Chapter 96
Sweet Submission: Reclaiming Her Love
Chapter 96 Kill Him âLook at you, making such a fuss over a little boiling water. If it were ten men planning to assault you, wouldnât you be ready to kill them?â Elliot taunted with a sneer.
âHow dare you compare her situation to mine!â Owen retorted sharply.
Elliot stood up, signaling the end of the conversation.
For someone like Owen, the safety of others was inconsequential.
He only reacted dramatically when he himself was directly impacted.
âOwen, Iâm giving you one last chance. Where are my motherâs belongings?â Elliot demanded, placing a knife on the coffee table for emphasis.
When Owen noticed the knife, his anger surged.
âDo you actually intend to threaten me, your father, all because of a woman?â
His voice filled the room.
âWhy not?â Elliot responded coolly, taking a sip of coffee. âKeeping you in the Andrews family all these years was too lenient.
Thatâs why you think you can interfere in my life. It seems youâre no longer interested in being part of this family.â
Owenâs face turned livid.
Handing over the belongings was not an option. Without them, he would lose his final bit of influence and his standing in the Andrews family.
âIf you dare touch me, Iâll take your motherâs belongings to the grave with me!â Owen spat out, his voice trembling with rage.
Elliot set his cup down with a soft clink. âSo, youâre sure you wonât give them up?â
He sighed, summoning Kaden with a gesture.
Owenâs eyes flickered with fear as he watched Kaden approach.
âBreak one of Owenâs arms,â Elliot ordered, his voice cold and detached.
He poured himself another cup of coffee, the steam rising gently.
Owenâs eyes widened in panic. âKaden! Iâm his father. Donât you dare touch me!â
Kaden said, âSorry,â and firmly grasped Owenâs arm, ready to act.
âStop!â Just then, a voice shouted from outside, interrupting the tense scene.
Elliot turned toward the door and stood up. âGrandpa.â

Chapter 96 Kill Him Gavin Andrews entered, leaning heavily on his cane, with Elliotâs second uncle, Conner Andrews, at his side.
âElliot, no matter how much he has wronged you, he is still your father. Why must it come to this?â Gavinâs voice carried a deep, pained resonance.
He turned to Owen. âAnd you, at your age, fighting with your son. Arenât you ashamed?â
Seeing Gavin, Owen shouted at Kaden, âLet go of me, quickly!â
Kaden glanced at Elliot, who nodded, and then released Owen.
Elliot wondered how Gavin had managed to come. The old man rarely left his home, especially with his mobility issues. Why had he appeared so suddenly?
âGrandpa, what brings you here?â Elliot asked, helping Gavin to a seat.
Despite his disdain for Owen, Elliot held deep respect for Gavin, who had entrusted the family to him.
But it was also Gavin who had intervened to spare Owenâs life.
Without Gavin, Owen would have been dead long ago.
Owen sighed in relief and addressed Gavin, âDad.â
âI came by to check on things. Who knew Iâd walk into such a scene?â Gavin replied, his voice tinged with disappointment.
As Elliot poured coffee for Gavin, he recalled the two cups he had seen upon arriving.
He glanced briefly upstairs, suspecting someone had tipped Gavin off.
Returning his gaze to Gavin, he maintained his composure, masking his suspicions.
