Author's Note

At long last, we've reached the end of Food Courting, and thank you all so much for following Cora and Farron's journey! This story was my first attempt at a primarily romance novel, and while I was hesitant at first, it wasn't long before the world of dancing oranges and food court battles showed me how to let loose and have fun.

While I usually dabble in the speculative fiction realm, I needed a lighthearted break, both emotionally and mentally. When I saw a meme on Instagram, the perfect solution sprung to life, and Food Courting was born!

With time, this story taught me many things. Cora's hardworking personality was admirable, and her wild imagination always made me laugh. Farron's confidence was inspirational, and their easygoing attitude proved that it's okay to live life at your own pace. Together, both of them showed me another thing: don't be afraid to stand up for your happiness.

Some parts of this story were a challenge, but in the end, I'm very pleased with how it turned out. I hope you all had as much fun reading it as I had writing it!
