AVERYS POINT OF VIEW.

A sharp knock was heard on the front door, through the quiet house.

I groaned as I turned over before pushing myself out of bed and headed downstairs.

I looked out the window and I was shocked when I realized who it was.

Ivy.

My breath hitched.

I slowly unlocked the door before letting her in.

"You can sit on the couch, I'll be back I need to get ready for the day" I told her making her nod before I made my way upstairs.

I had just finished pulling my hair back into a ponytail when I heard my bedroom door pushed opened.

I slightly looked out my bathroom door, when my gaze settled on Calista.

She was rubbing her eyes, her stuffed bunny in her arms.

She climbed onto my bed settling on the top near my pillows as I walked out my bathroom shutting the door behind me.

"I'm going to make breakfast what do you want" I asked as I pushed some of her curly strands behind her ears.

"Eggs please" she mumbled. "I'll turn the tv on, you can stay in here" I replied as I grabbed my remote off my dresser.

" doc mcstuffins please" Calista requested.

after I got that turned out for her I made my way out my room shutting the door behind me.

"Ivy why are you here" I asked once I made it back downstairs and I walked into the living room.

"Is it a crime to come see my big sister" she asked making me roll my eyes. "Half big sister" I mumbled as I walked towards the kitchen, ivy following close behind.

" so any new boyfriends? Or girlfriends " she asked as she slid into a seat at the island.

" none of your business" I replied as I got the eggs and cheese out the fridge.

" AUNTIE IVYYYYY" Calista screeched as she ran towards her. " Calista you've gotten so big" ivy replied as she pulled the little girl into a tight hug.

"Mommy gave me the day off school! And she took the day off work" Calista said excitedly.

" that's exciting, do you want to hang out with Genesis while me and your mom go somewhere" she asked Calista making my eye brow raise in confusion.

" yes, can I please mommy" Calista asked me as she turned to face me.

" sure, but you have to eat breakfast first and take a bath before we leave" I told Calista before I turned back to her scrambled eggs that were cooking.

" we can go to the mall and catch up, ask charlotte if she wants to join us" Ivy offered.

I stopped to actually think about it and I haven't seen her or charlotte in a while and it would be good for all of us to catch up.

I sighed as I pulled my phone out of my Jean pocket, pulling up me and charlottes messages which was pretty close to the top.

I seen a message from Arabella pop up asking where I was, I opened it and I started explaining why I wasn't there but as soon as I went to click the send button I heard Calista scream.

I instantly turned my phone off and set it down before I headed towards her room to see what was wrong.

"Tesoro, cos'è successo?" I asked as I walked towards where she was, she was standing in front of her mirror and she seemed perfectly fine.

" my bow broke" she said as her eyes filled up with tears. I let out a breath I didn't realize I was holding as I crouched down to her level.

"You didn't have to scream for that, I can buy you a new one, why don't we just pick out a different one for today" I offered as I pulled out a black bow from her hair bin.

I clipped it on her little bun before turning her around to face her mirror. She smiled slightly before she turned around to hug me.

"Thank you" I heard her mumbled as she sniffled , wiping her tears from earlier .

I looked down at her messed up bow, it was her favorite one, Arabella had got it for her birthday a while back.

Speaking of her I need to text her back, I don't need her thinking I'm mad at her.

Me, Ivy and charlotte were walking through one of the biggest malls in Pennsylvania, and it was packed with people.

"Where to first" Ivy asked earning a shrug from me, I don't like shopping and I certainly didn't care to be here right now.

" oooh let's go to Victoria secret" charlotte said earning a agreement from Ivy. " I'll wait out here" I told them making Charlotte roll her eyes at me.

"You need to pick out something cute, you know for when you and Arabella get into it" Charlotte said with a wink.

"Arabella, who's that?" Ivy asked making me glare at her. "None of your business" I said as I crossed my arms, following them into the store.

I hated that about Ivy, she comes and sees me once every year just to be all up in my personal business.

I felt uncomfortable as I looked at all the underwear that was in front of me.

I don't shop here.

I prefer to wear boxers, they're more comfortable.

"Why don't you pick something out for her" Charlotte asked from beside me.

" no thanks." I disagreed with her. " atleast this one" she offered as she held up a lavender set, it was actually very pretty.

"It would look good with her eye color" Charlotte said. After that I snatched the items out her hands before heading up to check out.

This was embarrassing and I didn't like being here at all.

After they scanned everything I swiped my card and got the receipt and bag from them and I quickly made my way out the store.

As I sat outside the store waiting for Charlotte and Ivy I went to pull out my phone so I could text my favorite girl back until I realized my phone wasn't in my pocket.

Damnit I must've left it in the car.

A little while later Charlotte and Ivy both came out with their stuff and we headed to the next store .

I got a few outfits and new bows for Calista, as well as some stuff for a surprise I'm setting up for Arabella this weekend.

"It was nice catching up, we should start hanging out more often" Ivy said as Calista got into the car and she was grabbing her bags.

"Why don't you come to the festival with us tomorrow ?" Charlotte offered from the passenger seat making me roll my eyes.

" that sounds fun! Send me the deets Avery " Ivy said, that's if I can find my phone I looked everywhere in my car and I still couldn't find it.

Once she headed inside I got back into the drivers seat, driving back towards my house.

"How was it with genesis and uncle mark" I asked Calista.

" it was fun we played so many games! Have you ever heard of just dance I love it" she said excitedly.

" I used to love that game" Charlotte said from the passenger seat, they both engaged in a long conversation about just dance the rest of the way home after that.

It was dark outside , we were all hanging out for a really long time.

Calista needs to get home to her bed because she has school in the morning and I have to go to work.
