Chapter 15

Unfinished

Playboy's Heart

Chapter 12

"God, Sky, there are so many bruises on your face," Divika said in a worried tone, her eyes scanning the purpling marks on his cheek and jaw.

Sky waved her concern off with a faint smile. "It's not that bad, P."

"That guy is worse than Sky, P. Don't worry," Song chimed in, her focus on her phone as she scrolled through her messages.

Ter sighed and gently patted Song's head. "Song, you're supposed to stop Sky, not let him get into a fight like that," he said with a mix of exasperation and fondness. He then tilted her face slightly, inspecting the faint redness on her cheek.

"You're not hurt anywhere else, are you?" Ter asked, his voice soft.

"I'm fine," Song replied, brushing her hand away but not before flashing him a small smile. "Besides, Sky was the one throwing punches, not me."

Divika shot Sky a pointed look, crossing her arms. "Still, you shouldn't have let it get that far, Sky. What if it had gotten worse? You could've really hurt yourself." She paused for emphasis, her expression stern. "And don't forget. you're an actor. You can't afford to show up to work with bruises all over your face."

Sky sighed, looking down at his hands. "I know, P. But he crossed the line when he hit Song. I couldn't just do nothing."

Song frowned and sat up straighter. "Okay, but let's not act like Sky did this for no reason. That guy had it coming. He shouldn't have hit me in the first place."

Divika sighed, pinching the bridge of her nose. "No one's saying Sky wasn't justified, Song. But there are better ways to handle situations like this."

Sky nodded reluctantly, his shoulders slumping. "I'll try to be more careful next time," he muttered.

"Good," Divika said, her tone softening slightly. "Rest until your bruise is heal, I will talk with your manager."

"And Song, stop provoking people into fights, okay?" Divika continued as she shot a point glare at Song.

Song rolled her eyes but smirked. "No promises."

Divika settled beside them, her worry gradually giving way to relief. Despite the scolding, they were all glad Sky and Song had each other's backs, even if it sometimes led to situations like this.

After a while, there was a knock at the door. Divika was busy helping Ter cook dinner for the "kids," as she fondly referred to Sky and Song.

"Song, can you get the door?" Divika called out from the kitchen, her voice slightly raised to be heard over the clatter of pots and pans.

Song, lounging on the couch and scrolling through her phone, groaned but got up anyway. "Fine, fine, I'm going," she muttered, dragging her feet toward the door.

As she opened it, she was greeted by a familiar face. "What are you doing here?" she asked, her tone a mix of surprise and curiosity.

It was Nani.

"I heard what happened," he said casually even though his mind is about to explore already, he stepping inside without waiting for an invitation.

As he entered, his eyes quickly scanned the room, landing on Divika and Ter in the kitchen. He gave them a polite nod, though they both raised their eyebrows at his unexpected arrival. Nani play a polite act since Sky always told him that Divika and Ter always take care of him.

"Aren't you Nani? " Divika and Ter knew Nani—not because of his relationship with Sky, but because of his infamous reputation. Nani was well-known for his playboy image and bold personality that come with the power family background, a name that carried weight in social circles.

"I came to visit Sky," Nani said, dodging any further small talk and cutting straight to the point.

Divika raised an eyebrow, glancing at Ter before responding. "He's in his room," she answered,

"Thanks." Nani replied curtly, already moving.

Divika exchanged a look with Ter, her curiosity evident.

"Darling, just by looking at him, I feel scared already. How can our puppy fall for that kind of guy?" Ter asked with a teasing grin, dramatically pretending to shiver as he wrapped himself tightly around Divika's arm.

Divika chuckled, patting his hand. "I know it might seem strange," she said, her smile softening. "But I believe in Sky. He wouldn't fall for a bad person."

Ter raised an eyebrow, still grinning. "Like what? The ability to scare us all with just a look?"

Divika laughed, shaking her head. "Maybe. But if Nani's here, it means Sky's important to him. And that says a lot."

"Fine, I'll trust your judgment," Ter said with a mock sigh, releasing her arm. "But I'm keeping an eye on him, just in case."

Divika smirked, nudging him playfully. "You do that, darling. Just don't let him catch you—or you'll be the one who ends up dead first."

Nani pushed the door open and stepped inside, only to freeze for a moment as his eyes landed on Sky. Fresh out of the shower, Sky stood by his wardrobe, a towel wrapped loosely around his waist, his damp hair dripping slightly onto his bare shoulders.

Sky looked up, surprised. "Nani? What are you doing here?" he asked.

"What about you tell me first why you ran away from me at school?" Nani asked, his tone cold and demanding.

Sky froze for a moment, the towel still in his hand. He avoided Nani's gaze, biting his lip.

"Speak. Why would you become so silent when you had the nerve to avoid me after what happened?" Nani pressed, his voice firm but edged with concern. His sharp gaze bore into Sky, demanding answers.

Sky flinched slightly but remained quiet.

"Do you have any idea how much you scared me? Seeing that video" He stopped himself, running a hand through his hair in frustration. "If I ever have a heart attack, I swear, you'll be the reason."

" I am sorry, I just don't want you to get involve in this mess, too." he said softly, his voice barely audible.

Nani's frustration faltered for a moment as he saw the turmoil in Sky's expression. "You're already in my life. Your mess is my mess. Stop shutting me out."

Sky swallowed hard, his voice trembling as he whispered, "I'm sorry."

"You better be," Nani muttered, his voice softening as he notice the trembling in Sky's voice, then he opening his arms. "Come here."

