Chapter 22

With Blood and Love

(REQUESTS ON HIATUS) Kokuzan oneshots

The demon king had always been known for his bloodlust. Stories of children, the elderly and commoners disappearing after they meet a certain long haired man with sikly pale skin with red ruby like eyes that looked like they glowed. That was whom people said the demon king was.

-------------

Said demon king sat in his office, a stack of paperwork on his dark wooden desk and an expensive pen in his hand as he wrote on the nth paper. He clenched his pen in his hand as he wrote, wrote and wrote. He'd been sitting in his office for 5 days straight. He hadn't eaten any marechi for a month or so and he felt like he was going to faint.

He felt like he was going to faint. That sentence ran through his head. He wasn't supposed to feel like he was going to faint, he was the demon king for heaven's sake! A demon, let alone the king shouldn't be able to feel such nonsense.

Muzan sighed and bit on the end of his pen, his fangs scratching the expensive metal. Not long after, he heard a soft knock on the oak door of his office, followed by a soft; "My Angel".

He could recognize that deep voice from anywhere. "Come in", Muzan said after a minute of silence, turning his head to the slowly opening door. In walked his dearest uppermoon, his strongest creation and his first and last lover, Kokushibou.

Said man gave the stronger a soft bow before walking closer. "What can I do for you, my dearest uppermoon?" the black haired man asked softly, eyes half lidded as he spoke.

Gently, the strongest uppermoon sat down next to his beloved, a hand on the stronger's thigh. "My Angel, how have you been?" the six-eyed demon asked, a hint of concern in his tone.

Muzan blinked slowly, his mouth slightly agape. "Mh... I'm... alright. I suppose", he said before turning back to his paperwork.

Kokushibou shook his head and gently grapped Muzan's hand that held the pen, stopping him from continuing his work. "My Angel, I want you to rest." Kokushibou's voice was a little lower than usual, concern in it.

The sentence sounded strange to Muzan, he'd never been told to take a break before. He stared at his husband, trying to hide his light shock. However, he simply nodded and walked over to the taller one as he felt a hand around his waist.

Gently, Kokushibou helped Muzan stand up and walk towards the bed that stood in the room next to them.

Even if they were demons, Kokushibou believed that rest is never a waste of time, instead, he believed it was a moment to let one's sorrows leave the body and relax. And right now he saw it as a top priority to let Muzan rest.

They entered the room, a king sized bed in the middle with a nightstand that held a glass, filled with some marechi blood. The pair walked to the bed, Kokushibou sitting on it whilst waiting for his beloved angel to change.

Muzan walked to him, placing a kiss under all of Kokushibou's eyes with a smile. The weaker demon returned the smile before laying down, letting the other settle on his chest. Slowly, Kokushibou's calloused hands find themselves caressing Muzan's soft locks, which the other let grow for a while now.

Muzan's hair reached his shoulders, and truly it suited him oh so well. "At this distance, you're more enchanting than you seem", Kokushibou spoke, right next to Muzan's ear. It made the shorter one blush, a soft red covering his pale cheeks.

"I didn't know you were such a poet, my dearest moon", the other said softly, sighing contently as he felt the rough hands gently caress his scalp.

Kokushibou simply smiled and kissed his cheek. "Rest, my love", he continued; "I have a surprise for you, after you wake up that is."

-------------

Five hours later, Muzan had woken up with Kokushibou's arms around his waist, spooning him.

Muzan gently turned around, carefull to not wake the other up. Muzan put his hands on Kokushibou's chest, slowly closing his eyes again.

Not long after he felt a hand touch his cold cheek. "Good morning, My Angel." The deep voice of his lover made a pleasurable shiver run down his spine.

"Morning..." Muzan sighed softly, nuzzling into Kokushibou's shoulder. "Still tired?" Muzan gave a nod, hugging Kokushibou tighter.

Kokushibou's large hands moved from Muzan's narrow waist to his soft hips, thumbs gently caressing them.

"My Angel, I have a surprise for you, remember?"

Muzan nodded softly. "Mhm..." He slowly sits up with Kokushibou's hands still on his hips.

"Let's get ready, shall we?" Muzan hummed, standing up and snapping fingers. He wore his usual decorated vest with a white shirt under.

Kokushibou smiled and kissed Muzan's neck. "Truly ethereal, My Angel."

"How flattering of you", Muzan smirked softly.

"I'm simply speaking the truth, My Angel."

-------------

Kokushibou and Muzan walked hand in hand through the house of some rich business partner Muzan had. Said business partner had seemed to have irritated the smaller man multiple times, touching him rather innapropriatly, so Kokushibou decided to take the matter into his own hands.

Kokushibou opened the heavy door, which showed a bloodied ball room. The bodies of multiple people were layed on the floor, others hanging on the chandelier. The organs of severed bodies displayed in a loving heart in the middle of the room.

Slowly, Kokushibou wrapped a hand around Muzan's waist. He gently guided the other to the heart, stepping in the middle.

"I noticed how these... 'people' had been irritating you, so I thought I should give you a surprise", Kokushibou said as he placed both his hands around Muzan's slim waist, watching the other's expression change from light shock to a calm smile. "Thank you, my moon."

He then gently kissed Kokushibou, wrapping his arms around the other's neck. They stared at each other lovingly. "I'm so lucky, My Angel", Kokushibou began, "to have married someone as beautiful as you." He placed a kiss on Muzan's forehead.

"You're magnificent." A kiss on the right cheek. "If I am to ever perish, I wish that you are the last thing I ever see." A kiss on the left cheek. "I pray to every god I know that in every life we live, we will always be fated to be together." And finally, a soft, loving kiss on those beautiful red lips of his husband.

Muzan closed his eyes, leaning into the kiss as his hands trailed from Kokushibou's neck to his shoulders, then to his chest.

While doing so, Kokushibou's hands went from his waist to his hips.

"You truly know how to flatter someone, my dearest moon."
