26. Flight To Home
Ishq Deewangi (Book 2)
The families of the to-be groom and bride returned to India at the earliest to begin the wedding preparations while Maitri and Aryaman came a week later.
Aryaman knocked on Maitri's apartment door, waiting for her impatiently.
"What? You'll break my door" She opened the door hurriedly and went inside pulling her suitcases out. Aryaman looked at the size of her bags and then at her and rolled his eyes.
"Let me do that. you lock the house" He easily pulled her suitcases out while she rechecked everything in her apartment. Aryaman stood in front of the elevators waiting for it to arrive while Maitri stood in front of her door.
"Where are you lost?" Aryaman wrapped a hand over her waist and asked her.
"Next time I'll return here I'll be Maitri Aryaman Ranawat" She felt emotional closing her apartment door.
"You might have my name behind yours but you are you. You give yourself a personality, an identity in the world. My name simply adorns yours" He rubbed her shoulder, pulling her tightly in his embrace. She leaned her head on his shoulder and looked at him with teary eyes.
"I hate you when you say such cute things. I can't even stay sad for a long time" She hit his chest playfully.
"What will you do now? I've already trapped you" Aryaman turned her body towards his and said with a proud look.
"Buri phas gayi (I've got trapped badly)" She rolled her eyes at him and pushed him away to lock the door.
"Let's go we will miss the flight" He said holding the elevator open as she quickly rushed inside, double checking for her passport and tickets.

"Maitri"
"Ji" Maitri laid on the bed in Aryaman's private jet. She had her glasses on and legs crossed as she worked on her laptop. Aryaman walked out of the bathroom hiding something behind him.
"Maitrii" He called her once again.
"Kya? Am busy Maan" She didn't look up once from the laptop screen.
"I'll burn down this laptop one day" He murmured to himself angrily before launching himself on her and throwing away her laptop on to the other side. He placed his head on her lap and played with her hair.
"What are you doing Maan?" She pulled her hair out of his grip making him look at her angrily. She glared back at him. Without saying anything, he stood up slightly and pulled her hair in front again. She hit his hand and tried to push him away from her lap but he stopped her by pulling her glasses away.
"Maan, why are you disturbing me?" She crossed her hands and looked down at her lap.
"You'll do something for me?" He asked looking at her with shiny eyes.
"That is my trick to get my work done from you" She looked at him with scrutinizing eyes.
"Please" He gave her puppy-eyes look.
"As long as that something doesn't involve me cumming for you. Am seriously tired right now to do anything that requires you doing something to me" She said stretching her arms and leaning onto the wall of the private jet. After the marriage was announced, Aryaman and Maitri never left one chance to makeout.
"I know dear you are dying to cum for me but this is non-sex thing am asking for" He held her face in his hand and shook her head.
"That's new. What is it?" She asked interested.
"Remember our first night together?" He asked getting comfortable on her lap. Maitri unconsciously ran her fingers in his hair.
"Yeah. What about it?"
"Will you wear that saree again?" He played with the ends of her hair, avoiding looking her in the eyes.
"Why? Frankly I don't even remember what I wore" She said making him look at her.
"It was our first night together and you don't remember?" He said in fake shock.
"We didn't do anything special that night that you are so shocked that I don't remember it" She pushed him away from her lap and stood up from her bed.
"What evil thoughts are going on in your head?" She looked at him questioningly.
"Wear the saree and I'll show you what was special and evil thoughts are going in my head" He picked the saree he hid under the pillow and held it in front of her.
"You've come prepared" She looked at him impressed and pushed him, walking to the bathroom.
She changed into the saree he gave and walked out to find him missing from the bedroom.
"Maan" She called out for him. Picking the hair clutch from the side counter she pulled her hair into a bun and secured it with the hair clutch. She moved to the outside and heard music playing from the kitchen.
She walked to the kitchen vibing to the song. She didn't find him there too.
"Konsa bahar kud jayenge,he must be here somewhere" She ignored his absence and opened the cabinets looking for tea leaves. She bent down to look for it.
"Again looking for tea?" Aryaman asked leaning onto the wall. Out of shock Maitri lost her control and fell on the ground.
"Seriously?" She looked at him angrily as he gave her his hand to stand up. Ignoring it, she stood up herself.
"Left cabinet on top" He said rubbing his nose to stop laughing at her. She opened it and found the tea leaves.
"There's tea leaves here" She looked at Aryaman shocked in happiness. He shurgged his shoulders.
"I knew I did the right thing by loving you" She threw herself on him and kissed his cheek tightly before breaking apart and making tea. She didn't have to ask him if he'll have or not because she knew he would have it from her cup.
He simply stared at her as she made tea.
"Why are you staring at me like that?" She asked straining the tea into two cups.
"Because last time I couldn't" He held one cup from her and pulled her to the seats.
"I shouldn't have added sugar in the tea. Your words are doing the same thing" She sat opposite him and took a sip of tea. Once she took a sip and placed her cup down, Aryaman changed the cups and took a sip from where her lipstick stained the glass. Maitri looked out of the window smiling. Both of them fell into a comfortable silence.
"So what was special about this saree?" She asked picking up both the cups. Aryaman didn't answer her until she placed the cups in sink and opened the tap to wash them. Aryaman stood right behind her and wrapped his both arms around her waist. She jumped in place at the sudden touch.
"Continue washing" Aryaman said nuzzling his nose on her neck. She somehow managed to finish washing the utensils and turned around. Aryaman pushed her to the sink, trapping her between his body and sink. He started kissing the length of her neck. She tightened her grip on the sink and turned her head other direction, giving him more access to her neck.
"Maan" She moaned his name with closed eyes.
"This was special about the saree Ranisa" He said carrying her in bridal style to the room.
"No hanky-panky before marriage" She warned him as he placed her on the bed.
"Promise" He said winking at her. He moved beside her on the bed and pulled her close.
"Excited to get married?" She asked him, playing with his fingers.
"Can't wait to make you mine" He said kissing her forehead.
"Waise what kind of wedding lehenga do you want? These days I think wearing your mum's wedding dress is a trend" He asked softly.
"In our culture we aren't supposed to wear someone else's bridal dress or use anything that symbolizes that it is for married women. Sharing a certain thing with another woman means you are giving your husband to her and I don't want that. I don't want to share you" She fisted his t-shirt with a pout.
"What can't they share?" He asked curiously.
"Umm for example bindi. A married woman will never take off the bindi that's on her forehead and give that to another woman. She'll give her the packet but not that particular bindi she has on. These days women are cutting their bridal lehenga and making something new out of it is a no-no in our culture. A small tear in the lehenga symbolizes there'll be problems in your marriage or something bad will happen to you or your husband, that's why if you notice our mums have their wedding lehenga but they never wear it or keep it anyhow. It symbolizes happy married life" She explained to him in the same words her mum had explained it to her once.
"So you aren't a sharing person?" He asked with a smirk.
"Not when it comes to you. Take anything you want but not my husband. You are mine okay Mr. Ranawat" She said with pride. Both of them engaged in their marriage talks and fell asleep in each other's arms.
