said. "Actually I could've gotten us up here at any time but this was more fun." Luna said as both me and Daring gave her a "Really" look.

"Onward!" She said as the two of us sighed and walked into the cave. "So where is this..... woah...." I said in awe as I saw the most beautiful, actually I don't think beautiful fits what I am seeing but there was no word that could describe it any better, Diamond I have ever seen. "That's a diamond!?" I yelled.

"Yes! And now we must-" Luna stopped mid sentence. "We must?" I asked as I turned to see Mom frozen!? "What!?" I yelled as I turned to see Daring who was also frozen. "Huh?!" I said in panic as I was now in a battle pose as I saw something skating towards me?! "What is.... Oh no...." I said as I saw the thing clear as day.

"You just had to be the icepony that Daring was talking about. Why am I not surprised." I said as I sighed. "Alright! Let's do- Oh my goodness!?!" I yelled as I barely dodged an ice beam attack. "Oh that's how you wanna play!?" I said as I used hydro pump to push me towards the Glastreir and did a brick break at the head which pushed it down a little. "It then fired a barrage of icicles at me which I was dodging like crazy.

"Jokes on you! I've been practicing and training for a long time. So there issss oh my goodness!!!" I yelled as I was hit by a mini avalanche. After a few seconds it calmed and I poked my head out and spit out some snow and ice. "Bleh! This tastes terrible!" I said as I jumped out of the snow. "So that's how you wanna play! Then how about surf!?"

No pov:

A few seconds later

Deep in the cave there was a dead end filled with a bunch of random stuff and it was quiet. But the a huge wave of water came bursting in and both the Glastreir and you were in the wave of water as it hit the dead end which cause a big explosion.

Your pov:

"Oooowwwww..... I guess Surf in a cave was not a good idea." I groaned as I slowly got up. I saw the Glastreir who was also slowly getting up. "Ok I need to end this quick so I can unfreeze mom and Daring. Time to end this!" I yelled as I charged at the Pokémon. "Reversal!!" I yelled as I felt a huge energy coming off of me and all going up to my hoof as I was prepared to finish this fight. "Stop!" I heard a voice say which I quickly stopped my attack in confusion. "Huh!"

"You have shown that you were trying to stop this fight to unfreeze your companions. Then you earned this." The Pokémon said to me as it hands me a feather. "...........Huh?" I said in confusion. "Aren't you gonna take it?" She asked me. "Your a girl? Also you can talk!?" I asked in surprise. "Of course. Telepathy is a common thing for strong minded Pokémon." She said.

"Uh huh..... What's going on!? And why the feathers!?" I demanded. "I can't tell you until you beat Zapdos, Articuno, Moltres, and Spectrier." "Already did that..... sort of with some." I told her. "Oh..... Then I suppose you are ready..... You were supposed to come here first!? Forget it forget it.... Anyway..... is your name (y/n)?" She asked me which surprised me.

"How... how do you.... Know my name?" I asked as the Glastreir then stomps her hooves and a wall comes down to reveal a cave painting of. "Calyrex!" "Yes! This Pokémon has summoned you to this time because there is a dangerous threat out there fixing to be released and it will cause destruction to all of Equstria and beyond." "What is this threat?" I asked her. "It has no name..... In this world. But I can't tell you because the less you know.... The better the results are." She told me.

"........Really?" "Hey I didn't foresee the future and I'm just repeating what Calyrex told me to tell you! ......But yeah, I agree that it is stupid. But what can I do? He never told me much so I can't really tell you." She told me. "But anyway, Calyrex fought this threat and contained it and hidden it somewhere were it can't be found.... But we both know that it's coming back because you were summoned and he foresaw it all..... He was very confusing to talk to or understand but he was a great leader and friend." She trailed off.

"Uhhhh the problem?" I asked. "Huh. Oh right! Sorry, I'm only 21 million years old so it's been a very long time." She told me. "I see...." "Anyway,me and four others were told to give a test to see if you are ready to face it." "So I'm ready?" "Oh gosh No! You still have one last test but it isn't with any Pokémon. This one is a secret and if you can figure it out then you can beat it. And if not..... Then you failed." She said.

"Failed!? Oh dear this is gonna be nerve racking!" I said in panic but I then sighed. "Alright. I'll try my best." "Good. Now this doesn't come out. We never talked to each other. Got it!?" "Yes ma'am!" "Good. Now I shall unfreeze your companions but you must never say a word." "I got it!" I said as I walked back as I heard the Glastreir stomp which must mean that she unfroze them. I walked over and saw them. "Ughh... what happened?" Princess mom asks.

"Oh ummm.... The icepony was here and beat it." I awkwardly answered. "But anyway, let's get that diamond!" I quickly changed the subject. "Uhhh alright?" Luna said with a raised eyebrow.

Time skip:

We had returned to Ponyville a few days later and me and Twilight were watching Mom and Rainbow from a booth away from the two so Rainbow wouldn't see us. "YES!" Rainbow yelled as Me and Twilight chuckled at her reaction. "Hehe. Looks like Rainbow is now your mom." Twilight teased. "It appears so." I said with smile as I heard Twilight sighed. "I know you answered me about what happens at Everhoof mountain but... you've been silent about and Luna said that you were silent on the way back. What happened?" She asked me in worry.

"Just..... let's just say.... Something bad is gonna happen and I don't know what or when.... Also please don't tell anyone I told you because I sort of promised not to tell." I told her. "Ok wow... that was somehow easier than I thought.... But..... whatever happens.... Just know that me and everypony else is here and we will help and we will figure out a way to deal with this together." She told me with a comforting smile which I returned with a small smile. "You're right. I guess I was just worried. But I'm sure it's something that we can handle it." "No matter what." She said as we Rainbow and Luna was coming towards with smiles on their face, w-well.... Rainbow's was the biggest."

Elsewhere

In the middle of the night there was a gate which two Pokémon were sitting at attention. They were Zacian and Zamazenta.

Then there was a snap from down in the woods which make the two Pokémon stand at attention and growl as a shadowy figure walked up. "So.... This is the place." The figure said with a dark smile.

Sorry this took a while but here is the chapter and I am glad to say that this story is fixing to come to an end. It's been a long ride and I can't believe that I finally made it.