Sky hesitated for a second, his heart racing, before he slowly lifted his head. He looked at Nani, searching his eyes for any sign of anger. Instead, he saw only concern, and something deeper he couldn't quite place.

Without a word, Sky walked over and let Nani pull him into a tight embrace. Nani's arms wrapped around him securely, like a shield from everything outside.

"Idiot," Nani whispered against Sky's hair, his voice low but filled with affection. "Next time, no matter what happens, tell me. If you ever pull something like this again, I might actually lose my mind."

Sky didn't say anything, his face pressed into Nani's shoulder. He simply nodded, taking in the warmth and comfort Nani was offering.

Nani let out a relieved breath as he tightened his hold on Sky, just seeing Sky's face was enough to calm the storm inside him, even if just for a moment. Nani couldn't help but think, Sky is going to be the death of me one day.

He slowly pulled away, gently taking Sky's arms to turn him around and take a better look at him. His eyes softened with concern as he saw the bruises on Sky's chest and neck. His hand  reached out to touch the bruise on Sky's neck, his fingers brushing over it gently.

"Does it hurt?" Nani asked, his voice quiet, filled with tenderness.

Sky shook his head slightly, a faint smile tugging at his lips. "Not really."

Nani frowned, unconvinced. "You're lying." He gently pressed his fingers against the bruise, watching Sky's reaction closely, Sky winced slightly. Nani's expression softened, but his eyes were still serious.

Nani gently cupped Sky's face in his hands, his fingers tracing the contours of his jaw before leaning in. His lips brushed softly against the bruise on Sky's cheek, his kiss lingering there for a moment, a silent apology for the pain Sky had endured. Nani still didn't pull away. He moved down, his lips brushing over the bruise on Sky's neck, too. as if he were trying to erase the pain, to soothe the hurt that had been caused.

Sky's breath caught slightly, and he smiled, his heart beating a little faster than usual. It was a simple act, but it meant more than words could say.

When Nani finally pulled back, their eyes locked, and there was an unspoken understanding between them. Sky knew Nani was there for him, no matter what.

Without hesitation, Sky pulled Nani in for a kiss, his hands reaching up to grasp the back of Nani's neck, pulling him closer. The kiss was gentle at first, a tender melding of their lips, as if they were both savoring the moment.

Nani's arms wrapped around Sky, pulling him tighter, his lips deepening the kiss in response. Sky lift Nani up in his arm. it become his habit that he couldn't stop himself to lift Nani up when they are kissing.

Nani's legs wrapped around Sky's waist as the kiss deepened, his fingers gripping tighter into Sky's hair, pulling him closer. Sky's hands slid down, grabbing onto Nani's thigh, his hold firm but gentle as he moved with purpose, walking toward the table. Each step was deliberate, the heat between them building with every brush of their lips, every soft gasp shared between them.

As Sky reached the table, he gently placed Nani to sit down on the table, never breaking the kiss. Sky leaned over him, his hands pressing against the surface of the wall for support as they kissed with more urgency.

Sky's hand slid down to Nani's waist, his fingers teasing the edge of his shirt, pulling it up just enough to feel the heat of Nani's skin beneath his fingertips. The way Nani responded, his soft breath against Sky's mouth, made Sky's pulse race, the feeling of being wanted.

Sky moved his lips from Nani's mouth to his neck, planting soft kisses along the skin there, each kiss leaving a lingering warmth.

"Sky," Nani breathed, his voice low and wanting, his hands sliding over Sky's back, urging him closer. "Don't stop." The simple words sent a thrill through Sky, and he complied, his lips finding Nani's again, the kiss fierce and hungry.

There was a sudden knock on Sky's door.

"Sky, dinner is ready. Come out when you're done sorting things out." Divika

The knock on the door pulled them both out of their heated moment, a sudden interruption that made the tension in the room shift instantly. Sky froze for a second, his forehead resting against Nani's, breath still heavy from their kiss. Nani's hands were still gently gripping Sky's back, his lips barely an inch from Sky's, but the sound of Divika's voice outside was enough to make them both pause.

Sky let out a frustrated sigh, his lips grazing Nani's one last time before he pulled away reluctantly. "I swear, it's like everyone knows when we're in the middle of something," he muttered, a hint of annoyance in his voice.

Nani chuckled softly, wiping a strand of hair from Sky's face. "Looks like we'll have to finish this later," he said with a teasing smile.

Sky shot him a playful look before calling out toward the door. "We'll be out in a second, P. Don't wait for us!"

Divika's voice echoed through the door. "I'm not waiting, I'm just making sure you're okay. Don't take too long, though!"

Sky stepped aside from the table, offering his hand to Nani to help him down. Nani took Sky's hand, letting him guide him off the table, his fingers brushing over Sky's as they stood close.

As Sky turned to walk toward his closet, Nani's hand shot out, grabbing his wrist and pulling him back toward him. Before Sky could react, Nani cupped his face, pressing his lips against Sky's in a deep, hungry kiss. Sky, caught off guard but completely responding, kissed him back with equal intensity, as if savoring every second of it.

But just as quickly as it had begun, Nani pulled away, leaving Sky standing there, breathless and slightly dazed.

Without saying a word, Nani flashed him a mischievous grin, as if nothing had just happened, and casually walked out of the room, leaving Sky standing there.

Sky couldn't help but chuckle softly to himself. Nani always knew how to leave him wanting more. With a sigh, Sky finally walked to the closet to get dressed.
