Conrad POV:
For the past 2 hours Olivia has been all over the place. Dancing everywhere and drinking. Even though I have only known her for a couple weeks, I have never even seen her drink before.
Maybe she's just trying it out.
"Conrad," I hear someone holler from behind me.
"What's up," I say to Liam, that is heading towards my way.
"Nothin. Chit chatting and stuff. Where's your girl?"
"Somewhere around here," I say, while grabbing the cigarette he is handing towards me.
I look at the ocean and see a bunch of people drunkenly dancing, really far into the ocean.
"Estupidos," Liam says, while shaking his head and taking a sip of his drink.
"Truly,"
"Conrad!" I hear someone holler from every far away.
I see Elina running to me as if there is a horrific animal coming to bite her ass.
"You're-The" she stops, trying to catch her breath.
"What Elina. What's wrong?" I say, growing fear by the horrified look in her face
"Your girl. Olivia. She's at the ocean and she-"
"Shit. Where? What part?" I say, impatiently waiting for her answer. But she is still out of breath and not able to talk.
"Come on, Elina."
She points towards the people that we were calling idiots earlier.
Shit. Shit. Shit. Shit.
I run towards the crowd and see that everyone is looking over someone on the ground.
"Let me through," I say, but everyone ignores.
"I'm fine." I hear a familiar voice say from the ground.
I push through the crowd and see Olivia on the grown, completely drenched. Beside her is this guy, who is also drenched in water.
"Thanks Tae," she says.
"Shit Olivia. You scared me half to death. What were you thinking going out there drunk?!" I say, leaning down towards her level.
"I'm fine Conrad," she says, while getting up and wobbling a bit.
People around us are laughing and whispering. She laughs with them and then grabs some girl's drink.
"Cheers to me being alive," She slurs, while placing the drink up in the air.
"Cheers," they all holler, while laughing.
"No. No more," I say, while grabbing the drink out of her hand and giving it back to the girl.
"Do you.." she says, while placing her pointer finger on my chest.
"Think. You. Are. My. Father" she says, while poking my chest in between every word.
"She'll be fine," the Tae guy says, while placing his arm around Olivia.
"Yeah! Yeah I will be, listen to Tae," she slurs, while grabbing the drink from the girl and walking into the ocean with the guy.
This guy has got to be kidding me.
"Let's go," I say, and grab Olivia from her waist and place her over my shoulder.
I hear booing from behind me as if they are some bratty 9 year olds.
"Nooo," Olivia groans.
"Let me downnn. I just want a little fun," she says, while barely hitting me on my back.
"You know what fun. Not dying!"
"Come on Conradd,"
I place her down, far away from the group so they won't encourage her to come in.
I look at her eyes and they are bloodshot red, barely staying open. Her nose is also bright red and so is her cheeks.
"Are you cold?" I ask, but all she does is say I don't know and look into the distance.
As I place my jacket on her, a loud notification comes from her phone. She takes it out of her pocket, in which she very geniously, put it in a ziplock bag to not get wet.
"Are they so...I dont know, perfect family," she slurrs while laughing and showing me a photo of two adults and one kid all dressed up.
"Um. I wouldn't know..." I say, confused where this is going.
"She. Can. Go. To. Hell."
What?
I look over to her phone and she presses a block button on someone's facebook place. She then unblocks them, and blocks them again. She continues to do this until her phone suddenly freezes.
"Come on!," she slurs while aggressively tapping the screen. She tries to throw her phone across the beach, but I stop her before she can do so.
"Hey, hey, hey. Not such a great idea,"
She suddenly starts to break down crying, with tears flowing down her face. The look of her face and the sound of her heavy breathing being able to break anyone's heart into pieces.
"Hey, hey. What-" in the midst of me crying, she collapses onto the ground, placing both of her hands over her face and sobbing.
"Go ahead. Throw the phone. Um. Toss it. Toss it far away, I'll just get you a new one. Toss it." I say, not being completely about sure what is going on.
"How-How can she just do that," she says, while her voice wavers. I go down towards her and see that both her hand and her lips are trembling.
"Who? Who can do what?"
She doesn't say anything, just continues to cry. And every second that passes by makes me want to go look for that person myself and tear them into pieces, even though that sounds outrageous.
"She's such a mess and makes no damn sense.." she says, while wiping her tears away.
"She is so horrible and cruel...but I can't help but still miss her. Even though I've been more of a mother towards myself then she has ever been towards me," she says, and I can hear her voice start to break again.
"And-And I always wondered what I-I did to deserve this, right. All the damn bullshit and pain. And I always wanted to run away from it and be better but-" she suddenly stops and looks away, trying to not cry again.
"But I am just like her, I jus-"
"No you're not Liv. No youre not. You are-"
"I mean look at me,"
Her voice breaks, and more tears start to fall down her face.
"Drinking my problems away. I am such a fucking mess,"
"Oliva. Look at me." I say, while grabbing her hand.
" You are the most sweetest, compassionate, and nicest person I have ever met. No one can top you, truly. I have met some fucked up people and trust me, they don't even know it. If you trulyyy were this cruel, messed up kind of person that did shitty things, you would probably be too egotistical to even notice."
"But-"
"But, you're literally sitting here and crying about not wanting to be that way. Having a drink one day with your friends doesn't make you a villain just because your mother is. Being in relation to her doesn't mean you will turn out to be this mess. You'll be fine. Really," I say, while whipping her tears away.
She nods and gives me a smile. Tears still on her face, but she looks a bit more relieved now.
"Can you walk?" I ask her.
"Yes," she says while standing up quickly and almost falling onto the ground.
"Alright then," I say, and bending over towards the ground in front of her.
"Let go," I say, tapping my back for her to get on. She places her arms a around my neck and her head against mine.
"How will I get over it now?" she whispers.
"Get over what?"
"The kiss," she slurs.
"What kiss?" I ask.
But she doesn't answer. Instead she plops her head onto my shoulder and gets comfortable.
The kiss?
I continued walking towards the house wondering whom she had kissed. When she had kissed them.
If it was better than our kiss.
